 There were over two hundred guests at the palace tonight, and the Illean ballroom was bursting with such effervescence as they flooded the scene. Giggles seemed to burst from their lips as they danced and ate and drank champagne, not seeming to care that tonight marked the beginning of a journey that would change the lives of twenty-four young people in the room, not even knowing who among them those people were. Everyone blurred together, a host of masks and cloaks and wigs making identities indistinguishable beneath the soft lighting of the golden chandelier. The slight drunkenness that overtook a few members of the party definitely didn't help matters.

Hey dudes! The main chain will be up in a few. Feel free to roleplay there, or to create individual chains. YOU MAY NOT RP UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE TASK. Palace staff are welcome to RP as well.
