PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS

1. Be nice to each other. Kind of obvious, but just know that Alyssa and I will intervene if we have to. Keep the drama in the story.

2. Censor all curse words. We don't have a problem with cursing, just make sure that your comments are censored so that they don't automatically get flagged.

3. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. We organize things a certain way for a reason. Please make sure you keep everything in the correct areas and use the correct format.

4. Grammar is a must. We're talking quotation marks, complete sentences, periods, the whole shebang. If we can't understand what you're saying, we're going to become very frustrated very quickly. Additionally, please try to create detailed responses. Personally, I struggle to consistently write responses longer than about 1500 characters, and I tend to keep it around 1000. I understand that some people may be closer to 500. That's fine! We're all a work in progress. Just please try to have responses longer than a couple of sentences. I will probably try to match your response length, as will Alyssa. 

5. Don't make Mary Sues. We understand that everyone is on a different level in terms of rp experience, and we're far from elitist. But, there's no excuse for writing boring characters. Have some personality! Flaws are great!!! We are not really going to put limits on what type of backstories are available, but for goodness sakes if you're going to write a character who has been abused or whatever, make it believable! Characters drive the plot, and if you don't put any effort into the whole freaking person that you are literally creating out of thin air, then what's the point?

6. Smut needs to not be in the comment section. Not everyone is cool with seeing it and I don't want anyone to become uncomfortable.

7. Have some, like, common sense? If you're planning to initiate plot altering drama, tell us. If you need an extension on a task, ask as soon as possible. Don't control other people's characters. That type of thing. If you are unsure if something is okay, then ask first. We're good at giving permission. We suck at giving forgiveness. 

8. Story updates are open for everyone to contribute to! We very much believe that role plays belong to the community, so while we are moderaters and do have final say on most things, we want to make sure everyone is included in the story and everyone has the opportunity to make their characters interesting and significant. Therefore, if something is happening in your character's life, and you want to write it up, then go ahead and send it to me! We'll post it, with only light editing for grammar. We ask that entries be 400 words at minimum(though there is no maximum) and that you include the day the event occurs. If you don't know what to write about, pm me and we can come up with something. Note: these are absolutely NOT required.
