"You'll be ok, Rosie. It's just a little bump.You'll probably have a headache in the morning though.", Daniel said. I felt the wetness of a clothon my head and then I blacked out.

~~~~The Next Day~~~~

I woke up with a throbbing pain in my head and a stinging pain in my cheek. Then last night's events came back into my mind. Eric had found me and he wanted to take me home. I got up out of bed and made my way downstairs.

As I reached the ground floor, a somewhat burning smell filled my nose. I made my way into the kitchen to see Daniel attempting to cook and Felicity covered in flour. "What is going on here?", I asked. Daniel and Felicity both stopped what they were both doing and stared at me. Daniel looked at me with his eyes as big as saucers.

"Rosie, um, what are you going up?", he asked. Daniel was frozen in his tracks and was scared out of his mind. I wasn't mad. He probably thought I was too, but I wasn't. "I'm not mad, Daniel, if that's what you are thinking. I was hungry and needed to get up.", I said back as I leaned up against the door frame. Daniel let out the long breath he had been holding.

l laughed at him as his expression changed from scared to one of relief. My laughter soon stopped when Daniel moved his eyes to me and I instantly got scared as he got a troublesome look in his eyes. "Daniel, don't.", I warned, but he didn't listen. A mischieveious smirk played on his lips and he started to move closer to me, slowly.

I began to back out of the kitchen until he got closer to me and I started to run, but of course, he ran after me and caught me. Lifting me up and holding me close to him as he spun me around and tickled me.

"Daniel, sto-stop. I ca-can't brea-breath. Pl-please, Dan-Daniel.", I stuttered as he tickled me. "Tell me you love me.", he said. "I lo-love you." "Who is the best husband in the world?" "You are. Now please stop."

Daniel soon stopped tickling me and wrapped his ars around me and planted tiny kisses on my lips, face and nose. "I love you, Rosie. You know that right?", he said. I looked up at him considering that he was at least a foot taller than me. "I love you, too. I don't know whatI would do without you." He leaned down and gently placed his lips on mine.

I loved this. I loved the feeling he gave me when he kissed me. Wen we kissed, I felt sparks run through my body. When our lips separated we gaved into each other's eyes lovingly. The sound of the bell on the front door made our eyes break apart. We both pulled apart and Daniel placed one more kiss on my forehead before walking off to great out customer.

I went back into the kitchen to fix breakfast and clean Felicity up, but stopped when I heard Daniel yelling. This couldn't be good. "Felicity, why don't you go upstairs and run a bath, ok?", I asked the young girl. She nodded her head eagarly and run upstairs. I quickly made my way into the lobby to see Daniel yelling at Eric.

"I told you yesterday, that I didn't want to see your face here ever again.", he said. "But I am her father. I have a right to see her.", Eric said back. "I don't care who you are. You threatened my family. You hurt my wife. Like it or not, she and I are bound in holy matrimony and you can't do anything about it, now leave."

"Daniel, stop. Let me talk to him.", I said. Daniel stopped yelling and looked at me. "Rosie, I will not let you near this man. Not after what happened last night. He could've killed you. I will not let him hurt you.", he said. "At least let me talk to him.", I tried to reason with him. "Fine. But I am staying here with you.", he agreed.

"Why are you here?", I asked Eric. Eric looked sad for a moment, but tried to cover it up. "I am not here for you. Since I am here and have no place to stay, I am here to rent a room. Here, I can pay for a weks rent.", he said holding up a pouch of gold coins. Daniel took the pouch and dumped it on the desk to count. As he counted, his eyes widened. "SIr, this is more than a weeks rent.", he said.

"I know. The rest is a bonus to make sure that my daughter is taken care of.", Eric replied. Daniel gestured for Eric to sign the guest book and handed him his key. "Here, I'll show you to your room.", I said and led Eric upstairs.
