I walk around the clearing, my head low and looking around for my mother. She is an dark red fire dragon called Flame.

"Mommy!" I said, my voice shaking from holding back tears as she looked for the drangan who has been her best friend ever since birth.

I looked up when a giant shadow appeared above me. Mommy! She thought excitedly as she saw the familiar looking shape as it slowly lowered.

Flame laned next to her. The full grown dragon taking up more than half of the clearing, leaving Cinder a small space to make her comfortable. "Darling, you have to stop wandering around, a human is going to find you." Her mother's voice was filled with concerned and her eyes wide.

"I thought they were all gone and died." I said confused as her small furry ears flickers.

"Yes, but only the ones that aren't from this country is exploring this land, you heard what Sun said yester." She said nuzzling her daughter with her soft gigger beak.

"Oh, and I was out her to get away from the other hatchlings.." Cind said softly her ears pressing against her head.

"You have to stand up for yourself Cinder."

"They called my half fire again." She whisper. She couldn't help but wish she didn't look like her mother. Her mother was a standard fire dragon, her bright red scales and the blue sol piece shining bright. But with Cinder She was completely different from her mother. She had bright red scales like her mother, but her under belly,chest, and tail where a dark blue, hair fluffy ears made to resist the freezing cold that she was never around and probably won't be ever in her life. Her mother's voice brought her back to reality.

"That's because there jealous of you and your power." She said her voice soothing.

"Ya, you told me that like a million times mom."

"I know, just let's go home Cinder it'll make me feel better."

"Okay mom." She said her voice soft as she nods and starts to lead her way back to camp.
