Owen II, Sylvie II

It's pretty simple here, folks. Everyone from Austin, Los Angeles, and Chicago arrive in New York!

***

JFK Airport was bursting with activity as the flight from Austin disembarked from the plane, and Owen expertly maneuvered them through the throng of people rushing to and from various gates. "Holy crap," Nancy shook her head in awe, pressing close to TK and Carlos as they followed Owen. "It's a maze in here!"

"JFK is one of the busiest airports in the country," Owen nodded, checking behind him to make sure Izzy and Evie weren't getting lost in the crowd. The twins each had a hand on Tommy, and the paramedic captain kept hers on their shoulders. "At least it's not the holidays."

"Oh, I can only imagine," Tommy made a face of annoyance.

"Thanks for saying I could come along, too," Nancy added as Owen guided them to the side of the corridor. "I haven't been out of Austin for a long time, and I know what this time of year means for you."

"It's your vacation, Nancy," Owen smiled. "How you spend it is up to you."

"Besides, you also get to see my best friends," TK nudged her in the side.

Carlos snorted. "I think you're offending Marjan, Paul, and Mateo, babe."

TK shrugged unrepentantly. "When they consider naming me godfather to their future children, I'll reconsider, too."

Owen laughed as he scanned the screens announcing incoming flights. "Sounds like a fair trade to me."

"Isn't your godson's mother your best friend?" Tommy asked.

"One of them," Owen nodded.

"See?" TK gestured to his father. "I rest my case."

"What're you looking for, Owen?" Evie asked, tilting her head back in an attempt to see what Owen was watching.

"That," Owen answered, pointing to one of the screens. "Incoming flight from Los Angeles International Airport."

"That's Captain Nash's flight?" Carlos guessed.

"Yep," TK nodded, checking his phone. "Buck texted me their flight. That's the number."

"They're landing in a few minutes on the other side of the airport," Owen told them, backing away from the screens. "If you're up with waiting a little longer, we can meet just before we hit the baggage claim?"

"Fine by me," Nancy shrugged. "I know you're looking forward to seeing them both again."

"Sure!" Izzy grinned.

Evie nodded in agreement, and Carlos chuckled. "Well, if the kids say it's OK."

Owen nodded and beckoned, leading them through the crowded corridors of the airport. "Once you get through the crowd, it gets easier to move through. It won't be long until they land and join us."

"What about the people from Chicago?" Evie asked, skipping to join Owen.

Owen smiled fondly at her, feeling Izzy join him on his other side. "Wallace and his people are coming in on a later flight," he explained to them. "It's a much shorter flight from Chicago, and from what Wallace implied, a later flight would be easier for the rest of them."

"I still can't believe most of the officers are going to be out of the house," Nancy wrinkled her nose.

"The CFD's way of running houses is different than ours and LA's," Owen said, stopping under the sign that pointed the way to the baggage claim. "Each rig gets a commanding officer instead of one captain running the entire thing. Wallace was temporarily assigned to a different house when he got promoted – to the house in the center of his district – and Captain Casey initially commanded the house in his absence. When Wallace returned to 51, he took back overall command."

"That must have been a relief for them," Tommy remarked, leaning against the wall and beginning to absently scan people moving through the airport. "Spending so long under one chief and then being without him for a bit."

"A lot of the current firefighters at 51 have been there for over a decade," Owen revealed.

"Really?" Carlos's eyes widened. "Crews don't always stay the same for that long, do they?"

"Depends," TK shrugged. "Olivia and Fin have been with SVU for over two decades. If the fit is right, then that makes a crew hard to beat."

"Liv had a hard time with Amaro when he initially joined the team as her partner," Owen nodded in agreement. "But Liv made huge strides in her career with Amaro by her side. I know Captain Casey's crew has had various member changes since he started at the house, but Lieutenant Severide's crew has remained the same for several years."

"And their chief paramedic is coming, right?" Nancy asked, a curious gleam in her eyes.

"Oh, she's the trooper," TK snorted. "What did Stone say? How many partners has she had?"

Owen tilted his head and counted. "I think he said she's on her seventh?"

"Seven?!" Tommy balked at the thought.

"I'm sure that'll be one of the many stories we share one night," Owen chuckled.

TK brightened suddenly, and he whooped in glee, dropping his carry-on and running through the crowd. "Nick!"

"TK!" Nick grinned and met the firefighter in a hug. "God, man, it's been forever!"

