I immediately told Tony and Ryan about Isabella's call when my family left. Pati sila ay nagulat sa sinabi ko. Hindi inaasahan na gagawin ni Timothy iyon.

"Ano na ang gagawin mo kung ganoon, Zach?" Tanong ni Ryan.

Napapikit ako nang dahil doon. I actually have nothing planned! I desperately want to do something pero hindi ko alam kung ano! All I wanted to do is to stop Timothy from proposing to Sam!

She doesn't belong to him! She belongs to me!

She made a promise that she'll marry me. Kahit na alam kong wala siyang naaalala na kahit ano, I know that deep within her, she remembers the promise that she made for me not long ago.

"I need to talk to her again." I said.

"How are you going to do that?" Tony asks. I ran my fingers through my hair because that question made me clueless again.

"I-I don't know! Maybe I should follow her again?"

"You can't keep on doing that. You already told us that you think that she finds you creepy. Baka kung gagawin mo ulit iyon, mas lalo na siyang matakot sa'yo!" ani Ryan.

"What am I gonna do huh? Let Timothy propose to her? No, I can't!"

Nagpakawala ng malalim na hininga si Ryan nang dahil sa sinabi ko. I hope he understands why I'm this desperate. Hindi ko lang kayang hayaan lahat ng pinagpaguran ko sa wala. I didn't work this hard for her to just let her fall for someone else.

Or worse, let her get engaged to someone else.

I know I wanted to make her happy. But how am I going to do that when I know that she's going to be happy with someone else? I want her to be happy with me. I want her to be with me.

Losing Cindy is like losing my life. But losing Sam, it's like losing everything. If I lose her, I have nothing left. Walang matitira para sa sarili ko. My world revolves around her because she's all that matters to me. I made her my world at hindi ko hahayaang mapunta ang mundo ko sa iba.

I seriously don't know what to do kaya hinayaan ko nalang ang sarili ko na gumawa ng kung ano kahit hindi ako siguradong gagana ito. I tried reaching to her through Facebook but it seems that she's not using her account all the time. Kaya nag isip ako ng ibang pupwedeng gawin.

Katulad ng nakasanayan ko nitong mga nakaraang linggo, nagpunta ako sa kung saan nakatira si Sam. Sakto naman at pagkarating ko ay mukhang aalis siya. They're currently getting their car ready at mukhang siya nalang itong hinihintay.

Where is she going? Kasama niya ba si Timothy?

Sam went out of the door with her hair wet. Pinapatuyo niya pa ito gamit ang isang towel at nang matapos ay may kumuha nito para sakanya. She smiled at her. Ganoon rin ang ginawa sakanya ng babae.

I saw her mouthed "sorry" to the driver dahil mukhang kanina pa siya hinihintay nito. Nakita ko namang tumango iyong driver at tsaka pumasok na sa loob ng kotse. Sam waved goodbye to the girl who reached for her towel at tsaka pumasok na rin sa kotse.

Agad ko ring pinaandar ang kotse ko at naghanda na para sundan si Sam sa kung saan man siya pupunta ngayon. Mukha namang malapit lang ang pupuntahan nila dito. I wonder where she's going.

Binuksan ng mga gwardya ang gate at agad rin namang lumabas doon ang kotse kung saan nakasakay si Sam. Sinundan ko rin agad sila. I maneuvered my car and keep my eye on Sam's car.

And I was right. Hindi nga gaano kalayo ang pinuntahan ni Sam. They stopped in front of a bookstore. I bet she's going to buy a new book. Baka natapos na niyang basahin lahat ng nasa bookshelves nila doon. I smiled to myself.

I stopped beside their car. Nang bumaba siya ay may sinabi siya sa kanyang driver. Binaba ko ng kaunti ang bintana upang marinig ang sinasabi niya. Such a stalker move.

"Itetext ko nalang po kayo kapag uuwi na po ako." She smiled. "Salamat po!"

Walang ano-ano pa'y pumasok na siya sa loob ng bookstore. Nawala lang ang tingin ko sakanya nang may biglang bumusina sa likod ko.

"Tumabi ka naman!" Narinig kong sigaw nito.

I came to my senses again at tsaka pinark na ang sasakyan ko malapit sa bookstore. Hinintay ko na munang makaalis ang sasakyan nila Sam bago ako tuluyang bumaba ng kotse ko. I went inside the bookstore and was surprised to see how big it was.

Malamig dito dahil kakaunti lang ang tao. A few of them were checking the books out very seriously. Isa si Sam doon. She went to the Romance section. Sumunod naman ako sakanya doon.

I pretended to be looking at the books but the truth is I was watching her every move. He grabbed a book entitled "It Ends With Us". I smirked.

Yeah, I'm going to make that happen. It's going to be us in the end. Napailing nalang ako nang dahil sa naisip.

She checks the book out at mukhang nagustuhan niya ito dahil hindi na niya ito binitawan. She proceeded to another section of Romance novels. Sumunod naman muli ako. And as usual, I pretended to be checking the books out.

