The hissing of the train as it halts shook me up from my thoughts bringing me back to reality, the reality i was having a hard time accepting.

i get my bag as i get down the train breathing in the new air as i regretted the next second as i felt my stomach flip due to nervousness or better described as unprepared, I walk with my bag as i set my feet on the street, google maps handy as i make my way to the nearest bus stop.

i get off the bus carrying my luggage, pull out my phone to see if its the right place.
i look up to see the apartment, wind hitting my face..
i walk in and call the landlady, she helps with my luggage as she looks at me with a look of...pity?
i brush it off as she sets my bags down to unlock an apartment, as she pushes the door open i walk in and the landlady says she'll be leaving now and to call her up if anything's off.
the apartment was well ventilated it felt nice and scary at the same time.
few days passed as i made it "MY" home, i had to go work the and there was a storm a very big one.

Author pov. 

 amber is in the bathroom, getting ready for the day ahead. As she looks up into the mirror, she notices something strange. The reflection of a mysterious figure looms in the background, obscured by the dim lighting in the room. She feels a shiver run down her spine and tries to dismiss it as her imagination playing tricks on her. However, as she looks closer, the figure becomes more distinct, and she starts to see a face in the shadows - and it's looking right at her...Amber stands frozen in fear, her eyes locked with those of the mysterious figure in the mirror. She blinks, hoping it's nothing more than a trick of the light, but when her eyes reopen, the figure is still there, its gaze unwavering. Her heart races, and a million thoughts rush through her mind - who is this person? How did they get in? And why are they staring at her like that? With trembling hands, she slowly steps closer to the mirror, trying to get a better look at the intruder. she turns around to find no one and turns back to the mirror. As she moves closer, the details of the figure in the mirror become clearer. It's a man, tall and lean, with sharp, angular features and piercing eyes. He seems to exude an air of mystery and innocence. Amber can feel a sense of familiarity, although she cannot recall where she has seen him before. Without realizing it, she reaches out to touch the reflection, only to jerk her hand back in surprise as the image ripples and wavers, like water disturbed by a stone.

He looks at her moving closer reaching out and says "so you're the new one huh?"
Amber look at him confused as he chuckles," im Marshall."
Amber hesitates to speak but as she opens her mouth the image of Marshall turns less apparent almost likes he's fading. I stare in shock not knowing what do to 
he speaks up his voice smooth almost comforting 

"see ya"

he says as he smiles and fades away completely. i was left there with chills as to why and what has happened After the brief encounter, Amber stands there for a few moments, her heart still racing. She rubs her eyes to make sure she is not hallucinating, but the figure is no longer there. Looking around, she is certain that she is alone in the bathroom. The entire experience felt surreal, like something from a dream. But as she looks back into the mirror, she can't help but feel a lingering sense of unease. Something about that mysterious stranger Marshall in the mirror has left her unsettled, and she can't shake the feeling that they will be seeing each other again soon.

 Amber can't help but feel a strange attraction to him. She replays the scene in her mind, reliving the way he looked at her with those piercing eyes and the way he seemed to exude an aura of mystery. She can't explain why, but he has left a lasting impression on her, and she finds herself thinking about him more and more as the day goes on. Despite her better judgment, she finds herself hoping that she will see him again...

the storm had subsided completely and she thinks of the last thing "Marshall" had told her

"see ya"

and little did she know her life was about to change forever..