"And we couldn't keep it that way?" Owen couldn't help but quip.

"Hey, I'm a joy, Cap!" Nick gave him a mocking glare.

"Yeah, Cap!" That came from Buck as he bounded into view, a grin splitting his face. "Nick is awesome!"

Owen sighed. "Of course, you two are friends."

"Birds of a feather," Nick grinned, then he turned and waved. "Over here!"

Owen recognized Eddie when he appeared, and his smile widened when he saw the family that came behind him. "Bobby!"

"Owen!" Bobby's expression brightened, and he moved forward at the same time as Owen. "I still can't believe it!"

"Me, neither!" Owen laughed, engulfing his friend in a hug. "No troubles with the flight?"

"None at all," Bobby shook his head, clapping Owen on the shoulder. "You?"

"All good," Owen gestured to his companions. "We decided to wait for you guys."

"Thanks," Bobby smiled. "You know this place better than we do."

"Captain Strand," Eddie smiled. "Good to see you again."

"You, too, Eddie," Owen nodded.

"And good to meet you in person," Athena stepped forward, holding out her hand. "Bobby has spoken very highly of you."

"Thank you, Athena," Owen smiled and shook her hand. "This must be May?"

"Yes, sir," May nodded with a shy smile.

"And Eddie's son, Christopher," Buck added, patting the shoulder of a curly-haired boy with crutches who stood between him and Eddie.

"Ah, the famous Christopher Diaz," TK beamed, crouching down to eye-level with Christopher. "You know, I think I hear more about you from Buck than anything else."

"Buck is awesome," Christopher informed him with a toothy grin.

TK laughed. "Yes, he is!"

"This is Captain Tommy Vega and her girls, Izzy and Evie," Owen introduced, gesturing to trio.

"Hi!" Christopher waved to the girls.

"Hello!" the girls chimed at the same time.

"Oh, boy," Athena sighed.

Tommy chuckled. "You get used to it."

"Believe me," Athena nodded to Buck and Eddie. "I know."

"Hey!" both men protested.

Nancy snorted. "I see what you mean."

"And my partner, Nancy, and my boyfriend, Carlos," TK added.

"Oh, I finally get to meet you!" Buck grinned and held out his hand to Carlos. "If I talk about Chris all the time, then TK talks about you."

"Buck!" TK whined.

Carlos laughed and confidently shook Buck's hand in return. "Good to meet the firefighter who is just as much trouble as TK."

TK huffed. "Thanks, babe."

"He isn't wrong," Nick smirked.

"Oh, thanks, Nick," TK punched him in the shoulder.

Owen sighed. "How bad were he and Buck on the flight over?"

Bobby snorted. "I thought Buck and Eddie were bad."

"Is it just insult the fire kids day?" Buck complained as they headed for baggage claim.

"No," Owen smirked. "I just know where Amaro goes, he converts everyone into trouble magnets."

"Seriously, Cap?" Nick laughed.

"How else do you explain my son, Rollins, and Carisi?" Owen raised an eyebrow.

"Carisi?" Nick repeated in surprise. "Really?"

"The one no one expects!" TK grinned mischievously. "He's our secret weapon."

Carlos sighed. "I'm beginning to get concerned about you and your best friends, TK."

Owen snorted. "Smuckers Incident. That's all I'm saying."

While Buck and Eddie looked at each other in confusion, TK and Nick burst into hysterics. "That'll teach people to declare a prank war between the red and blue!" TK said gleefully.

"So who won?" Evie asked curiously.

"The purple," Owen deadpanned.

"Purple?" Christopher blinked.

"You know, fire is red, police is blue," Nick explained. "Put red and blue together – "

"Purple!" the three kids chorused together.

Athena chuckled fondly. "Three Musketeers already."

"I think that's what Wallace called his three officers," Bobby said thoughtfully.

"McCoy called me, Liv, and Elliot that, too," Owen smirked. "It just depends on who's saying it."

Any response from Bobby was covered up by the sound of excited cheers, and Nick grinned widely. "Oh, incoming, Strands!"

TK had already dropped to his knees, arms held open, and he almost fell backwards when two blonde blurs hurtled into him. "Uncle TK!" the Rollins girls chanted happily.

"There are my girls!" TK wrapped his arms around them, and Owen swore he saw hearts in Carlos's eyes as he watched the reunion. "Oh, I needed that hug!"

Owen's attention, meanwhile, was caught by the curly-haired boy that ran towards him, and he smiled happily and bent at the waist. "Hey, Noah!"

