S1 Finale!!

(Y/N): ... It's now or never...

You were currently hovering your finger over the 'send' option on your scroll. It was quite nerve racking since you weren't sure about her response. Sweat began to drip from your forehead until you clicked the option in a matter of seconds.

(Y/N): ... Well that's that...

You patiently awaited for a response on your scroll until you noticed something strange happen directly in front of you. Strange is an understatement, you were looking at something thar could only happen in a work fiction... Then again Remnant is always full of surprises.

There was a portal that suddenly appeared in your team's dorm and someone emerging from the portal. It was none other than Raven, a woman in black and red clothing while carrying her weapon by her side... She is also your mother.

Raven: Yes?

(Y/N): Guess that explains the other day...

Raven simply gave you a blank look since it never really explained the reason for calling her.

(Y/N): A-anyways... Reason why I called you here is to ask you a few questions.

Raven: You want to ask where I've been all of these years.

You nodded in reply since it was one of the questions.

Raven: Very well, follow me.

With a casual swing of her blade, a portal opened in front of her and she walked into the rift with you following behind.

Meanwhile

Ruby: Hey Snow!

Ruby quickly approached the white haired teen as they were in Beacon's library.

Snow: What's up, Ruby?

The red cloaked teen took a seat beside the leader of Team SJFR and looked around to make sure the coast was clear. Although, main person that was in sight but not within hearing range, was Lucius.

Ruby: I know her and the others pretty much just came back but... Doesn't Luci seem a little... Different?

Snow: What do you mean?

Ruby took a closer look at her team mate before turning back to Snow.

Ruby: Her hair... There's barely any black tips left.

Snow: Could it be that she simply cut her hair?

The silver eyed girl shook her head in response since it wasn't exactly the case.

Ruby: Just a few days ago, nearly a quarter of her hair was black now it's mostly white... And it's the same length! Not only that but her personality is a little different now!

Snow: Really? Well that's good to hear, I always knew she wasn't the scary type when I first spoke to her.

Ruby only looked at Lucius, who seemed to be humming a soft tune as she reached for a book. It was rather nice for the team leader to see her friend acting so calm.

Ruby: *in thought* So does this mean that you're really happy here?

Meanwhile

Jaune: Are you doing okay, sis?

The male Arc was currently visiting his bed ridden sister in Vale's hospital.

Joanna: Of course, it just gets a little boring here.

Pyrrha: I can imagine. It's awfully quiet when nobody is here.

Joanna: Well, for some reason, Ranger left me a few video games for my scroll... But I've never really played video games.

Jaune: Seriously?! Not even back home with our other sisters?

The female Arc only laughed nervously in response.

Joanna: Well I've spent a lot of time practicing with my weapons.

Pyrrha: *giggle* Just try not to become addicted.

All three of them laughed as they continued switching to different topics during their conversation. Although, Joanna felt a strange chill as the sound of thunder suddenly sounded outside.

Pyrrha: That's strange, the weather report stated that we were having clear skies.

Jaune: What are you talking about? Of course there's clear skies.

Pyrrha: Then how does it explain the sudden thunder?

They then turned to Joanna, who suddenly fainted on her bed. They were worried since it wasn't natural for the blonde teen to faint.

Jaune: Nurse!

Back With You

Raven: Now then, what was your question?

Both you and your mother were currently sitting beside a counter in an unknown restaurant. You didn't bother to pay attention to the location of the random village since you figured that she would send you back home after today.

(Y/N): So... How can you be so sure that you're my... Mom...

Raven: Because, our auras are similar to each other. Even when I was being controlled by that tainted aura, I was able to feel a sense of familiarity between us... As if we were family. Besides, not many others share the name. (Y/N).

(Y/N): I see... So... Who is my father and where have you been this whole time?!

The black haired woman simply sent you a spine chilling glare which made you really nervous.

Raven: Do not raise your voice at me, ever. Now to answer your questions, I'll begin with the latter. I cannot reveal all of where I have been and one of them involved taking up leadership in our tribe. Someone had to lead our people and I had to do what it takes.

(Y/N): ... Even...

Raven: Yes... Although, I wanted to see what you become after all of these years. If you truly were my own child. So we left you in an encampment of refugees that were evacuating from their former homes.

(Y/N): *in thought* Mother of the year... Least she didn't leave me for dead... Still... What the fuck?!

Raven: As for your father...

You listened very closely in hopes that you wouldn't miss any important details.

Raven: ... I can't say.

(Y/N): ... Huh?

She only looked at you with her red eyes before returning to her drink. It was rather difficult for her to explain since she kept it a secret for a long time.

Raven: I am unable to tell you the identity of your father because... You have no father.

You were confused by her words since it seemed unbelievable. How else were you conceived if you didn't have a father?

Raven: I was unsure what to make if it... For a while... I felt sick and unsure of my condition until I decided to see a doctor... That was when I discovered that I was pregnant... It was impossible because I had never been with anyone. Some were rather skeptical... Very few called it a miracle... I only pushed them aside and disappeared for months until you were born. I kept it from everyone since nobody would believe me. I've only come to a conclusion that you are something special... Your soul is older than that of a maiden's power... Almost as if your aura came from the middle ground between light and darkness.

