It was the middle of the movie when we heard the noise. Damn it, we were so close to surviving a whole movie without an interruption.  I looked back and saw the door on the floor.

“Fudgenutters!” Elysia yelled jumping up. We all automatically got out our stakes.

“Ok, whoever this idiotic demon is, who could’ve just OPENED the door not BREAK it, come show yourself!” I screamed rightly pissed off. Someone walked through the door with a machine gun. What the hell? Oh, he was no demon. He put the gun towards us. Wow, I always thought I would die by a demon. Fate’s a bitch. Gun shots were all I heard and I remember myself ducking. I looked up. The guy had missed; he shot the wall. All of a sudden he starts laughing wildly. What the hell is going on?  

“Oh my god-ah-I can’t stop laughing. You guys were all, oh my god we’re going to die! Gasp! And did nothing, funny!” he said while all of our mouths hung down. Someone else walked in. It was Max-John’s son. John is the head of us, the demon hunters. Well the group in our town. (The demon hunters kill demons and protect humans, and help keep the world away from chaos, and blah blah, I’d give you a flyer, but you know.)  I glared at Max. He was only 18 and thought he was in charge of everything because his dad is too lazy to deal with us, the younger hunters. He’s been pissing me off since childhood.

“I was bored, so I decided to give you guys a test and you guys failed. Anyways, I would like you to meet a new transfer; guys this is Mikey,” Max said and pointed to the guy with the gun.

 “Oh my god, he’s so hot!” Elysia yelled. The thing about her, she just blurts out what she thinks-no filter, I suppose. Mikey just chuckled. I’m starting to get annoyed of him already.

 “Ok yeah, this has all been fun and shit, but Max come over here,” I said calmly but with menace. I could see Max is freaked out. Max knows my evil ways. Well, not demon evil but ah I think you get the gist of it.

“You’re going to have to pay for my door and my walls,” I said.

 “No way!”

 “Does your dad approve of this test?”

 “Well I didn’t um I forgot to ask well you see I um,” he stuttered.

 “Exactly, so you better pay for these and if any cops come you deal with it, ok?” I said then smiled a fake smile. He nodded.

“That’s my girl!” Adrian said snaking his arms around my waist. I smiled and turned to my best friends but Elysia was too busy staring-and drooling if I may add-at Mikey, and Danni was too busy doing the same to Max. Danni’s had a crush on Max since I could remember. Even though Max annoys the hell out of me, I think both of them would make a great couple. They’re both very smart and like to take control of things. Plus, Max- despite his control issues- is a good guy and would treat her right.

“Oh and my father would like to have a meeting tomorrow with all the demon hunters of this town. I just wanted to let you guys know,” Max said. I have a plan.

“Well that’s great. Let me have a sleepover tonight, just us the young hunters. We can go to the meeting tomorrow. Oh, it will be very fun,” I said smiling evilly. Adrian looked at me knowingly. I just smiled sweetly at him.

“Uh, objection, I’ve got better things to do,” Max said crossing his arms. I walked over to Danni.

“Girl, use your flirting ways and get him to come,” I whispered to her.

“Uh, no thanks,” she said awkwardly. I gave her “the look”.

“OK, ok I will, but you owe me,” she said. I knew Max also liked Danni, but both of them were too dumb to admit it.

“Aw come on Max. It will be very fun,” she said putting on a flirty smile and putting her hand on his shoulder. Mikey looked very bored.

“Uh, I suppose I can,” he stuttered then smiled.

“Yay! Get your stuff everyone and Max… fix my door!” I yelled.

Muahaha let the plan begin.
