|A few days after Hinata Came to Konoha |

"Are you sure you need me ?"

He was caught a little off-guard.
Something as simple as this, he was sure that he wouldn't be needed at all.

But that doesn't seem like the case; in fact, he was needed greatly.

"Ok.. When do I start." he asked in his most serious tone ever.

When given his answer, he hung up his phone, then descended to the stars, and headed towards the kitchen, only to be greeted by dark orbs glaring at him skeptically.

"Who was that on the phone ?"

"Nothing that you should be concerned of Sasuke." He smiled innocently at his little brother.

Sasuke quickly dropped the subject, seeing that if it had nothing to do with him, why bother stressing over it ? But that wasn't the only reason he didn't ponder the subject; he had other things on his mind.

Itachi eyed his younger sibling. Something wasn't right, he could tell right away. Looking at him for a few seconds, Itachi can tell that he seemed more...confused and unsure,

Sasuke was never unsure of himself; he was too cocky and confident in everything.

"Something wrong ?" Itachi asked, only to see Sasuke flinch a little in his chair, by slight shock.

"I thought you left already." Sasuke said to him.

"Nope, I'm still here."

That was odd. Itachi thought. Sasuke was so wrapped up in his thoughts, he didn't even know that he was still standing there. He totally ignored his surroundings completely.

"You still didn't answer my question."

"Nothing." he answered simply, sounding a little irritated.

But, when isn't he irritated with his older brother ?

"Oh ? It did not seem like nothing when I scared you by only speaking."

"I wasn't scared!" Sasuke immediately shouted, only to receive a chuckle in return.

'He's too fun to mess with.' Itachi thought.

"Would you just leave me alone Itachi." he told him even more frustrated than before.

"Then tell me what's wrong first."

Sasuke eyed him, staring at Itachi for a good minute, furrowing his brows showing that he was being uncertain; that he was hesitant.

Now Itachi was really curious. The last time he has seen Sasuke so unsure of himself, was when he was only a child.

"Sasuke?"

"It's... Hinata."

Itachi arched a brow. His childhood friend ? Why all of a sudden was she in his thoughts. He remembered a time where Sasuke felt guilty for a reason he have never known; and that it had something to do with Hinata.
Is he still guilty ?
Was she still occupying his thoughts ?
Is it something... more ?

So I guess it's finally that time where he had to have that "talk" with Sasuke. He inwardly sighed to himself.

"Um.. Sasuke. I know that you..never really liked talking about these kinds of things, but I'm just going to cut to the chase."

Sasuke stared at him confused.

'What the hell is he talking about?' he thought to himself.

"Do you..feel weird, when you think about her.. Do you ever feel, well you know... tingly ?"

The question alone threw Sasuke off guard. At first, he stared at Itachi as if he grew a second head, but after processing what he had meant, seconds later he blushed furiously, causing Itachi to sigh out loud.

'I knew it.' Itachi thought.

"WHAT!" Sasuke shouted.

"Look, if you don't want to talk about i-"

"No it's not that you idiot! Hinata is here in Konoha!" he corrected his eldest brother.

Itachi let out a slight "oh" before Sasuke continued.

"She's the new transfer and she's... different."

"People change."

"No. It's more than that. She isn't sweet and kind, she didn't even want to speak to me and Tenten."

Sasuke paused. The thing he's going to say next, bothers him the most.

"But the thing that confuses me most is her disguise."

"A disguise ?"

That part really caught Itachi's attention.

"Yeah. I just don't understand why she needs one. And then she tells us that she has a new name. "Hina Yhugata", or whatever."

'Is she- ?' Itachi cut off his thoughts.

He stared at his little brother, it was a risk, but after putting the pieces together, he couldn't help but wonder.

"Sasuke."

"What is it?"

"It's suspicious isn't it? I mean, she shows up, with a new name and disguise, maybe it isn't just a coincidence."

"What are you getting at Itachi."

"I'm saying that she's hiding something. She must be running away from.. something."

"Yeah, but from what ?"

'Maybe..'

"I don't know yet." Itachi lied.

He did know, but he wasn't sure nor did he want to believe it.

"What's that suppose to mean, you come up with an idea, and then say "you don't know", what the heck."

Itachi walked slowly towards his brother.

"I just don't want to come up with the wrong idea."

"What is your idea anyway ?" the younger of the two, asked.

Itachi smiled his innocent smile, lift up his arm, then poke his index and middle finger on the top of Sasuke's forehead.

"I'll tell you later, little brother."

Sasuke glared wholes at his brother's back as he stalked away.

'I have to make sure; I need proof.'