"Uncle Owen!" Noah cheered, jumping up to wrap his arms around his neck.

Owen laughed as Noah wrapped his limbs around him like a koala, and he twirled his godson around, delighting in Noah's giggles. "How's my favorite godson?"

"I'm your only godson!"

"That makes you my favorite!"

"Hey, don't start that, Dad!" TK's head popped up over two blonde ones. "Now these two are gonna ask who my favorite is!"

Jesse giggled from where she had climbed onto TK's back, Billie snuggling in TK's lap. "We're both your favorites!"

TK's relieved expression was so comical, Owen almost dropped Noah from laughing so hard. "You are a very smart girl, Jesse," TK reached up and gently poked her in the forehead, making her adorably scrunch her nose. "I missed you."

"We missed you!" Billie chirped.

"They weren't the only ones!"

TK's expression brightened even further, and Nick laughed. "Should I take the girls?"

"Yeah, that's a good idea," Owen nodded, gently taking Billie from TK's lap.

Nick nodded and took Jesse off of TK's back, leaving the firefighter free to jump to his feet and run across the baggage claim and straight to Amanda and Sonny, and the trio crashed together with loud laughs that drew the attention of several people in the area. Olivia side-stepped the trio with a beaming smile, one Owen matched when Elliot followed her. "We can be a little more dignified than that, right?" Elliot quipped with a grin.

"Oh, maybe," Owen grinned in return.

Olivia merely held out her arms, and Owen gratefully sank into her hug. "Welcome back, Owen," she squeezed him tightly.

Owen sighed, burying his nose in Olivia neck and feeling Elliot wrap them both in a protective hug. "Thank God, I'm not alone."

"You won't be the entire time you're here," Elliot promised.

"And they thought they would be dignified!" Amanda huffed.

Owen sighed, hearing TK and Sonny laugh. "Like you wouldn't have knocked my son on the ground if you had the opportunity."

"He isn't wrong," Sonny admitted. "Good to see you, Cap."

"You, too," Owen smiled, untangling from the hug to hug the detective. Amanda wormed her way into the hug, too, and Owen chuckled. "Hello to you, too, Rollins."

"Alright, c'mere, you," Elliot held out his arms, and TK grinned and barreled into him. Elliot laughed and playfully ruffled his hair, making TK squawk. "Yep, you never change!"

"Elliot!" TK squirmed, attempting to escape.

"Nope!" Elliot hauled TK closer, making Olivia laugh. "Liv got you all to herself for too long. My turn!"

"Make sure he breathes!" Olivia warned, though she made no effort to help TK escape.

Noah giggled and grabbed at Elliot in an attempt to help TK. "I wanna hug him now!"

"Oh, well, what the little man says goes," Elliot winked and promptly released TK.

TK hit the ground with a thud, making Eddie wince sympathetically, but TK bounced up like a cat and grinned at Noah. "Thanks, bud!"

"You're welcome!" Noah beamed and hugged him around the waist.

Owen grinned sheepishly over Amanda's head at a visibly amused Bobby, Athena, and Tommy. "It's been a while since we've been in New York."

"That's an understatement," Amanda snorted.

"I feel left out," Nick remarked, though there was no heat in his voice.

"Oh, fine," Amanda rolled her eyes, a smirk on her face. "Sonny?"

Nick balked when he got two mischievous looks directed his way. "Oh, no – "

Buck and Eddie darted to the side as Amanda and Sonny pounced at the same time, and that trio really did fall to the floor in a heap. "Well, he asked for it!" Olivia grinned as Owen and Elliot laughed.

"Gee, thanks, Liv," Nick huffed. "You're a real pal."

Elliot slung his arm around Olivia's shoulders and peered down at Nick. "My successor?" he guessed.

Nick sighed. "Yeah, this is exactly how I wanted to meet your former partner, Liv."

"He did ask for it," Amanda shrugged as she hopped to her feet.

"I suppose I did," Nick sighed.

Owen took pity on the man and held out his hand. "Up and at 'em, Sergeant."

"Heard, Cap," Nick nodded, clasping his hand and letting Owen help him to his feet. "Glad to finally meet you, Stabler."

"Likewise, Amaro," Elliot shook his hand then pulled him in for a brief hug. "Thank you for having her six."

Nick smiled. "Any time."

Eddie cleared his throat. "Don't we, uh . . . need to get our bags?"

