"who done this to you?" I asked

I felt anger sinking in my vains

I was not letting anyone hurt you

not anymore!

She looked away trying to fight the tears back

She new I guessed who it was.

the man i thought that would protect her.

I slowly walked to her and held her close

I felt her tense up but slowly let go and cried in my shirt

"I promise I will protect you"

I knew she thinks of me as a friend

maybe thats all I am to her.

but as long as she's happy

I'm happy.
