Chapter Twenty Two: I Have Found My Soulmate

Dispatch.com

Oh boy, do we have news for you! Hybe announced a press conference today at 3pm in their main building. There has been a lot of speculation surrounding what this little gathering could actually be about. Is a member of BTS joining the military early? Did one of the guys from TxT lie about his age to join the group? Is Sungyeon pregnant with Ikon Jay's secret love child? Is there in-fighting between the guys of Enhypen that's going to cause them to breakup?

Really, I've heard it all at this point. There is no shortage of K-Pop rumors, afterall. But I, and I'm sure the rest of the world, too, am hoping that they're going to tell us which one of the guys from BTS was on the Sex Tape Heard 'Round the World. What do you think? Will they finally announce it? Are we going to find out which of our seven loves has finally found their soulmate?

Whatever the big announcement is, I hope that we can all be happy and supportive of our favorite idols! I'll update as soon as I know more.

Stay tuned!

"Oh God," I said, holding my stomach. "I'm gonna be sick."

Yoongi turned to look at me, then wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, kissing my forehead. "It's going to be okay, Kitten. I promise. If you're that worried, than I can go out alone, tell them it was me, but nothing about you, and be done with it."

"That won't be done with it," I tell him. "They'll do whatever they have to, to find out who I am."

Yoongi shrugs. "You're not wrong."

"And besides, we're in this together, right?" I ask him, and he nods. "You're not going to do this whole thing alone. We're a team."

Yoongi chuckles softly. "God I love you, Cassi. You are so perfect for me. I don't know what I would do without you."

"Remember that the next time we're fighting over which tie you're going to wear on stage," I tell him. I couldn't help but giggle. "And I love you, too. Yoongi."

The rest of the guys crowded around us, firing off questions to see how we were feeling before the big announcement.

"Oh yeah," Yoongi told me with a smile. "And we have these weirdos, too. You never walk alone."

"Stealing lines right from our songs now, Hyung?" Tae asked him. "Smooth, real smooth."

"You can't be that surprised," Jimin adds to the conversation. "What was it that Yoongi-Hyung said was his favorite pick-up line?"

In unison, the six other guys besides my soulmate all say: "Do you know BTS?" Then they all bust up laughing, Yoongi and I included. I couldn't help it. I loved being around these guys. They're funny, sweet, and way more down-to-earth than you would expect.

"Here, Cass," Jungkook said, handing me Starbucks cup. "Got you your favorite."

"Two extra shots?" I ask him, my eyebrow raised.

"Duh. I'm not stupid. I know your order," He insists. "Venti caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino, two extra shots, extra caramel drizzle and extra caramel crunchies."

"Please tell me that you say 'crunchies' when you order it," I say. I can't help laughing at how cute he is.

"What else would I say?" He asks, looking confused. "Isn't it 'crunchies'?

"No, sweetheart. It's just called 'caramel crunch," I tell him, still giggling at his cuteness. "But it's okay. I like the way that you say it. You're cute, Jungkookie."

"Hey now, what am I hearing?" Yoongi interrupts, turning to where we were talking behind him. "You're calling another guy cute? Not sure how I feel about that."

"But he brought me Starbucks, Yoongi!" I tell him, holding up my cup. "He knows the way to my heart."

"You like that stuff too much."

"Oh I love it. I worship it," I tell him. "I have a Starbucks cup up on the mantel at home, with the Virgin Mary, a glass of wine, and a dollar bill next to it."

"Your soulmate is too much sometimes, Hyung," Tae tells him.

"Yeah, but I love her just how she is."

I smiled as he leaned in to press his lips to mine.

"Are you ready for this, Kitten?" He asked me.

"Ready to have a bunch of people that I don't know ask me about our sex tape? Nope."

He shook his head at me. "It's off limits. I made sure of it. If anybody brings it up, security will escort them out."

I smile at him, touching his cheek. "I never thought that I would say this, given how we started out, but you are the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"Of course I am," he said with a cocky smile. "We're soulmates, baby."

He leaned down and kissed me one more time before we were told that it was time to head into the room that the press conference was being held in. While he entered through the side door, I walked around the hallway and slipped in the back. The plan was for him to start and give some basic info, then if anybody asked who his soulmate was, which they would, he would introduce me and I'd join him on stage. But only if I was comfortable at that point. He made sure that I knew that choice was entirely up to me, and he would back me either way.

I entered the room just as he was settling in. I leaned back against the wall and watched him as I sipped on my drink.