"Oh, damn," Carlos whipped around. "Yeah, I'll get – "

"I'll get started," Nancy shook her head, gently pushing Carlos towards TK. "You meet the family!"

Nick snickered. "I already know everyone, so I'll get started over here."

"I can take a hint," Owen chuckled. "This is our New York family: Captain Olivia Benson, her son Noah, Detective Elliot Stabler, and Detectives Sonny Carisi and Amanda Rollins and their girls, Jesse and Billie. From Austin, we've got Captain Tommy Vega and her twins, Izzy and Evie, Paramedic Nancy Gillian, and Officer Carlos Reyes. And from Los Angeles, this is Firefighter Evan Buckley – "

"Buck," he waved in greeting.

"Firefighter Eddie Diaz and his son, Christopher," Owen continued. "Sergeant Athena Grant and her daughter, 9-1-1 Dispatcher May, and the 118's captain – "

"Bobby Nash," Olivia and Elliot finished together with wide smiles.

Bobby blinked in surprise, and Owen coughed sheepishly. "I . . . may have been a little overexuberant when talking about this trip."

"Well," Bobby cleared his throat. "Owen speaks very highly of both of you. It's an honor to meet you."

"The honor is ours, Captain," Elliot shook his head, firmly shaking Bobby's hand. "Liv and I can be there for Owen . . . but we can only imagine what he went through that day. You know."

"I know it isn't the best circumstances," Olivia extended her hand. "But it's a pleasure to welcome you back to New York, Captain Nash."

There was a faint shine in Bobby's eyes as he shook Olivia's hand. "Thank you, Captain Benson."

Olivia grinned. "Olivia, please."

Bobby nodded in acknowledgement. "Bobby, then."

Amanda, meanwhile, folded her arms and eyed Carlos as the officer returned with his and TK's luggage. "So, you're the one who needs to pass our test, huh?"

Carlos almost dropped a suitcase on his foot. "Geez, 'Manda!" TK groaned, blushing deep red.

Carlos cleared his throat. "I'll take whatever test to be with TK, ma'am."

Amanda smirked. "Ma'am. I like him."

"Oh, no," Sonny facepalmed.

Nancy snickered. "Your best friends are awesome, TK."

"Yeah," TK grinned dopily, leaning his head on Sonny's shoulder. "I know."

Sonny beamed and threw his arm around the younger man's shoulders in return. "About time you came back, too."

Nick eyed the pair and sighed. "Right . . . so which one of you is Terror and which one is Trouble?"

"Yes," they said at the same time.

Carlos looked at Owen with wide eyes. "Suddenly, I'm feeling relieved we're staying with Detective Stabler and not them."

Elliot snorted. "Oh, I was one of the constant presences early in Tyler's life. What makes you think we won't be worse?"

"OK!" Athena cleared her throat, her eyes widening as she watched Carlos blanch. "Should we get out of here before we cause a bigger scene?"

"We probably should," Olivia agreed with a laugh. "Come on, we'll show you the way to the rentals."

Noah skipped between the Vega twins and Christopher, excitedly chatting with them about some of the family plans while they were in town, and Eddie watched with a smile as Christopher eagerly joined in. "I'm glad we brought Christopher," he said.

"They look like they'll have fun," May smiled in agreement.

"Oh, they will," Olivia nodded, threading her arm through Owen's as they walked from the baggage claim to the doors. "It's been hard to tell who's most excited – the adults to reunite with family, or the kids meeting new friends."

"Cosgrove said Lily is pretty excited to meet Casey's wards, and she's practically her father's clone when it comes to trusting and getting along with others," Elliot smirked.

"I don't remember a Cosgrove," TK knitted his brow. "Who's that?"

"Bernard's partner at the 2-7," Sonny explained, and both Strands nodded in understanding. "Let's put it this way: you throw him and Price a bone, and Cap and Peter have trouble besting them."

"Really?" Owen looked at Olivia in surprise.

Olivia sighed in exasperation. "You'd think I would get used to hearing that by now, but it gets truer with every case they handle. They bicker like a married couple one moment, then they're turning around and crucifying the worst of the worst in the next."

"Oh, really?" Nick grinned. "Someone can finally go toe to toe with Price?"

"You'll get to see it at some point, I'm sure," Amanda laughed. "Where the Cosgroves go, Price isn't far away. It's the same the other way."

"And ever since Price led the prosecution against Richard Wheatley after Peter got knocked off it, we've all been getting closer," Sonny added. "So expect to see them around, too."

