Will's P.O.V.

I was working in the infirmary when I heard a panicked voice yell "NICO! Somebody Help!!!" OH NO, not Nico what's he gotten himself into now?

I ran outside and saw Nico collapse on the ground in pain. He was dissolving into shadows. I ran over to him.

"Nico, you idiot, Stay Awake! Don't Give up! Nico, Stay Awake." I yelled. "I'm sorry," he muttered. And then he lost consciousness. I put my hand on him and my hands glowed, my powers should keep him from dissovling into shadows for now.

"Quick Hazel, Frank Go run inside and grab a stretcher tell my siblings to prep a bed," I yelled quickly. I saw Percy and Annabeth running over to me.

"What do you need us to do?" asked Percy. "When Hazel and Frank come back, you and Frank carry him, and Annabeth help me lift him onto the stretcher. I'm going to keep my hands on him, my powers should help keep him from turning into shadows." I explained.

Hazel and Frank came back, and Percy grabbed the other part of the stretcher. Annabeth and I gently lifted Nico onto the stretcher. I was very careful to keep my hand on Nico to stop him from dissolving.

We got into the infirmary and laid Nico on a bed. I opened the blinds to let the sunshine in so he didn't dissolve into shadows. "Percy, Frank, Hazel, and Annabeth I need you to leave. Sis please stay." I said.

They left the room Hazel was in tears the others tried to console her, but even Jason was barely holding it together.

I went to work on him with my older sister Lilly helping me. He was in really bad shape. He was melting into shadows, he had untreated Lycaon wolf scratches along with malnutrition and exhaustion from carrying the Athena Parthenos. Not to mention his mental health from Tartarus.

We worked on Nico for 2 hours and I nearly lost him if I had gotten to him 5 minutes later he would have died.

I couldn't lose him, I cared about him. I cared about him more then I should...

Not that he would ever love me he probably didn't even like guys. Still, when I saw him dying I couldn't bear to lose him. Now that I knew he was stable I went outside where everyone was anxiously waiting for news on Nico.

Hazel was distraught, along with Annabeth, Piper and Frank. Reyna and Coach Hedge were angry, really angry. Percy and Jason were trying to stay strong for the others but I could see the pure distraught dispare look in their eyes.

"First Leo and now Nico!" sobbed Hazel. Annabeth was the first to spot me. "How is he?" she asked. "Nico is stable for now," I said. Everybody breathed a sigh of relief.

"But I don't know when he will wake up," I said. Bursting everybody's bubble. Percy and Jason finally broke down in tears.

"Is he stable enough for visitors?" asked Annabeth trying to play the part of the rational levelheaded daughter of Athena that I knew she was. "Yes," I said after all they were going to see him no matter what I said. I walked them to Nico's room he looked so peaceful sleeping there.

"Nico you're stronger than this you can beat this," said Jason. "I love you Neeks," whispered Hazel. "You better not die Nico otherwise I swear I will go to the underworld and kill you." Said Annabeth.

"Don't forget that we're your family Nico and family is always there for each other." Said Reyna. "Stop being lazy and get up Di Angelo," grumbled Hedge.

They left Nico's room but I stayed I didn't want him to be alone. I finished my rounds with the other patients nobody was in very serious condition.

A day passed Nico was still asleep then 2 days past 3 and soon enough a week had passed, and all of my patients had been released and now it was just Nico that I was in charge of taking care of Gods I missed him.

I missed his dark gorgeous eyes and scowl I even missed it when he was angry. I remember when he first came to camp, he and I were both young but I thought he was really cute then.

Then I remember seeing him again fighting in the titan war he was so hot with his army and the way he took charge...

I continued to sit, and wait in Nico's room I spent a lot of time there, because I'm his doctor of course.

"Oh Nico I miss you so much, you don't know how much you mean to me," I whispered. "Please come back to us Nico."

I got up to leave the room when I heard. "Don't worry you can't get rid of me that easily." I stopped dead in my tracks and twirled around. Nico had woken up.

"NICO, you're awake, thank the gods!" I screamed. "How long was I out?" He asked. "A week Nico I was worried you might never wake up."

"Okay. So what was wrong with me?" he asked.

"YOU were melting into shadows, you had untreated Lycan wolf scratches along with malnutrition, underweight, and exhaustion from carrying the Athena Parthenos," I explained. "Oh yah I forgot about the wolves..." He muttered.

"Forgot! Nico you nearly died! I told you to come to the infirmary right away! But you didn't and I nearly couldn't save you..." I choked a bit thinking of losing him.

"It's fine though I'm alive, and it's not like anyone would miss me if I died." He mumbled the last bit under his breath.

"Nobody would miss you?! Are you crazy Hazel, Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Frank, Reyna, and Coach Hedge. Kids from all around the camp have been asking about you. Chiron and even Mr. D have also been asking how you've been. We've all been worried sick about you. If you hadn't of made it... I don't know what we would have done. Listen Nico I'm your doctor and I want to help you get better but you have to talk to me about how your feeling. I need to know if you're sick, how you feel, so that we can work together to get you healthier but I can't do it alone okay? "

"Okay deal. Now can I see them please," he begged. "Of course Nico, but first I need to give you a check-up." I replied.

"Okay..." He responded. I put my stethoscope to his chest. "Deep breath for me please." I said. Nico obliged and took deep shaky breaths and I listened and check his organs to make sure there was no permenant damage.

I checked his bandages around his chest to make sure he was healing well, and after I finished checking his vitals I went outside. "Guys NICO IS AWAKE," I yelled at the top of my lungs and Hazel, Jason, Percy, Annabeth, Piper, Frank, Reyna, and Coach Hedge came running.

"Can we see him?" asked Hazel. "Yes come on," I replied.

"Nico you scared the Styx out of us," yelled Reyna. "I'm sorry guys I didn't mean to scare you." he said. "Wow, Nico is apologizing what is happening?" asked Reyna. "Aww shut up." he replied. and we all burst out laughing.

"We good Nico?" asked Percy. "Yah we're good Percy," he replied. I wonder what they're talking about?

"Nico I know you just woke up from a long sleep but you really should rest some more," I said. "Aww come on Sunshine, I'm not even tired." he said looking at me with puppy dog eyes. OH, MY GODS he just called me sunshine.

"Nico Will is your doctor you have to listen to him," said Hazel sternly. "Your sister is right listen to Will." said Jason.

"Okay, okay fine but you're not going back to camp Jupiter yet are you Hazel?" he asked nervously. "No we're going to stay for a little while," she replied.

"Good then I'll see you when I wake up." he yawned. "Bye guys See you later," he said as everybody left. "OK Nico I'll let you sleep but call me if you need anything or don't feel good okay Doctor's Orders," I said. "Okay Sunshine you're the boss," he said and he drifted off to sleep.
