~~~~Eric's POV~~~~

        I spent the whole day locked in my room working on the plan to have Daniel cheat on Rosie. I already figured out who he would cheat on her with. That person would be Brigid. This would hurt her more because not only would her husband be cheating on her, but he would cheat on her with her best friend. 

        How to go about this. How to not leave tracks. How to get them together. How to get Rosie to catch them together. Would Brigid even go through with this? Will she do as I say? Would she be willing to hurt her best friend even if I threatened her? I shook the negative thoughts out of my head. Of course she will do as I say. She will obey me if she knows what is good for her. 

        But what if Rosie finds out? I thought. How will Rosie find out? I thought again. Brigid could tell her. I thought I reply. Was I going mad? Surly having a conversation in your head with yourself was a sign of madness. I shook my head. I needed to get back on track with my plan. It needs to happen soon. I will not lose her again. Not this time.

        I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door. "Mr. DePhant, do you need anything?", Brigid asked as she stuck her head in. I internally smirked an evil smirk when I saw her. "No, Brigid, I am fin, but I do have a question to ask you.", I replied, trying to hide the evilness in my voice.

        She gave me an odd look, almost as if she was scared. Oh, she should be very scared. I thought. She slowly came further into the room and closed the door and locked it before she started to untying the strings of her dress. My eyes widened. What is she doing? What are you doing", I said stopping her. This wasn't what I meant. She gave me a questioning look before saying, "Sir, isn't this what you wanted me to do?"

        I quickly shook my head and she began to retie the strings. "What do you want me to do then", she asked."I want you to help me to help me with a little project that I am working on." I proceeded to tell her my plan. Her face held no expression and that scared me.

        Would she tell or would she stay quiet? She hat to know that she couldn't tell anyone. Not even Rosie. "Brigid, you know that you can't tell Rosie this plan.", I told her. Still her face remained expressionless, but she did nod her head to tell me that she understood. I waved my hand dismissing her and she left. When she left, I began to regret telling her now, but I couldn't take it back. It was too late.

~~~~Brigid's POV~~~~

        I couldn't believe it. How could he do that to Rosie? Couldn't he see how happy she was with Daniel? I could never do that to her. I never agreed that I would help him. I have to tell Daniel. When I came upon Daniel's room, I knocked. There was no answer. I knocked again. Still there was no answer. I knocked again a third time and said, "Daniel, please open the door. It's important."

        Suddenly the door opened quickly, revealing a tired and angry Daniel. "What. What is so important that you had to wake me up?", he asked. I was used to his many mood swings and wasn't fazed at all. "It's about Rosie. Her father thought of a plan to break you two apart. He wants you and I to cheat on Rosie. I could never do that and I thought it was best to tell you.", I said in one breath.

        Daniel's eyes were filled with fury. "What do you mean?", he all but yelled. The only thing to keep him from yelling was a sleeping Rosie inside the room. "I will personally deal with this man, but now I will return to bed. Thank you for telling me. The man shall never know that you told me." I nodded my head a scurried off to go back to work.

~~~~Daniel's POV~~~~

        That low-life scoundrel. How dare he try to wreck my marriage. He will not get away with this. I will make him pay, and when I am finished with him, he will know the full power of my wrath. He will never mess with my family again. "On my honor, I swear he will never mess with my family again", I said aloud to myself. 

        I turned and made my way back into my room and back to Rosie. Once back inside my room, I got back in bed and wrapped my arms around Rosie. She soon snuggled up to me and I kissed her forehead and rested my head on hers and soon drifted back off to sleep.
