I remember the day that I planned for the proposal. She really has no idea what's about to happen.

I keep myself busy all the time because I really want my proposal to be perfect—no matter how much it costs. What matters is that she'll say yes.

She has to! I mean, wala na siyang ibang choice. If she'll say no, I'll force her to say yes. But that's impossible to happen, right? I can see it in her eyes that she's expecting for a proposal every time we spend time together outside or inside the apartment.

Si Ian ang nag-suggest sa akin na gawin ang proposal sa araw ng Super Bowl. It's a great idea, to be honest. Imagine one of the biggest games in my life will also be one of the greatest days of my life if ever she'll say yes.

Pero kabaligtaran ang nangyari. It's one of the worst days of my life—worst because I saw her bleeding to death. Her face was barely recognizable. There are so many bruises on her face and body.

It's even a miracle that she's still alive today even though she's in a coma. At lagi akong nagpapasalamat sa Panginoon dahil hindi niya hinahayaang mawala si Sam sa akin.

Ryan and Tony were one of the few people who knows about the proposal. They even helped me plan everything. Tony gave me one of the best event organizers in the country. While Ryan was the one who chose what ring I should be giving Sam. Talagang hindi na alintala sa akin ang magiging gastos ng lahat. Being with her is worth more than a million.

Ngumiti ako nang makita kong pinapasok na nila sa loob ng stadium ang lahat ng gagamitin para sa proposal mamaya. Everyone is thinking that it's just part of the half time performance later. But they have no idea that it was for me.

The organizer smiled at me when she saw me staring at them. Lumapit siya sa akin.

"Are you ready?" She asks.

"I couldn't be more ready." I said. I sighed and bit my lip.

Kakasabi lang sa akin ni Sam kanina na papunta na siya ng airport. I hope she'll make it on time. I mean, I can delay the proposal if she arrives late. I can wait.

But the thing is, I waited but she didn't arrive.

Kada minuto ko ata tinitingnan ang singsing na ibibigay ko sakanya. I'm just really paranoid. Baka kahit anong oras pwedeng mawala iyon sa bulsa ko. Baka wala pa akong maibigay sakanya!

Planning for the proposal became one of the busiest days of my life! Umabot pa sa punto na nag-tatampo na sa akin si Sam.

"You rarely spend your time with me." She pouted then she crossed her arms.

Kung may idea lang talaga siya kung saan ako busy, baka hindi siya nag-tatampo sa akin ngayon. I tried reaching for her arm pero inilayo niya sa akin ito. I chuckled.

"Come on," I said. Umiling siya at inirapan ako. I tried reaching for her arm again but she did the same. She did not let me.

"You know that Super Bowl is getting nearer, right? And I have to double my time for the trainings and some stuff."

"What stuff?" She asked habang nakataas ang isang kilay.

"Do you really have to know?"

Tiningnan niya ako na parang hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi ko. She tried to laugh. She looks away, kind of insulted. Ngumisi ako.

"Ahh! So, hindi ko pala kailangang malaman no?"

Tumawa ako. She's cute when she's mad. Sometimes I want her to get mad at me all the time pero hindi ko rin natitiis. She'll ignore me and act like I don't exist.

"Baka matuwa ka kapag nalaman mo."

"Then why won't you tell it to me? Alam mo naman palang matutuwa ako!" She pouted. She rolled her eyes on me.

Don't get too excited, baby. Baka pag sinabi ko sa'yo, hindi na surprise 'yun.

"Relax! You'll know it soon." Umirap siyang muli sa akin. I tried reaching for her again and this time, she let me.

I immediately moved closer to her and wrapped my arms around her kahit na mukhang nagtatampo parin siya.

My baby wants to spend some time huh? Then we'll spend some time.

Pinatakan ko siya ng halik sa likod ng kanyang tainga. Agad siyang napalingon sa akin dahil sa ginawa ko. Nang makita niyang nakangisi ako ay inirapan niyang muli ako at iniwas ng tingin sa akin.

I sucked on her neck this time. Almost putting a hickey on her neck. I continued what I'm doing.

"Still going to ignore me?"

"Y-Yeah," she said, almost moaning.

She's not going to give in so fast huh? My baby is trying to be so hard to get today.

"What about this?" I kissed the side of her lips to tease her.

Samantha beamed at me and this time she's the one who started kissing me on my neck. Woah! I wasn't expecting that! I didn't know she's capable of doing this to me. She's making my head go crazy!

I'll be honest when I say that there are times when I wanted to give in and make love to her. I mean, she's irrisistable. I wanted her to feel my love completely.

But then, I always remember the promise I made before. We'll do it once we get married. Kaya sa oras na umoo siya sa akin, papakasalan ko siya agad. Because I can't freaking wait!

She can't keep on teasing me like this! I'll probably sweat in my pants if this will keep on happening.

I made her stop kissing me on my neck. Times up, Samantha. Ako naman. I smirked at her before I smashed my lips into her. My hands immediately went to her breast and I caressed it gently.

"Ah, Zach!"

She was breathing heavily that she can't help but grind on me. Ugh! I swear this can't keep on happening! I want to marry her now!

If we'll continue on doing this, I might break my promise. I know that promises are meant to be broken. Pero iba ako. I'm a man of my words.

I chuckled.

"Tutuparin ko ang lahat ng gusto mo, Sam. That's why if you want to spend time together, then we'll spend time together."

She smiled at me again and nodded.

"This is what you call spending time huh?" Aniya na medyo hinahapo pa. Inipit ko ang mga takas ng kanyang buhok sa likod ng kanyang tainga. I caressed her cheeks.

"Make sure you'll marry me, okay?"

Ang kanyang mga mata na nakatingin sa aking labi kanina ay umagat ngayon sa aking mga mata. She licked her lips before she answered.

"Okay..." She said sweetly.

She wrapped her arms around my neck at tsaka niyakap ako ng mahigpit. She rests her head on my shoulder. I smiled. I kissed her shoulders and hugged her back.

These are the moments that I reminisced before I received one of the most terrible news in my life.