"Hello, everyone," he said with a little wave. "I'm Min Yoongi, also known as Suga from BTS." He paused to stand up and bow to the people in front of him, which I'm sure that he already did when he came in.

"I've called this press conference today t-" He stopped and looked to the side of the room.

The other six guys came in, bowing to the press seated in the chairs in front of the small stage, then walking up on stage with Yoongi.

He covered the mic with his hand, but you could still hear the conversion.

"What're you doing?"

"Did you really think that we'd let you get thrown to the wolves all alone?" Namjoon asked him with a dimpled smile.

"We're a team," Hobi told him. "Always."

"We're a family," Jungkook added.

Jin, took a different approach and started singing a song from High School Musical. "We're all in this together! And it shows, when we stand, hand-in-hand, make our dreams come trueeee!"

I watched in horror as the Maknae line of BTS started singing with him, and even worse, doing the dance from the movie. They were really getting into it, too. Not that they ever do anything half-assed.

"Shut up, Seokjin!" Namjoon said to him. "And sit down. All of you."

These guys...I swear. They are absolutely the best kind of loveable chaos.

There are only two chairs on the small stage, one for Yoongi, and one for me, if I chose to take it. So the guys all sit on the front of the stage, with the table that Yoongi is sitting at behind them. They look like they're there to do exactly what they are meaning to do. Protect Yoongi and I. They looked our personal bodyguards.

"As I was saying...My name is Min Yoongi, from BTS," he said, starting again. "I'm here today to tell you that I have found my soulmate. And I hope that you can all be happy for me, happy for us," he says, looking for me in the back of the room and smiling at me, then quickly looking away before anybody notices. "Because she is amazing, and I am lucky as hell."

"Mr. Min! Mr Min! Yoongi! Suga! Min Yoongi!"

All of the reporters started yelling his name, in different ways, all at the same time. He looked around them all, and pointed to a small lady in the second row.

"You may ask your question first."

She stood and bowed to Yoongi. "Hello. Song Seung-hyun, from the Korea Herald. You said that you found your soulmate. How long ago did you find her. Or him. I don't want to make assumptions."

"It's a her," Yoongi said with a laugh. "And we've known for several months now."

"Why have you waited so long to come forward?" She asked as a follow-up question.

"Have you found your soulmate, Miss Song?" Yoongi asked her, and she shook her head no. He leaned into the mic a little. "Just because you find your soulmate, doesn't mean that it's all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes you already know this person, and you fight with them a lot. And while everyone around you saw that it was more than just fighting, and it was full of want and need and passion, nobody took the time to tell you. Either of you. So you just kept fighting about the dumbest little things. Then, when you finally find out that you're soulmates, it's really hard to accept. How could this person be your soulmate when you're always at each other's throats? It takes time to come to the realization that they are the absolute perfect person for you. And even then...sometimes that person decides that they're not good enough for you, and they get really drastic and dramatic, and have their soulmate mark removed." He paused for a moment as the crowd collectively gasped. He held up both of his hands to quiet them down. "Please relax. Twelve hours after she had it removed, I told her that I didn't care if it was there or not. She was my soulmate and nothing would ever change that. And...her mark came back somehow. But my point here, is that just because you find your soulmate doesn't mean that you're going to run off and get married right away and live happily ever after. This is still the real world and even soulmate bonds are hard. But if you fight for it, eventually, it ends up being...perfect."

She smiled at him. "That's very well put. Thank you. Just one other quick follow-up, if you don't mind. Now that you have figured out that you're soulmates, has the fighting stopped? Is it going to stop?"

Yoongi laughs. "God I hope not. I love fighting with this woman. It's fun to see her get all riled up. I might have done some of it on purpose, just to get her going. She really cares about her job, and she takes it seriously, and let me tell you, she has put me in my place a time or two. She doesn't give in just because of who I am. Nor would I want her to. Like I said, she's perfect."

The reporter laughs and bows to him again, then sits down as other hands pop up in the air.

Yoongi points to another journalist who stands up and introduces himself before asking his question.

"Are we to assume that the audio at the soundcheck a couple of weeks ago was you?"

Yoongi sighed and held up a hand to stop the two security guards who start towards the man. "You can assume that. And I want to apologize to everyone. The press, the fans, the rest of the members of BTS, the staff, the backstage crew, everyone. But especially to my soulmate. It was an accident that never should have happened. But...sometimes you're in the heat of the moment and the only thing that you're focused on is the person that you love more than anything else in this life."