"I'm looking forward to it," TK admitted. "I know the 2-7 Squad has always had the best record when it comes to homicide arrests and convictions, and you worked a few cases together."

Owen blinked suddenly and looked around. "Where is Peter?" he asked. "I'm guessing Fin is back at your precinct."

"Fin is," Olivia nodded. "Peter's getting as much work done as he can so he can get off in time to meet the Chicago flight."

"Wallace mentioned they would probably need the rest of the day to settle in," Bobby nodded, absently observing their surroundings as they continued to walk.

"Peter didn't hear get a confirmation, but he suspects the youngest member of Brett's family is coming with them," Olivia smiled. "If it's who I think it is, Peter is going to lose his mind."

"Who?" Nick frowned.

Elliot, Amanda, and Sonny looked curious as well, but Olivia winked. "It'll be a surprise for everyone."

Owen sighed fondly. "We aren't getting it out of you, are we?"

"Good," Olivia playfully patted his shoulder. "You still remember how I operate."

Owen laughed. "God, I missed this family."

"Trust me," Elliot threw his arm around Owen's shoulders, effectively trapping the fire captain between himself and Olivia. "We missed you, too."

***

In the short amount of time she had known Griffin and Ben, Sylvie had grown to love the boys as if they were her own sons. After all they had been through when Heather dragged them around the country, they deserved the best life she could provide, and damn her if she gave anything less. She had never expected Amelia to be the one who made them all feel like one big family, but as she watched with a swelling heart as Griffin carefully lifted a sleeping Amelia into his arms and Ben took her car seat and their bags, she figured anyone watching them would think they were a family.

"The three of you have done an amazing job with all three of them," Wallace said quietly as they disembarked from the plane in a line.

"It's been a team effort," Kelly smiled, lightly squeezing Sylvie's hand.

When they stepped off the ramp and into the airport, the noise level increased dramatically, and Amelia wrinkled her nose and blinked open her blue eyes. "Oh," Griffin paused to adjust how he held her. "Did you have a good nap, Mia?"

Amelia mumbled incoherently as she reached up and rubbed her eyes, then she held out her hands towards Sylvie. "Oh," Matt quickly moved forward. "Here, just give me . . . "

"Thanks." Sylvie slid her carry-on off her shoulder and let Matt sling it over his shoulder, then she held out her arms and took Amelia from Griffin. "Hey, ladybug," she smiled as Amelia hugged her around the neck. "Welcome to New York, honey."

"Man," Wallace let out his breath slowly, looking around the airport with an unreadable expression. "I had no idea how I would feel once we got here."

"How're you doing, Chief?" Ben asked, only glancing away once to hand some of the bags he carried to Griffin.

Wallace smiled faintly. "Right now? Relieved we're not meeting Owen and Bobby tonight. After Casey, Severide, and I were here last time, I'd rather have tonight to soak in being back in the city."

"Hey, we can run interference for you whenever you need it," Matt promised as they walked through the airport. "Sylvie's carrying the perfect excuse."

Sylvie snorted. "Let's not call my daughter an 'excuse.'"

"How do you plan on introducing her to everyone?" Griffin asked, watching as Amelia tucked her head into the crook of Sylvie's neck.

"My baby half-sister who I adopted after our mother died," Sylvie shrugged, though she did have a worried look on her face as she bit her lip. "That will sound a little weird, though."

"If anyone has a problem, they can take it up with us," Kelly smirked.

Wallace sighed. "Try not to get on the wrong side of the NYPD while we're here, gentlemen."

"We'll have Stone to bail us out if necessary," Matt pointed out. "Especially if it's because we were defending Sylvie."

"He probably would," Sylvie giggled.

"Oh, there's no probably," Kelly laughed as they headed for the baggage claim. "He absolutely would."

"Absolutely would what?" a welcome voice asked.

Sylvie grinned widely, and if she didn't have Amelia curled around her like a koala, she would have run across the baggage claim to greet her best friend. "If Matt and Kelly get on the bad side of the NYPD, can you bail them out?" she asked.

"I will do my utmost best," Peter grinned at her. "And if I have to bribe my bosses to make it happen, I'll put my job on the line."

"Best friend ever," Sylvie beamed, adjusting her hold on Amelia so she had one arm free. "God, it's so good to see you again."

"You have no idea," Peter hugged her as tightly as he dared, careful not to dislodge the sleepy toddler she held. "How was your flight?"

