SUFFOCATION

Sometimes I feel suffocated

not because there is lack of oxygen
but because there is lack of
love, affection and affirmation
Sometimes I feel suffocated
even at the "right place"
with the "right people"
it still feels suffocating
and that's the worst kind of suffocation
you can't tell anyone about it
you can't even ask for help
cause none can help you
none will even know that

when they are standing
right by your side
you are still dying
from inside