Mamaya maya pa ay may nakita akong babae na kanina pa siya tinitingnan. I raised my brows. Nang hindi na makayanan ang paninitig ay lumapit na siya rito.

"Samantha Enriquez?"

My eyes widened. The girl recognized her! Agad akong kumuha ng libro at nagkunwaring may binabasa. I peeked, tinitingnan kung ano ang naging reaksyon ni Sam. She didn't turn to the girl maybe because she thought that her name wasn't Sam.

The girl called out to her again. This time, she turned. Noong una ay akala niya kung sino ang tinatawag nito kaya siya napalingon sa kanyang likuran at nang mapagtantong siya pala iyong tinatawag ay kinakabahan siyang ngumiti.

"Oh my god! I'm such a huge fan!" Malaki ang ngiti ng babae sakanya. Sam looks really confused.

"Ang tagal mong nawala sa mga magazine covers! I've been waiting for some new release kaso iyong pinaka latest ay last year pa!" The girl pouted. Hindi naman nakasagot si Sam dahil mukhang nagugulohan parin siya.

"Can I take a picture with you?" The girl asks. Sam looks surprised with her request.

"Uh... S-Sure..." Sagot niya. Tumingin siyang muli sa likod niya habang inihahanda nung babae ang kanyang camera. Nang iharap nung babae ang camera sakanila ay pilit siyang napangiti.

"Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting to see you here!" Nagagalak na sinabi noong babae. "How are you and Zachary Dela Merced nga pala? Are you two still together?"

My mouth parted with her question. Oh no.

Samantha's forehead creased. "I'm sorry?"

"Zachary Dela Merced! Your long term boyfriend!" Sam's mouth parted, mukhang hindi makapaniwala doon sa sinabi noong babae.

"O-Oh! We're f-fine... I guess."

Tumango iyong babae. "I see. Haven't seen you two together since last year. Everyone thought you broke up that's why I'm really glad to know that you two are fine."

Hindi na sumagot si Sam at sa halip ay ngumiti nalang siya rito.

"You can check the books out again. I'm sorry for bothering you. I'll go ahead now. Thank you so much again." At iyon na ang huling sinabi ng babae bago siya tuluyang lumabas.

Sam let out a deep sigh at tsaka umiling bago binalik muli ang sarili sa pag tingin ng mga libro. Nang walang mapaginteresan ay umakyat siya sa susunod na palapag na kung saan mas marami pang libro. Sumunod ako doon.

She went to the classic novels section. Oh, yes! That's your favorite, baby. You're on the right track.

I saw her eyeing some books. Nakita ko naman ang isang kopya ng To Kill A Mockingbird doon. I went near her to grab that copy at tsaka binuksan ito. I read some lines.

"I don't believe in magic. The young boy said. The old man smiled. You will, when you see her." When I finished reading the line, I turned to her seriously. She's already looking at me with her mouth opened when I turned to her.

She smiled a little. "That's a very nice line."

Tumango ako upang sumangayon. "I know. And this book is great. I suggest for you to read that."

I handed her the book at walang pag-aalinlangan niya naman itong kinuha sa akin. She checks the book out at tsaka isinama na ito sa mga unang librong kinuha niya. I smiled and insert both of my hands inside my pockets.

"Thanks," she said at tsaka lumakad na palayo. My eyes widened.

Oh, not so fast!

"Hey," tawag ko. Nilingon niya naman ako. "I often see you around nowadays huh." I smiled cockily at her.

"Yeah, I know. It's weird." She chuckled lightly. Tumawa rin ako.

"Oh, by the way... Someone went to me a while ago and she mentioned your name and... she also mentioned the name you keep on calling me before. I just thought that she was mistaken and-" dagdag niya na agad ko rin namang pinutol.

"She's not."

Mabilis siyang napaangat ng tingin sa akin. Surprise is evident on her face.

"H-How?"

"You don't remember anything, right?" Dahan dahan siyang tumango. "Do you want to remember everything?"

"Of course! But the thing is my head keeps on aching every time I try to do that. It just doesn't make sense."

"I'll make you remember things slowly. Sam, I was a part of your past. I'm a big part of your memory. I know everything about you and I'm not going to lie about it."

Napakagat siya ng kanyang labi. Tila ba pinag-iisipan ang sasabihin.

"I have something that will make you remember everything."

"And what is that?"

"Are you willing to come with me?" Fuck. I sound really desperate.

"I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"I don't trust you."

My jaw clenched because of that. She. Doesn't. Trust. Me.

"Just trust me this time. I promise I won't let anything bad happen to you. I will not do anything bad to you. Ipapaalala ko lang sa'yo ang lahat."

Her mouth parted. She's looking at me like she wants to give in. She bit her lip at tsaka nag-iwas ng tingin.

"Can you promise that?" She asks. I chuckled lightly.

"Sam, lahat ng pangako ko sa'yo, tinutupad ko."

She paused for a while. Nang mag-angat siya ng tingin, I see desperation in her eyes, too. She's desperate to know the truth.

"Okay. I'll go with you." Napangiti ako nang dahil doon.