This left you speechless as you simply looked down upon your plate of food. It was too much to take in since it was an explanation that you never expected in your entire life.

Raven: It's unbelievable, I know... But there is no doubt that you are my child. Only thing missing is a worthy blade of your own.

You simply chuckled before taking s sip from your drink and set it back on the table.

(Y/N): My gear has been with me ever since I left my old home... It isn't much but I've made them just as deadly as any of the other's unnecessarily flashy weapons.

Raven: Be that as it may, I will not be able to make up for all of these lost years. You've seen more than any of those students who were shut away from the real danger.

(Y/N): ... I've seen more than enough to believe that all of Remnant is against you whether you like it or not... It's monster taking in the form of grimm and select people.

Raven: Yes... Which is why you will be receiving a weapon from me, not immediately. It will take a while for our blacksmiths to forge something suitable for you.

(Y/N): ... Alright. Is it supposed to make up the lost years?

Raven: *in thought* It would be something for your troubles after saving me from being consumed by that demon...

The woman looked at you with soft eyes knowing that you were left all alone to fend for yourself. Perhaps it might have been guilt that she felt but something had to be done.

Raven: Perhaps... But it's a start. Although, I may need to speak with your sister.

(Y/N): ... My sister?

Meanwhile

Yang: Heh, you're pretty fast with that spear.

Rosada: *giggle* It's a lot heavier than it looks but you get used to it after a long time.

The pink haired faunus casually walked towards Yang with her spear in both hands. Both girls laughed after their little sparring session as they exited the arena. Rosada was against it at first but was promised some treats after the few rounds.

Rosada: You're a much faster fighter than Khalon.

Yang: Who?

Rosada: Khalon! He's a monk back home! He also specializes in hand to hand combat but he really packs a punch!

Yang smirked as she thought about having an equal in hand to hand combat.

Rosada: Anyways, so what are we having since you promised me treats?!

Yang: Easy there, we're going to pick up the others first and then we'll find a bakery. Although... How come you didn't want to fight in the first place?

Rosada: E-erm... I'm not really one to initiate a battle. I-I just fight when I need to!

Yang looked at the girl in suspicion before shrugging it off and continuing on their walk. The pink eyed teen nervously laughed since didn't want any to know that she was actually afraid of fighting.

Although, you suddenly appeared out of nowhere and immediately approached Yang.

Yang: What's up, (Y/N)!

You said nothing as you pointed your dagger towards her.

(Y/N): How about a match? Right now.

She was a little confused by the sudden approach but grinned since she knew that you are a skilled fighter.

Yang: Alright, you're on!

Small Timeskip

You and Yang were currently in the arena preparing for battle while Rosada was in the sidelines. It was rather strange at the fact that a pile of snacks wad beside her, perhaps she knew it was going to be quite the fight.

Yang: So why the sudden need for a spar?

You simply shrugged as you stood across from your opponent.

(Y/N): Lets start, shall we?

Yang: Let's go!

The both of you charged at each other with full speed and clashed directly in the middle. The both of you were at a small struggle of power until you jumped away from each other.

Once the both of you have landed, Yang was the first to strike as she quickly dashed forward. She threw a quick punch, which you easily dodged and sent her back a foot with a palm strike.

The blonde simply regained her footing and lunged for a set of attacks. You blocked the combination of punches with ease as she continued her assault. At the last jab, you ducked under her arm and retaliated with a rising knee attack that sent her a few feet above the ground. You ended the attack with a kick that sent her sprawling to the floor.

Yang quickly recovered on her feet and dusted herself.

Yang: Heh, not bad.

(Y/N): I can say the same to you.

You then dashed towards the teen and decided to attack more aggressive. She avoided your attacks but decided to throw in her own attacks in between. Even now, you were doing the same since you two were on even ground in combat.

(Y/N): Let's kick this up a notch!

You brought fourth your dagger and quickly activated your semblance in between attacks. Yang smirked as she activated her gauntlets, Ember Celica and began to fire her ranged shots.

You backed away and dodged to the sides as the sounds of bullets ricocheting across the floor can be heard. After avoiding one of the shots, you quickly leapt high into the air with a side flip while firing your fully automatic pistol at the blonde.

Yang ran to the side as the bullets trailed behind her but you anticipated these moments. Once you landed on your feet, you decided to turn up the heat by activating your semblance.

Yang: Going all out, huh?

(Y/N): Only a little.

Your gun was ignited in flame and began to move faster across the arena. Yang activated her semblance as well, although you were wise to not attack her. Still, you enjoy a challenge every once in a while.

You appeared in front of Yang and gave her a powerful punch to the gut that sent her sliding backwards. Of course, it didn't stop her as her eyes turned red from rage and lunged forward.

You let a grin form as you let your semblance take over and your eyes also turned red while you felt the heat starting to burn.

In an effort to end the battle, the both of you charged at each other with full speed. Once you two were directly in front of each other, the both of you sent a fist and simultaneously punched each other in the face.

