(Bret's POV)

Sienna hasn't said a word since we left the park, and we've been at her house for the past hour. I cant belive she got so upset over seeing them. I mean there little kids what harm could they cause, they wouldn't notice anything being there hyper selves.  

"Come on Sienna. Nothing happened." I said as I looked at her. "Your my best friend right now Sienna. Please just talk to me."

"They said I looked like their mom before she left. Before she left to get help." Sienna whispered as she looked at her hands. "And their right. I didn't want them to see me so week, Bret. I know I am or was dying on the inside but I didn't want to them to see im dying on the outside." I watched as her face crumbled into defeat.

I wrapped an arm around her thin waist and pulled her body closer to mine. Wrapping my around her, as she cried into my shirt. God why didn't anybody see how broken she was inside sooner. How could she have hid this so well?

"Sienna what exactly made you so ill?" I ask as I Tighten my hold around her. God knows how much she had been hiding.

"I-I had a blood cancer."She stated as she tore her body away from me. "I still have blood cancer but with the treatment my mom had done when I fell was only the beginning or its the end" She stated.

"What do you mean its only the beginning or the end?"

"Well I also have a heart defect which means I might need a heart transplant in the fallowing months. If I don't keep going in and having surgery for my blood to be replaced and take my medication until I'm 100% okay I could possibly go to sleep one day and never wake up"

I stared at her with wide eyes. How could she hide this from everyone?

"Damn... How many people know about All of this exactly?" I asked wanting to clarify who actually knew and still didn't give her the love and support she needed.

"My mom, dad, step-mother, you, doctors, and that's it." She stated as she looked at her fingers as she counted off the people. "About 5 people maybe a little more."

"Wow"

"Yeah. If my mom hadn't gotten the treatment then I'd probably be dead in a few weeks. I still could be but now its not as likely." She stated as she stared off at the TV. Trying to distract her self from the utter truth of life. "So, who is Mona?" She asks.

"She's my younger sister. Well half sister but my sister none the less. I hadn't seen her in a month" I stated as I looked at her. I watched as she nodded but kept her focus on the TV the whole time.

"oh. Do you think she will tell Elijah about me? About how bad I look?" Sienna asked in a shaky voice as she looked over at me. Her eyes where filled with tears as she grimaced. Honestly I didn't know what or if Mona was going to talk to Elijah about Sienna as she has had a huge crush on him and Luke for ages, but they always saw her as a little sister or cousin.

"No I don't think she will. I mean there's a possibility but highly unlikely." I stated as I wiped a tear away that had escaped her eyes. "Don't worry Sienna. Everything will be okay" I whispered. God only knows if that's the truth.
