After jack got up at 9 which was early for him .
he walked down the hall and in to kitchen to be greeted by rex who ran over to him excitedly .

jack rubbed his eyes but smile and patted his head .
" i made you breakfast if you want it " .
Jack jump he hadn't expected elsa it be up on their day off .

jack look on the table and there was five croissants three chocolate and two butter ,there was also flack of coffee on the table.

" you didn't have to go to all this trouble."jack shift uncomfortable.
He was never one that was good a cooking food but he was good at eating it .

Elsa turned form fill a mug with coffee and tea for her self to give him a genuine smile .

"It's no Trouble really .i got kind of bored."
She then tuned back the their cups .

Jack Starred at her back with a stupid smile on his face that refused to leave .
Deciding that should not waste this lovely food he sat down they both eat until full talking casual.

Afterward they when the separate way. Elsa when to meet  Merida for a coffee .

Elsa p.o.v
Me and Merida when to Starbucks I got a Double chocolate frappe with cream and brownies and Merida got a mocha with a piece of cake .
As soon  as we got out order and sat down Merida stared ambushing me with questions . I guess being quite for that long didn't last .
"So tell me what grandma like to live with ?."
She sniggering like a little school girl .

I groaned ,"it's going to be a long day ".

Two hours later .
I sighed as I enter my flat and set my keys down as rex rushed over sitting in front for me waiting for me to pet him .

I scratch him behind his ear where he love to be scratch .

I sat down on my couch when my fresh tea that I had just made to watch t.v
Then their was a knock on the door . I sighed getting up and settling my tea down .
Another knock came again , I thought at first it might be jack having forgot his key or something.

But when I opened the door my hart skipped a beat and it wasn't in the good way ,in the worst was possibly.
" hello Elsa ." I heard a voice I has by now nearly forgot.

Rex growled aggressive to the in trudged but he wasn't fazed .
" what are you doing here." I gasped out
"I came to visit my girlfriend ".
" I am Not your girlfriend anymore ".
He pouted and the look made me feel sick .
He walk toward me and I immediately walk back so now he was uninvited and unwelcome to walk in to my home .

I sighed and closed the front door .
" hey Rex how my little buddy " Rex growing got more intense and he was now baring his Teeth at Lucas.
He put his hand down and Rex lunged at him teeth beard but sadly end up missing.

" what are you really doing here Lucas "
Lucas snapped back to Elsa. "Well you see Elsa, I have herd remorse going around that you have a new guy ".
I was Getting quite annoyed now " it's none of your business who I am with now ". I spat out .
Not that I was with anyone but it annoyed me that he felt that he still right to know .

With in an instance he was in front of me and I felt the same pain that I had gone use to over two year the same pain on my cheek or my stomach or my thigh .
This time it was on my cheek .
Rex lunged at Lucas aggressive to protect me .
" what the hell do you think you doing ". Another voice yelled at the intruder.
" what . he's the guy you been fucking now Elsa .my god Elsa you standers have slipped ."

"Get out " I mumbled
" what"Lucas yelled at me
"GET out she said are you fucking deaf " jack who i has never hear him so cross before shouted an angry look on his face.

Jack walk in between Lucas and me
"You don't get to tell me what to do "
"Yes I fucking do .get the fuck out of this house or I will personally make it my mission to Send you to jail so you never see the fucking light of day until you 70 and then you be to old to scratch to your ass."

If It was different circumstances I would of laughed but not now not with Lucas.

Lucas laughed " with what evidence "
" o let me see physical and verbal harassment ."
Rex growed backing up jack
" fine .fuck it , I will be back elsa ,"
" no you wouldn't , you do know that I am a detective . Who are they going to believe "

Lucas glared at jack before leaving out the door where jack closed with Rex close behind.
I slid down the wall and hugged my knee up to my chest .

After everything I did to build my self up again he walk back in and destroyed everything . Leaving me with a shell of emptiness.

Third person p.o.v
Jack turned around still fuming but as soon as he saw Elsa his face soften .

Without a world jack sat beside Elsa on the floor .
" thank you " Else breathed quite.
" your welcoming " jack now looked at her
"You know Elsa ..." he stop when he realized Elsa had finally let the tears slipping form her eyes .

Jack didn't say anything he just wrapped his arms around her to give her comfort .
Elsa was so hurt she let her walls that were already breaking down full come down as she weeped in to his chest .

When she had finally gotten her self under control
" how much of that did you see "
"Almost all really .since Rex stared barking ."

elsa sight.
" does anyone know that he hits you. ".
" how did you .."
jack cut her off " you flinched before he hit when he was just standing in front of you and when he hit you,you didn't cry right away . which implies that this isn't the first time ."

elsa looked at jack " was it really that obvious."

Jack shrugged taking his eyes off of her to look straight.

" can i ask you a question?" jack looked back at her .
" why didn't you report him ."jack said it like it was the simplest thing to do but for him a person on the outside it was obvious the answer but for elsa it wasn't that easy.

"I thought people would think little of me  I guess i mean a detective that cant even fend off her ex ."

jack frowned at her ." I don't think anyone would think that of you elsa."
elsa nodded .

jack got up , " dose north know ."
"no" elsa said quietly and got up too.
" well when we go in Monday you have to tell him elsa , i come with you if you what ."
elsa pulled a face but nodded .
" thanks jack for everything ." Elsa smile at him so bright that he was actually stunt by her natural beauty even with her red puffy eyes she still look beautiful.

jack gave her a lopsided grin ."it was nothing to be honest It was Eder that or  punch him and the I would be suspended for assault ."

" good night jack  "elsa giggle.
" night "Jack smile as he watched elsa walk away with rex following behind her . she had rex's bed at the end of elsa bed .

Jack let out a sight .

Next morning

Jack alarm rang as he scrambled to turn off his phone .

When he was still dress in his pj walked in to the kitchen.
Elsa was drinking her coffee her hair in a perfect French braid and light makeup on .

He nodded at Elsa with a small smile .
Yawning jack ran his hand through his hair and grabbed a cup of coffee .
Elsa who was Starring at the small action quick recomposes her self and forced back on buttering her pancakes in Nutella .

" how are you today " jack asked attentively
" fine " Elsa quickly glance up and looked back down again . Jack raised his eyebrows .
" so your just going to pretend your fine . Your one of those woman who say there fine but there not fine and they what someone to ask them how the really feel ."

Elsa looked up sharply.
Jack almost wanted to dig his Owen grave .
" excuse me . No some time we just don't want to Talk about it "

Jack signed " am sorry that can out wro-"
" it's fine " Elsa said getting up
" are you going to get dress , I am leaving for work in five minutes ". As she left out the door
Jack sighed "shit " he whispered Rex looks at him tilting his head .
" at lest you don't have any woman problems "
Rex bugged jack to give him comfort .