End Music

Elsewhere

A dark rift opened in the ruined city of Mountain Glenn. Five shadowy figures emerged from the portal as a ruined building crumbled into pieces.

The sky was suddenly covered by a dark could, dimming the city even more as thunder began to roar.

???: Mountain Glenn, such a fitting place for our next arrival, don't you think?

The dark figure within the crowd let a sinister grin form across his face as he looked into the darkened skies.

???: Ahh, the nostalgia! Reminds of the first time I ripped out the heart of the one foolish enough to fall for "me".

The figure chuckled as lightning began to flash, revealing half of the stranger's face. The four other figures had angelic wings behind them as they stood by his side.

???: Go now, my angels! I've yet to return to my full power... Until then... I'll await here...

All four of them dispersed to explore Remnant as the cloaked figure retreated into a ruined building. His body began to burn as he chuckled to himself. As he stepped inside, he found a woman with white and golden hair.

???: Ahh, the messenger! How many times have we had this conversation?

The angel glared at the new arrival.

Gabriela: What do you mean? This is the first time we've met, impostor!

The man's arm began to catch a blue and black flame as he grabbed Gabriela by the neck. The woman grunted in pain as she was unable to escape.

???: Oh trust me, I've easily burned you away many times before and perhaps this wouldn't be the last. All I ask is for you to stay out of my way!

He released the woman and watched as she struggled for air. As she finally gasped in a breath, the woman only looked into the stranger's eyes.

Gabriela: *in thought* He doesn't belong... Neither do we but... His very existence is too much for this timeline. I can't go to Salem to deal with this... I need the help of somebody else!

She only revealed her wings before flying away from Mountain Glenn with great haste. Freedom from the impostor was in arms reach until four individuals blocked her path. Her eyes widened at the identity of the four as they resembled the same angels that were present in Remnant.

Gabriela: B-but you're-

???: Now, now let her gather the aid she needs. I'll be expecting that you bring my other self once I've regained my strength!

Gabriela: N-no I wasn't-

???: It doesn't matter how I know, as long as Salem isn't involved. Isn't that correct?

Gabriela's eyes widened in fear as she flew away even faster than ever.

Back With You

You and Yang were currently resting on the floor while breathing heavily from exhaustion. It had been quite the sparring match as the both of you were evenly matched.

Yang: *small laughter* Gotta say, never ended a fight in a draw.

(Y/N): hehe, never even thought a sparring match could be this exciting.

Yang: I'll say! We gotta do this again sometime!

You laughed as the two of you stood om your feet and fist bumped before exiting the arena. Yang went to collect, Rosada and left as well since they were supposed to meet the others.

The pink haired teen was ecstatic since she was finally able to spent time with her newfound friends.

(Y/N): *in thought* I guess it's better that I don't tell her...

You were walking across Beacon's halls with new thoughts inside of your mind. A lot more has happened than one would think since you have discovered a family that were right beside you.

You may have kept the secret with you but at least it's good to know that you weren't alone. Then again, it was never the case as you looked ahead to find Lucius and Blake quickly approaching you. Two beautiful women that would always stay by your side, yet you were never sure about your feelings.

Although, you noticed something odd about the fallen angel.

(Y/N): Hey, wasn't your hair a little bit more... Black?

Lucius was a little confused by your question but simply shrugged in response.

Lucius: I'm not sure what you mean but... I have felt rather different recently... As if a heavy weight was lifted from my shoulders.

Blake: You certainly seem to have changed.

(Y/N): Well, it shouldn't really matter. I'm thinking about heading into vale to grab some dinner, would any of you like to join me?

Blake/Lucius: Of course!

You smiled as you continued walking across the halls with the both of them following behind.

(Y/N): *in though* Blake... Lucius... You two have been by my side ever since we have acquainted with each other. For that I thank you.

As the three of you moved across the halls, you walked past a strange woman with white and golden hair. It glistened even in the shade as she disappeared around the corner.

(Y/N): *in thought* Feels like I met her before...

Just as the three of you walked out of Beacon, you were met with the other members of Team RWBYL and your own team, minus Joanna, awaiting for your arrival.

Ranger: Took you long enough! Yang decided to have a small get together between our teams.

Rosada: And me!

Snow: Yeah! We were going to visit Joanna in the hospital and bring her some pastries!

You let a small laugh escape before joining the others and every single one of them entered an airship.

As the aircraft took off, the same woman from before watched its departure from the landing pad.

Gabriela: Now is the time to strike yet... Why do I feel afraid?

The woman shook in her spot as she looked at her hand to find that she was looking through her hand.

Gabriela: His existence is already making an attempt to take us away... (Y/N)... Myself... Those that weren't from the original creator...

End of Season 1!

Hopefully for those that ade reading enjoyed it! Because I will return with this story! Also, I still haven't decided as to what the pairing will be in the end but I'm slowly leaning towards both! Just thought it'd be fun to have a little bit of a war before the confessions!

Next season will be more focused on Lucius.

This story will return in...
