Attacked (Part 2)

"They're gone!" I exclaim, as the vortexes close.

"Oh don't worry about them." Shigaraki says, waving his hand, "Dabi promised to kill them quickly."

"You can't kill them!" Ashido argues, "They're some of our strongest classmates!"

"That's why they separated them from us!" Yaoyorozu exclaims, "They aren't trying to kill them, they're trying to kill us!" She creates an iron pole, and gets in a battle stance.

"Look at that, the pretty little lady has us almost figured out. But that's not quite it." The white-haired man snaps his fingers, laughing. Kurogiri sighs, and reaches behind him into the portal. He grabs two people, and pulls them out, both are tied up, one is gagged. A pink haired woman with black cat ears and a tail, along with golden amber eyes and fair skin, she has a gag on. She winces at the grip. The other is a man with snow white hair, and emerald green eyes. He yelps.

The blue haired woman and black haired man, uh... Katelyn and Zane I think their names are, gasp.

"Nana!" Zane exclaims.

"Travis!" Katelyn gasps. 

"Oh, so you recognize these two? Hmm?" Shigaraki laughs, "Perhaps if you come quietly we'll let them go."

"You bastard!" Katelyn yells, rolling up her sleeves and marching towards them.

"Ah, ah, ah, you wouldn't want them to get hurt, would you?" Shigaraki wraps his fingers, except his middle one, around the white haired guy's throat, but Katelyn doesn't stop.

"Wait!" I run over to her.

"Get out of the way kid!" She yells.

"Hold on, Shigaraki's quirk is called Decay, if he put's that last finger on you friend he's going to crumble into dust!" I hiss at her, and she goes pale, but stops.

I see the orange haired girl, Lucinda I think, holding her staff, in a battle position.

"Zane!" The pink haired cat girl cries, and Zane turns even paler then he was before. 

I look around, trying to figure out what to do. What would Deku do in a situation like this? 

...He would get Tsu to use her tongue to get them away, but Tsu isn't here... so that's out of the question.

I look at my classmates, then at the villains.

Shigaraki and Kurogiri are the only ones here, I'm guessing the others are trying to take out Deku, Bakugo, Todoroki, Tsu, and the Lycans. 

"Well?" Shigaraki prompts, I look around, and my eyes land on a floating pair of clothes. 

Toru Hagakure.

A crazy idea forms in my head, and I quickly move over to her.

"Toru, I have an idea."

Dammit, I can't believe I let Arnoux take such a risk.

I didn't see what happened, but I can only assume he hit a real person because I think he's having an Anxiety Attack.

"What's going on? What's wrong with Arnoux?" Taiya runs over. I push her away

"He's having an Anxiety Attack, give him space." I order, kneeling beside my son.

"He's scared? What a wimp, the fight is over." The blond, Bakugo, crosses his arms.

"He's not scared!" Taiya defends, "Just nervous!"

"About what? Again the fight is over." Bakugo retorts.

"Uh, Mrs Lycan, I heard Toga, one of the villains, scream. Did... did Arnoux do something?" The green haired boy, Midoriya, pipes up nervously.

"Don't worry about it." I respond, almost immediately, "We just have to get back quickly." 

"How can't we?! He can barely breathe!" Midoriya exclaims.

"He can breathe just fine Midoriya," Todoroki, the boy with red and white hair, puts his hand on Midoriya's shoulder, "it's called an Anxiety Attack, he feels like he can't breathe, when he can."

"How do you know?" Bakugo glares at him.

"That's not important-"

"He's had them before, obviously." Taiya interrupts Todoroki.

"How do you know?" Todoroki narrows his eyes.

"There are some things in life you can't understand without going through them yourself, and Anxiety Attacks are one of them." Taiya replies, "But that isn't important right now. We need to get back."

"How? We're miles away from our original location!" Midoriya exclaims.

"We can't leave yet anyway, we have to calm Arnoux first." Aph says, "Moving him in this state could make things worse."

I nod in agreement.

"How are we supposed to calm him down then?" Midoriya asks.

Nobody says anything. I wait for the question that one of them is going to ask, because I know they're going to ask it.

"It'll be hard to calm him down without knowing why he's like this," Todoroki says, "Do you mind telling us what exactly may have caused him to be like this?" He voices the one question everyone was waiting for, or wanted to know.

"As if we would tell you, you-" 

"Taiya," Aph stops her, "it's a fair question."

"Right... sorry Mom..." she mutters.

"It's alright Kaiya." Aph smiles, as we both notice the change in our daughter's demeanor.

"Holy shit, is her name Taiya or Kaiya? Make up your mind." Bakugo exclaims.

"Hey... this is kind of a random question, but... well, I overheard a conversation between Ameri and Arnoux, about his eyes, and... when I asked him about it, he said to talk to his sisters, d-do you have daughters?" Midoriya asks, suddenly.

"...Yes, Kaiya is our daughter. We used to have another... but..." Aph trails off.

"...she passed on..." Kaiya says quietly.

"...what... what was your other daughter's name?" He asks.

Everyone is silent, before Kaiya speaks up.

"Taiya. Her name is Taiya." 

"Is? Didn't you just say she died?" Bakugo crosses his arms.

"But you were also calling Kaiya, Taiya." Todoroki says.

The three of them are silent for a few moments, and Taiya smirks.

"Figured it out yet? Or should I just tell you?" She asks, crossing her arms.

"Taiya died, but came back to life as a Ghost, didn't she?" Midoriya says, "When she came back, Kaiya agreed to share her body with her sister, and that's why you alternate between names, depending on how the body acts." 

Everyone is quiet.

"I'm... surprised you figured that out all on your own." I say finally.

