Darkness, something Natasha loved, was now something Steve dreaded. He missed his redheaded companion, and every night, tear drops shined in the dark, illuminating the shadows that surrounded him. Natasha had been kidnapped almost a week ago, and Clint had heard nothing.

Absolutely nothing......

Steve had resorted to what he did when she "died". Locking himself away like the sad coward he was inside. Natasha would scoff at him if she saw him, but that was what made him braver. Natasha was the reason he was fearless, scared of nobody, risking his life so she can have hers.  What was he to do without her? Mope? Cry? Listen to Tony complain outside his door?

Well, he did sketch.......

But it was always Natasha he saw....

Shrouded in his own misery, the captain could do nothing to lighten his spirits. He came only out to eat and sometimes briefly do missions, only to go back to his room.

Clint hated to see his best friend's boyfriend like this. He wanted to help his leader, but knew it would only cause misery.
The Vision, while doing his best to help, could not lighten the captain's mood. The red robot had never experienced the pain Steve was feeling. Anger, grief, where was the captain getting such feelings? The Vision had asked himself.
Bruce had even lied to the captain about Natasha liking him so he could get Steve to do something. Again, Steve wallowed in his own self pity, to weak to do anything.

It was a sad sight to see for team...

Natasha faired no better, she hated being the damsel in distress. "When is he finally going to get the message?" Natasha had whispered to herself one night, out of earshot from the ever watchful Ultron.

Oh how she missed the bright blue of Steve's eyes, his charming personality. She missed it all.
Natasha even missed the team! She even missed Tony(but don't tell him that)!
The redhead had often wondered if risking her life for a package she knew not was inside was worth it. It's worth it. It's worth it. You did it for the team, but more importantly, you did it for Steve. Natasha would repeat this over and over in her head, telling herself she was right.
Ultron was so close to completing his goal, and Natasha feared what destruction the silver robot would bring.
"You were supposed to protect the world, you...you monster!" She would yell at Ultron.
"Ah yes, monsters. Why don't we both be....monsters," the robot would respond," simple yet, powerful monsters...." Ultron would smile afterwards, leaving Natasha to growl in anger.
Natasha would get powerful migraines too, as if Ultron's stupid voice wasn't enough.

Steve had requested Wanda to try. At least try to reach out for her was the goal.
Wanda swore she could feel the strong walls Natasha had put up since their last encounter, but the assassin was to strong, and Wanda felt herself being wrenched from the redheads mind.
"To strong, to strong," she would whisper to Steve,"Natasha is to strong."
Letting out a fierce cry of rage, Steve slammed his fist into a wall, only to cringe in pain from the aftershock.
"I'll get her back, I will, I will...." Steve would say, though he knew he could never do it alone.
Steve wished he knew what to do, like he always did with Natasha.
The redheads disappearance left a hole which couldn't be filled with lies and code. He needed Natasha. He needed to find her

A/N: sorry for the week delay of WYO. So, to make up for it, I have written a extra long chapter just for you dear readers! And I will be posting it tomorrow night.

However, before I leave, I must clarify something. For those of you who know, my beta reader _toaster_cat_ , has not been online for a long time. This is because her parents threw her phone in the trash. Now they are getting her a flip phone. Toaster has a computer, but her parents might not let her on it a lot. So, until I get a clarification from Toaster if she is still my beta reader, I need a new one. As my beta reader, you will be in charge of finding any mistakes I may have missed while writing. My only requirement, you must be a active person on Wattpad.