The reporter bows to him and sits down, and Yoongi calls on someone else.

"I see that there is an empty chair next to you. Are you planning on introducing us to your soulmate today?"

Yoongi looks at the chair beside him and shrugs. "That's up to her. I don't want her to be called out, especially after that last question. I don't want her to feel embarrassed at all. This is on me, not her. But...she is more than welcome to come up and join me at any time. Or stay where she's at. It's her choice, and I won't be upset either way. I respect her and her decisions."

Everyone starts looking around the room at each other and the reporter who is still standing asks an obvious follow-up question. "So she's in the room right now?"

Yoongi smiles. "She is." I can tell that he's doing his best not to look at me.

It's my choice, but I'm here for a reason, right? There is no way that I'm going to leave my soulmate up on stage to handle this alone. We're a fully-bonded team. So I take a deep breath and push off the wall while everyone is whispering amongst themselves. I walk around the edge of the room slowly. Nobody has really noticed me, yet. As I get closer to the stage, they start to, and suddenly, all eyes are on me, while I only have eyes for the sexy-as-hell guy that's dominating the stage. He stands up and walks over to help me up on stage, even though it's only three steps, then holds my hand as he walks over and we sit down next to each other.

"Let me introduce you to my soulmate. Cassiopeia Walker. Or Cassi, as I call her. She's been the stylist for J-Hope and myself for over two years and recently took on Jungkook as well," he says, his eyes shining as he looks at me while he talks. "That's why we kept fighting. She was always trying to put me in shirts that showed more than I wanted to, or ties that I didn't like, or shoes that pinched my toes."

He winked at me and I laughed at him. "Gee, Yoongi. Way to up-sell me."

Everyone in the room laughed at that, and then the questions started. Yoongi and I took turns answering them. I'm pretty sure that anyone who watched the press conference could see how well we played off each other, and how much love there was between us. I could feel it radiating off of him, and it's truly the best feeling in the world.

You heard it here first! Min Yoongi, AKA-Suga from BTS, has officially found his soulmate!

Before you start crying into your cereal or hating this girl already, you should take some time to watch the press conference that they gave today. Not only were the rest of the members of BTS there to show their full support for the couple, but this reporter has never seen K-Pop's resident grumpy cat look happier. And that is saying a lot! Because if you've ever seen Suga on stage, you'll know that it's his happy place. He is always all gummy smiles the whole time he's up there.

But this Yoongi...This was different. The entire room full of reporters, photographers, and camera crews could feel the love that this couple has for each other, and it was an amazing experience for us all. According to Yoongi, even though they work together every day, they actually found each other on the soulmate app, by posting pictures of their markings. When asked, however, they declined to share them with the world. Which is fine, some stuff should be kept private...even if we've all already heard you getting it on.

Her name, in case you're wondering, is Cassiopeia Walker. (Cool name, right?) But it won't be for long! At the end of the press conference, we were all shocked to witness Yoongi get down on one knee and propose to his lovely soulmate. She was shocked, too, you could see it on her face, but they were both so, so happy when she said yes! All of the other members of BTS were quick to surround the happy couple with hugs and congratulations all around. Not only does Yoongi love his soulmate, but you could tell just how much the other members care for her, too. Especially J-Hope and Jungkook, who she is also the stylist for.

Oh to be Cassiopeia Walker! Yes, she has an amazing soulmate, but she also has great friends in all of the other members of the world-famous boy band. I'm jealous of her, and I know that a lot of you are, too. But let's be happy for them, and not show them any hate. They deserve to be happy, and I am asking you, our lovely readers, to spread the love for this couple, if for no other reason than for your love and respect for Yoongi and BTS.

We will, of course, be staying as on top of their story as we can. Who knows, maybe we'll be able to snag a wedding invite. How cool would that be?!

I will leave you with this, my darling readers: There is love out there for everyone. Be it with your soulmate or another special person. You just have to be willing to go out there and find it. And while you are on this search, please spread kindness and happiness to everyone that you meet.

THE END

********************************************************

A/N: Ahhhh! I can't believe this story is finished! I love Yoongi and Cassi so much, and they were so much fun to write, from their fighting to their love story. I hope that you have enjoyed reading about them as well. I plan on focusing on Baby, I Got Your Number for awhile. But, to be honest, I have another story idea that's floating around in my head and just begging to be let out. It's a Jimin solo book. So you might be able to look for it in the near future. Like the end of this story says, please spread kindness and happiness to everyone you meet. -------Kat
