"Adam!"

"Adam! Are you daydreaming again?"

His eyes opened, he smiled, Felicia matching it. She crawled into his lap, his arms going around her. He kissed her head.

"Do you really have to go? You could stay here a bit longer, the King probably won't mind." She said. Adam's eyes look down at her.

"As much as I would love to stay here with you, the Squid King has been attacking villages lately, so I have to do something about it." He said. She sighed, her arms went around his waist, sneaking under his shirt. He smiled, feeling his skin warm up under her touch. They both are just outside of the Blackwell castle, in a small house.

"Be careful, okay?" She asked. Adam nodded.

"I know. I know. I will." He said. She gets off him, they both stand up, Felicia grabbed Adam's hand when he tried to leave, stopping him.

"Hey, you forgot something." She said. Adam looked at her.

"Oh, right," Adam said. He turned around, his hand lifting up her chin, kissing her. She returned it, her hand grabbing his shirt, pulling him closer.

"Get a room you two." A voice said making Adam break the kiss and look over at the door seeing Ian leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed.

"Hey, Ian," Adam said. Felicia looks at him.

"Hey, we don't say anything when you are kissing your girlfriend." She said. She let go of Adam, kissing his cheek.

"Wait, Ian has a girlfriend?" Adam joked. Ian smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Yes, I do. Come on, we have to leave now. Max is impatient. We'll be back in a couple of days." He said. Adam looked at Felicia. She smiled a bit and looked at Ian.

"Make sure he comes back alright." She said. Ian nodded. Adam chuckled.

"Weird, his girlfriend said the same thing to me about him," Adam said. She looked at him.

"Well, you two can be reckless when you are together. Throwing Max into the mix only makes it worse." She said. Ian shrugged his shoulders.

"Can't argue with that. Come on." Ian said. She let go of Adam's arm, watching him leave, she waved bye and he waved back.

Felicia woke up, her eyes opened, she smiled to herself. 'I remember that day. It was days before Adam came back, telling me to leave the Kingdom when right before the Squid King took over the Blackwell Kingdom.' She thought. Her eyes looked at him. She picked her head up, her hand resting on top of his, he's resting on a bed, she sitting beside the bed, her arms resting on the mattress beside his hand. She rested her head back down on her arms, waiting for him to wake up. Her eyes water, her hand gripped his. 'All he did was protect me, he didn't deserve to be.....used like that. And now everyone hates him, thinking he is one of them when he isn't." She thought. Her eyes looked at Adam, she smiled, her thumb caressing his hand gently. She closed her eyes, wiping her tears away.

"Felicia." A voice spoke. Felicia picked her head up.

"Oh, um sorry." She said looking at Alesa. Her eyes widen. "Alesa, I thought you—" She gave her a small smile, walking over to her.

"No. No, I made it out. How is he?" Alesa asked walking over. Felicia looked at Adam.

"The doctor looked at him, he has a fractured arm, probably a concussion from the blow to the head he took, his right ankle is a bit swollen and he has scarred tissue almost everywhere. He hasn't woken up yet either. He's...He's in terrible condition." She said as her eyes watered at the end. Alesa looked at Adam.

"Yeah, I was expecting that. Ian said he takes a lot of abuse from the Squid King that are meant for the citizens, but he only took it so the citizens wouldn't get hurt." Alesa said. Felicia looked at Alesa.

"Really? I-I didn't know that. But is Ian okay? I haven't seen him in a long time." Felicia said.

"Miranda, Max, and Ian are here. I can take you to them. Ian is hurt pretty bad, so is Max. But Miranda can come to you, she asked about Adam already." Alesa said. Felicia looked at Adam.

"Can you? I know Miranda may seem like she is against us, but she isn't. I know she cares about Adam, deep down in her empty soul." She said. Alesa smiled.

"Alright, I'll be right back. She is in an interrogation room." She said before she left. Felicia looked at Adam again. She rested her head back down on her arms.

"I'll be right here when you wake up." She mumbled.

"Sooo...You didn't expect to get caught?" Sky asked Miranda. She looked at Sky.

"What I didn't expect was for you to catch me." She said. Sky smiled a bit. Jasper looked at Miranda.

"He's a lot tougher than he looks." He said. Miranda glanced at Jasper, looking back at Sky.

"And what do you want? I've been interrogated already by Mitchell and Minecraftia Jerome. And my lips have been sealed—"

"I want to make you a deal, you tell us what we want and I promise you that we will rescue your brother." Sky said. Miranda tensed up, staring at Sky.

"You can't, he's....he's unreachable." She said. Jason smiled a bit. Sky looked at Jason.

"What do you think?" Sky asked him. Jason crossed his arms, looking at Sky.

"I've learned not to doubt you. I bet you could reach him." He said. She looks at Jason.

"And how will he?" She asked. Sky looked at her.

"I have my ways. But you can trust my word that we'll make sure to get him out of there. That is the only reason you are doing what the Squid King says, right?" Sky asked. Miranda looked away, staring at the table. Sky rested his arms on the table. "Miranda, I know that you don't have any reason to trust me. But this isn't the first time that I had to rescue someone, he'll be fine. Just tell us how and we'll do it." She looked at him.

"If the King found out I helped you, he'll kill him. And he is the last family I have, so I can't take that risk." She said.

"Which is why he won't found out it came from you. We are gonna attack the Squid King either way. And if will make it easier to rescue him if you talked to us. Because even if you don't cooperate, I am gonna make sure your brother is rescued either way." He said. She shook her head.

"No, I'm not putting his life in danger like that. He—" The door opened, they looked at Alesa. Alesa looked at Miranda.

"Um, Felicia wants to talk to her. She's with Adam and—"

"Is he okay?" Miranda asked her. Alesa nodded.

"I mean, he's okay." She said. Sky leaned back in his seat.

"Jasper, uncuff her, you can go and talk to Felicia. But my offer is still up for you if you change your mind." Sky said. Jason uncrossed his arms and Jasper uncuffed her. Miranda chuckled and shakes her head.

"You are way too trusting, letting me walk free without guards," Miranda said to him. Sky shrugged his shoulders.

"I've been told." He said before she gets up, following Felicia. Mitchell comes in, he looks at Sky.

"Dude, what the hell? She is gonna escape—"

"She won't because she won't try." Sky said.

"And how do you know that?" Mitchell asked him.

"Because she knows she can't rescue Matt without our help and that is all she wants. So she wouldn't turn away my offer so easily." Sky said. Mitchell crossed his arms.

"And what logic is that?" He asked. Before Sky could answer, Jasper, cut him off.

"Oh, that's Commander Sky logic." Jasper said. Sky looked at him.

"That's what?" He asked.

"That's what the recruits call your plans and tactics. Because of how outrageous, crazy, and questionable they are, we just call them Commander Sky logic since no one would dare try it." Jasper said making Jason smile. Sky sighed, looking over at Mitchell.

"Just trust me, she won't leave. She knows she needs our help." He said. Mitchell stared at Sky and looked at Jason.

"Your friend makes no sense." He said. Jason turned to him.

"Hey, it is his thinking that wins us wars. So, just trust him." He said. Mitchell rolls his eyes.

"Whatever." He said before he leaves.