"Uneventful, thankfully," Kelly answered. "Good to see you, Stone."

"You, too, Severide," Peter nodded, and he extended his free hand to Wallace. "Welcome back to New York, Chief."

"Thank you, Stone," Wallace nodded, shaking his hand with a small smile. "You look right at home here."

"I am," Peter confirmed with a happy grin. "The cases take a toll at times, but I have a family and a team that I love. I couldn't be happier." He paused then looked at Sylvie. "Well, maybe if you moved up here – "

"Stone," Matt said warningly.

Sylvie giggled, and Peter held up his hand placatingly. "I know better than to get between you, Severide, and Sylvie," he said. "I was only half-joking." He looked down at the girl who was sleepily blinking up at him, and his smile widened. "I wondered if you would be bringing this little lady."

"Amelia, honey," Sylvie gently shook Amelia's shoulder, and her adopted daughter lifted her head. "This is your Uncle Peter."

"Hey there, Amelia," Peter gave her a small wave.

"Hi," Amelia waved in return, then yawned tiredly.

If Peter could, Sylvie was certain he would melt on the spot. "Oh, everyone is going to die when they see her," he chuckled warmly.

"Griffin, Ben, meet ADA Peter Stone," Matt introduced. "He used to work in Chicago as an Assistant State's Attorney. Stone, these are my wards, Griffin and Ben Darden."

"Nice to meet you, sir," Griffin held out his hand.

"It's good to meet you, too," Peter shook his hand with an approving smile. "Sylvie's told me a lot about you both. I hope you'll enjoy your time in the city."

"I'm looking forward to it," Ben grinned.

"You said you worked with someone who has a daughter their age, right?" Sylvie asked, keeping one eye on Peter and one on her partners as they and Wallace checked for their luggage.

"If our teams cross paths, yes," Peter nodded. "Detective Frank Cosgrove is part of the Manhattan North Homicide Squad. One of my coworkers – more like my boss directly under Jack – is the lead prosecutor for their cases. Remember when I told you about the crime boss who had it out for Liv's best friend and former partner?" Sylvie's expression darkened, and she nodded as she recalled Peter's frustration about the case. "When Wheatley's attorney managed to kick me off the case, Nolan took it over. He and Cosgrove are absolutely cutthroat when it comes to catching and convicting murderers. It's a treat to watch. They're in the process of wrapping up a trial, actually, if you want to drop in. I can get you into the courtroom. I know you enjoyed sitting in on some of my trials back in Chicago."

"I'd like that," Sylvie smiled. "Will I get a chance to see you in action, maybe?"

"It depends on if something crosses my desk while you're here," Peter shrugged. "Or if I get anything handed to me from the OCCB." He smirked wryly. "Apparently, I'm gaining a reputation of being one of the very few prosecutors Detective Stabler tolerates."

Sylvie laughed. "I wonder why!"

"Yeah," Peter rolled his eyes. "I wonder." Griffin and Ben looked blankly at him, and Peter chuckled. "My partner, Olivia, worked with Detective Stabler for years before he resigned from the force. He joined the Organized Crime Control Bureau when he moved back to New York last year."

"Oh," the boys nodded in understanding.

"So," Peter rubbed his hands together, watching Wallace, Matt, and Kelly return with luggage. "I know that the hotel you're staying at has an excellent restaurant in it. Anyone hungry? Consider it my welcome to the city."

"I'm starving," Ben nodded enthusiastically.

"You're sure, Stone?" Wallace asked with a frown.

"Oh, please," Peter waved away any of his concern. "Some of my favorite people are finally here. It's my treat."

"In that case," Matt smiled, placing his hand on Griffin's shoulder, "lead the way."

Sylvie nodded in agreement, and as Peter extended his arm, she gratefully tucked herself into his side. "I've really missed you," she said quietly.

"You have no idea," Peter shook his head as they headed for the doors. "If it wasn't for you knocking sense into my head a few years ago, I would have left New York and my family in the dust. I've wanted to find a way to have you visit ever since. I'm so glad you finally made it."

"Yeah," Sylvie smiled happily, leaning her head against Amelia's and trusting Peter to guide her as they walked. "I am, too."

Fluff. :) I love writing reunions. I don't know which was my favorite, but I know I'm just looking forward to everyone meeting again.

That'll likely happen next chapter, though I'm still working on how everyone is meeting. I do know I may put a few people in danger to push along the two pending ships. XD

Happy holidays, everyone!
