One black shape darted through the sky.Two more followed.

"Cole,we'll catch up!"Came a voice on one of the later shapes.

There was a lot of laughing.

"Guys,don't race.This is important."A fourth,bigger black shape appeared in the sky.On it,a rider.

The rider of the first shape-a dragon-shrugged.

"Sure,Hiccup."

I went out of the portal and...fell face first into water.I quickly got up though.I saw what I expected.

Night.

Water.

And a zombie.

The zombie groaned,and I jumped,pulling out my sword.I made short work of the zombie.There were worst things around...like that Witherstorm.

Rory.

Longing squeezed my chest,and for a moment I thought of him dead.

No,he couldn't be.He wouldn't leave me like that.He would want to squeeze the life out of whatever brought us here...right?

Cue the mind songs.If...you know...your mind plays songs at random times.

It's been a long day...

"Hey!Aza!"

I turned back to the portal.It was Jesse.

Well,of course.It wasn't like I didn't reconise the voice.

"There was a zombie,but I took care of it."I said.

"But you can't just go through like that!"

"Why not?"

"We didn't know what could be out here!"

"You would let Axel go."

"No,I was going to get myself to go."

I opened my mouth to say something else,but shut it.I had nothing to say.

Axel came out after Jesse.Olivia and Lukas followed quickly.With Reuben.

"The temple must be around here."Jesse said.

Yes.It was.But after the Nether,I wasn't exactly in the mood for more walking.Besides,would it be suspicous if I suddenly found the temple?Maybe if I said I just guessed,but...

I remembered when I played Minecraft.Just normal Minecraft.On the first night,I would always just make a hole in a hill or mountain,maybe in the ground.So that's what I started to do.

Build a hole in the ground.Not straight down,but on a slope.

"What are you doing?"Olivia asked.

"Well,it's nightfall,and we need shelter.Do what you want,but I'm going in here."I answered,making the hole on the same level now.

Everyone helped.There was a door at the place where the ground was flat.Olivia didn't like it.She said and I quote;"We won't know what's there until it's knocking on our door."

Classic Olivia.

Jesse made a fire to make us warm.We all sat around it.

Axel got up and walked to the corner of the hole.

"Promise me you won't freak out when I tell you this."He demanded.

I knew what was going to happen.

"What.Is it?"Jesse asked,dread creeping into her voice.

"I...have cookies."Axel turned around,smiling and a cookie in his hand.

"One for me..."

"One for Olivia..."He gave one to Olivia.

Would both Lukas and I miss out?Maybe something else would happen?

Well,I could hear the Witherstorm and it could communicate with me.I could communicate with it.I didn't think the others could.Rory might've been able to.

"One for Reuben..."

"One for Jesse..."

What happened next suprised me.

"And one for Lukas..."

"Sorry,Aza,I only had five."He didn't sound very sorry.

I blinked at him.I felt like saying something.But I didn't.Instead,I felt left out.

Well,the characters from my favorite videogame left me out.I shouldn't have felt sad,though.I should've built a bridge and gotten over it.

Jesse's eyes caught mine,and I looked down.She hadn't started to eat her cookie yet.I probably wasn't as hungry as everyone else.

At the end of the day...

My mind paused.The next lyrics were and I'm glad that I'm here with some friends that I know.But I wasn't sure if they were my friends.Lukas,maybe.

"Here,have mine."Jesse offered,getting up and showing me her cookie.

"No,I can't..."I trailed off,

"I insist."

"...Thanks...Jesse..."I gingerly took the cookie.

I took a small bite.It was really good.It was like the ones that Annabeth made.She made cookies on Fridays after school...I would walk home with Rory...

"That was for you,Jesse,not her!"Axel scowled at me.

Jesse shrugged and went back to her spot.

"Que sera."I said with my mouth full.

I gobbled down the rest of the cookie,then realised that everyone was looking at me with a confused expression.

"Uh...it means...'whatever will be'..."I translated.

Everybody still looked confused.

"'Whatever happens,happens'"I translated again.

"Are you saying you don't care about this whole Witherstorm thing?"Axel challenged.

"When fate pulls it's strings,we can't change it.But we can change. the way things happen before it does."Wow,I sounded like some wise old person.

Axel grunted.

I had a weird dream that night.

In the darkness,there were two lights.One green.One blue.Both faint.Both square.

Pulse...pulse...pulse...

There was faint whispering.No,not whispering.Just shouts of glee.Very faint.It got a little louder,so I could hear the words.

"C'mon,Frostpaw!"

"I'll be there in a moment,Foxspirit..."

"Falconblaze says we have to go now!"

"I'll be there,in a moment."

Frostpaw?Falconblaze?Foxspirit?Were those names?If they were,they were weird.

Lucid dream?I knew I was dreaming,that was for sure.

Then there were different voices...

"Cole,get Hazel,we're going for a flight!"

"Uh...I don't know where she is..."

"Geez,Cole!"

"I'm sorry!"

"If you can't find her,she's probably flying on her own.You can fly with Toothless and I if you have to."

"Thanks Hiccup."

Hmm...

Blink blink blink...