I paced back and forth, phone in hand. I had gotten a terrifying phone call at 6:00 in the morning, yelling and shouting about things I could hardly understand. It didn't take me long to realize who it was, but after I comprehended what they were talking about I gotten sick to my stomach.

"Wait, can you say that one more time ?"

"Damnit Hinata, do I have to spell it out for you !? The P-O-L-I-C-E are after Y-O-U."

"I'm shocked, not stupid Hanabi."

"How can this be shocking ? I mean we both knew that they would show up sooner or later.."

"I knew it ! I just knew it. Okay Hinata, pack your bags, we are leaving now." Neji demanded.

Why does he seem more freaked out than I am ?

"No ! Wait Neji, calm down."

"Who said I wasn't calm?"

"Neji would you please shut up, and Hinata, what are we going to do?" Hanabi shouted on the phone.

"What are we going to do?! Obviously we are going to grab our belongings, clear any trace, and leave without looking back."

'But what about...'

"NO!!" me and Hanabi shouted in unison.

"No!?! And why is that!"

"Hinata, can you take me off of speaker, I don't want to hear his annoying voice anymore."

I did what she asked, and walked away from Neji, while he yelled protests about how much he isn't annoying. I went into my room and locked the door behind me.

"Hinata!! Open the door now!!"

"Okay Hanabi, what were you saying again?"

"So the cops showed up at the door, and they were looking for you, but I didn't tell them anything, so don't worry. You were lucky that father didn't open the door, or else everything would have ended badly."

More banging and screaming came from outside my room door.

"You do know that's my phone you have, right!?!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"I know you wouldn't say anything Hanabi, but we need to clear any evidence of you having any contact with me, so I want you to clear any phone records that could possibly lead to me. This may be Neji's phone, but that doesn't mean we can't be sure."

"Okay, I'm doing that now, and I will delete this conversation when we're done."

I head her say as her lightning speed tapping was heard through the phone.

"Where is father anyways?" I asked out of curiosity, since he wasn't the one who opened the door.

"Oh, he's out on a business trip, I don't know when he's coming back."

"Hm..What else ?" she asked.

"I know that they would want to search my room, so could you please check anything that I may have missed or left behind, and then get rid of it?"

"Of course."

"Is that all we can do?"Hanabi asked moments later.

"The more I keep hiding, the more suspicious I look. I know that when father comes back from his business trip, the police will ask him questions about me. And he knows where I am, he's not going to lie to them about my location; especially since I am a suspect."

"Father will get you a lawyer." Hanabi tried to reassure me.

"Will he ? I mean, will he really hire a lawyer for his guilty daughter ?!"

"He doesn't kno-"

"But once the police talks to him, he's going to put the pieces together; he isn't an idiot Hanabi, I stoll money from his case! I left without saying any-"

"Hinata shut up!!"

It was like time frozen itself. All we could hear was each other's breathing from both phones.

Then, I heard a sniffle on the other line.

"Stop talking like you're going to leave me." Hanabi whispered with a hoarse tone in her voice.

"Please Hinata. I'm not saying that you are innocent, or..or that you deserve it either, but the thought of you, being locked up forever is.. I wouldn't be able to stand it." I heard more sniffs coming from her end, and I felt the burning tears on the brim of my eyes.

"But..fath-"

"Forget about father!! He doesn't know, and even if he did he doesn't have proof either!"

I could hear the crack in her voice; she sounds so close to her breaking point.

But she's right. All father and the police would have are just a bunch of assumptions until I tell them the truth.

"I'm sorry, please stop crying Hanabi."

"Wh-who said that I was crying?"
I chuckled a little bit. "I can here you."

"Hearing isn't the same as seeing."

"Ok ok, you wasn't crying. . . Don't worry, we will figure this out."

"Okay, bye. I love you."

"Love you too Hanabi."

She ended the call. I held the phone close to my chest; holding it tight as if my life depended on it. I held back my tears, but they willingly fell on their own. I wiped my face as I sat down on my bed, and that's when it started.

I broke down.

I was scared.

I am scared.

What's going to happen now? I silently hoped that I wouldn't have to worry about all of this so soon, but I knew deep down that time doesn't wait for no one.

I heard knocking on the door, and I forgot about Neji.

"Go away." I said, trying my hardest to sound like I haven't been crying.

I heard the hedges on the door squeak, as footsteps walked closer towards me. I slightly felt my bed move as he sat down.

"Neji please. Go away."

I felt him put his hand on my back, and rubbed in circles.

"Well too bad, I'm not Neji."

I widen my eyes in shock.

"Naruto ?"

Im actually pretty proud of myself because it didnt take me over 2 months to do it either 😎😎

Thats pretty sad now that i think about it, im too lazy and im letting my peoples down 😞