"That's Midoriya for you." Todoroki sighs.

"So, what's wrong with his eyes?" Midoriya asks.

Kaiya glances at me for permission. I nod my head.

"They figured out this much, I doubt we could hide it much longer." I sigh.

"Okay, I'll tell you, but you have to promise that you won't tell anyone else. This is a secret that has to stay between us." Kaiya turns to the three.

"Can we tell Tsu? I feel like she deserves to know too." Midoriya says.

"The frog girl? Fine, but make sure she doesn't tell anyone either. What I'm about to tell you is a huge secret, that our lives depend on." She replies.

The three nod.

"...It's a curse. There's a legend where we come from, the legend of the Ultima Werewolf, the first werewolf to ever exist. I won't tell you the story, but the Ultima was, and still is, considered a monster by society. This monster had children, and his bloodline has been passed down, only to males, for generations." Kaiya starts explaining, "Aaron, Dad... he's an Ultima, or... was at least. When Mom had Ameri and Arnoux, Arnoux inherited the curse, and Dad has been teaching him to control his eyes. An Ultima's descendant can turn someone into a werewolf, though either a bite or eye contact with red eyes. They both hurt immensely, but the difference is that turning through the eyes, is deadly. In order to help everyone, Arnoux probably decided to take off his bandanna in front of the villains to scare them away. The clones all got hit, but I guess he wasn't expecting to actually hit a real person..." 

"And that's what the scream was." Todoroki finishes, "He made eye-contact with Toga, and turned her. Now he's upset because he thinks he killed her." 

During all this, I noticed Arnoux calming down, bit by bit, before he was breathing normally. My son slowly uncurled himself, and tightened his bandanna.

"I killed her..." he whispers hoarsely, "even if she was evil, she was still a human being, and I've killed her..." 

"Arnoux... you know eye-contact doesn't always kill, we've talked about this." I gently reassure him. I hold my hand out, and help him stand as he nods quietly. 

"How are we getting back?" He asks.

"I might have an idea..." Aph says, "But it's not very subtle." 

"Whatever, we just gotta get back. The others are probably getting their asses handed to them right now." Bakugo says.

"Kacchan! That's not very nice!" Midoriya exclaims.

Aphmau smiles a bit.

"Just hold on tight."

Tsuyu (BEST GIRL)

The way back was a lot farther then I originally thought, but thanks to the train I managed to hop on, it didn't take as long as normal. 

Ameri started to wake up on the train. 

"Ugh... what happened?" He asks, sitting up. 

"You passed out after making that barrier, ribbit." I explain, "We're on our way back to your apartment. Your family and the others stayed behind to finish off the villains." 

"W-we left them behind?" He asks worriedly.

"They'll be fine. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo are some of our strongest classmates, and your family seems pretty strong too." I assure him. He nods, and leans back in his seat.

"How far away are we?" He asks.

"We should be there soon, ribbit. But we still have to run to the apartment." I reply.

He nods, and as if on cue the train slows to a halt. We hop off, and leave the station.

"Here, get on my back." Ameri says, kneeling down.

"Huh? Why?" I ask. 

"Because I can turn into a wolf and carry us there. Don't worry, I can control the size, so I won't be a huge one." He explains. I nod, and climb onto his back. Almost immediately, he turns into a wolf. Big, but not huge. He takes off, running down the street. 

It takes us ten minutes to get back.

Toru

After Uraraka explained the plan, I was immediately on board. 

"Psst, Ojiro, can you hide me with your tail?" I ask quietly. 

"Yeah, but why?" He tilts his head.

"Just do it, I'm going full on invisible." I tell him, he nods, and lifts his tail up in front of me as I quickly take my clothes off. I know it sounds weird, but that's what I did. 

"Alright, I'm good." I tell him. Ojiro nods, and lowers his tail. I sneak to the edge of the crowd, and go up to the villains.

Oh my God this is terrifying, even if I'm invisible.

The pink haired cat lady is closer to me, so I tiptoe up to her. This is one of the few times I'm glad I'm unnoticeable. 

Her ears twitch as I approach, and her eyes move in my direction, confusion filling them. 

I quietly take a deep breath, ball up my fists, and punch Shigaraki right in his face. 

Um... as close as I can get to his face, with that hand thing in the way.

He still fells it though, as he yelps and let's go of the girl. I grab her arm and run back into the crowd. 

Kurogiri doesn't react, but our class looks confused, before Mina realizes it.

"Hah! Looks like you forgot about Toru! Our helpful invisible classmate!" She cheers. 

"Hmph, fools." Shigaraki grumbles. Kurogiri opens a portal.

"Who?" The mist man asks. 

Everyone is confused, but then we're quickly interrupted by yelling. 

"GIANT WOLF COMING THROUGH! LOOK OUT, RIBBIT!" 

None other then Tsuyu Asui, riding a giant wolf, that stops suddenly, causing Tsu to go flying, right into Kurogiri, knocking him away from the white haired guy, and the wolf turns into Ameri. 

"Uncle Travis!" He yells.

"The frog girl, for so rudely interrupting us." Shigaraki says, "And we'll take the cat girl back as well. Hmm... and how about that little brown haired brat?" 

Then a million things happen at once. 

Ameri runs towards the white haired guy, whose name is apparently Travis, Zane helps the pink haired girl get the gag off, but a portal opens underneath her, and she falls through screaming. The same thing happens to Uraraka and Tsu, both of them screaming. Kurogiri pushes Travis back into the portal behind them, and Shigaraki follows them back in. 

This all happens so fast, nobody in the class has the reaction time to do anything, and Ameri lands on his face. 

Everyone is stunned at what happened, and everything falls quiet.
