It's been two weeks...

Two weeks since she died

I still haven't move on. But I try; for her sake. Her funeral was special. The people of Magnolia were there.  Friends from other guilds. All of her loved one was there.

All except Natsu.

They still haven't return. It actually gave me relief that he was still not here. Nobody in the guild know how to break the news to him. After all.

She was his mate.

Yes. We knew that he loved him. We knew why he left on a mission that day. Yet we pretended not to. And I'm guilty because of that.

My bestfriend died; not even having the love of her life around.

That's right... I knew. I knew she loved him. And I know that he did too. But didn't tell her. She deserved to know.

And now. She's gone.

The guild wore smiles everyday. Everyone acted the way they were before she left. Nobody dared to say her name. Even the seller's outside didn't dare. They knew the impact it had on us.

Natsu... Where are you?

Natsu Pov

It's been two weeks since we went on a mission. I can't wait to get back home.

To her.

I saw the guild getting near. This is it! I can finally make her mine!

I just hope that she'll be happy.

Without hesitation I kicked open the doors.

"We're back everyone!"

"Natsu!"

Everybody shouted. They made their way towards us and started bombarding questions. While they did though. I looked around for a particular blonde celestial mage.

My Mate

But only; I didn't see her there. Seeing this I called out to my friend's attention. I needed to know where she is. I wan't to hug her so badly. I don't even know what I'll do without her.

She is my world.

"Hey guys." Everybody turned their heads towards me.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked.

At the mention of her name, Everybody flinched. Even Laxus.

Ok... Something's off here. What happened when I was gone.

"Where's my Mate?"

I asked once again, they looked away. But I did not miss the mixture of fear and sadness on their face.

"Natsu..." Levy called out, stepping forward. Away from the crowd. Her hand was clenched and placed on her chest. She looks.. Teoubled. I watched as her mouth move. But I was not prepared for what I heard next.

"She's dead."
