Antonio Beppe's heart started to race, the panic beginning to set in. Giuliano Guido, awful name, really, just drug a random beauty off the street. I knew he wanted to try and convince the Grande Capo that we should expand into human trafficking, but this is sick! He's a vile, disgusting suino.

But there's nothing I can do. Giuliano is one of the high ranking lieutenants of the Roba Ruvidas and I'm just a chauffer. If I defy him, I'll be hunted down in less than an hour and face the sadists who deal with traitors. 

Il paradiso in alto, I'm just trying to support my family! I don't want to be caught up in the Ruvidas!

While I'm having my internal freak out, a tall, intimidating figure starts stalking down the alleyway, authority rolling off of him in waves. He was dressed like the Grande Capo's second in command. 

This just got so much worse for me...

"Sciocchi, stai cercando di allertare la polizia?!" (Fools, are you trying to alert the police?!)

"No, signore!" I said getting down on my knees. I've learned that complete deference is best with these tyrants. "Guido kidnapped this girl to try and solicit the favor of the Grande Capo!"

Giuliano's original sneer had fallen into one of discomfort.

"That's not entirely true. I just thought the Capo would enjoy this fine specimen!"

I wanted to hurl. This girl couldn't be much older than my daughter! Giuliano is also going to be in so much trouble for foregoing the "Grande" in "Grande Capo." The last man who forewent the honorifics had his tongue and eyes removed and cast out of the Ruvidas. When he tried to go to the polizia, he was hunted down like a dirty dog.

The Figure

"Sciocchi, stai cercando di allertare la polizia?!" I yell to the men in front of me. The chauffer immediately drops to the ground, explaining the situation. I internally smirk. This was easier than I had expected. The chauffer is probably a simple man who got roped into the Ravidas out of desperation. The man holding the girl, however, seems to be an insolent, power hungry pig. After his pathetic excuse, I bark out,

"If you don't want me to slit your throat within the next two minutes, release the girl into my custody and never attempt to do such a thing again and NEVER forget the Grande Capo's honorifics again. Be lucky I'm not cutting your tongue out for such insolence!"

I internally chuckle as I see the horror flash over the pig's face. Apparently, that struck a nerve. Cue internal evil chuckle 

Ugly quickly shoved the girl into my arms and begged pathetically for forgiveness. I indulged myself in a few minutes of berating the boar of a man and then aggressively and violently told them not to be late for picking up the Grande Capo. To make sure the "cops" get thrown off their trail, I told them to wait for ten minutes at a gas station a few blocks away from here. This way, I have a convenient place to start trailing the fools.

After they frantically drove off, I turned to the girl.

"You're safe now..."
