Chapter 10- hunters got to party sometime too
The doorbell rang, and I answered it. Danni, Max, Elysia, and Mikey walked in the house all cheerful.
“Party! Woot woot! Party!” they were chanting and I chuckled.
“Where’s Sam?” I asked. We were all going to carpool and go to the party Adrian was hosting. The party was a random one, the purpose being to “hang out” with high school friends, and forget everything for a night. His parents were out of town and his house was huge, so it was the perfect opportunity. We were going to go early and help Adrian out.
“She said she wanted to go later, because she’s going to bring a date,” Elysia said smirking and Max was glaring at her.
“I want to see who’s this tough guy, who thinks he can go out with my sister,” Max mumbled. Danni sighed and shook her head.
“We’re both wearing tutus! Woo!” said Elysia with excitement. I chuckled. I was dressed in a black and white striped tank top, a black tutu, black and white stockings and knee-high black and white converse. I was wearing almost every bracelet I owned. It was a fun outfit. Elysia was wearing black combat boots, black and grey striped long socks, a black and green tutu, and a black t-shirt with a camouflage vest. She also had on black fingerless gloves. Her teased hair was in two ponytails. Danni was dressed in black leggings, white booty shorts, gray and black high heels, a long white t-shirt, and a black jacket. She had a hippie head band in her hair. Max was just Max with a button down t-shirt, jeans, and vans.

I rang the doorbell for the fifth time. I started getting bored. I could see I wasn’t the only one. Elysia was on her I-Pod and Mikey was smoking.
“Your boyfriend is lazy,” Max said.
“That’s not my fault,” I groaned.
“Well then why don’t you call him?”
“Why do you think I have my phone out, idiot?”
“I don’t know! Maybe you-,” Max started but stopped because Danni was flopping on the floor. All of us stopped what we were doing and stared at Danni. She finally stopped and stood up fixing her outfit.
“Dude, that was too weird. Even for us,” I said.
“I did that to make you guys stop fighting, gosh!” she said now blushing a little.
“Anyways, back to getting in Adrian’s house. Adrian! Get your lazy ass out of bed!” I yelled knowing he’s probably still asleep. I sighed and called Adrian.
“I just want to jump! JUMP!” his phone blared.
We could hear it from all the way here. Then we heard a thump and some cursing. I imagined Adrian falling and started laughing. I rang the doorbell again. The door opened and out in front of us was a confused looking Adrian. He was only in boxers and his hair was crazy.
“What the hell? Why are you guys here so early in the morning?” he asked.
“Dude, it is 4 pm!” Max exclaimed.
“Some people just don’t get it,” Adrian mumbled.
*******
“I’m sexy and I know it!” Adrian sang swinging his shirt in one hand and balancing a beer bottle in the other.
“Adrian put on your shirt!” I yelled over the music.
“But-but- I’m too sexy for it!” he said. I gave him “the look”.
“Fine,” he said and put it on but continued to be crazy which I was ok with. I went to the kitchen to go grab a soda and what I saw truly shocked me. It was Sam making out with Elysia’s older brother, Alan, who is supposed to be in New York, going to his third year in university. I rubbed my eyes and thought hard. Had I drunk any beers? I hadn’t.
“Oh my god!” I yelled. They broke apart, barely realizing I was here.
“Oh, Amy, um hi,” Sam said smiling nervously.
“You never told us your date was Alan!” I said pointing an accusing finger to Elysia’s older brother.
“Because I knew your reaction would be like this!” Sam exclaimed.
“Honestly, I don’t care. I’m just kind of hurt you didn’t tell me. It should be Elysia you’re worried about,” I said starting to walk out.
“Wait, I’m sorry! I promise I’ll tell her at a better time,”Sam said.
“How’d you two meet up? Since when have you been going out?” I asked curiously.
“I’ll tell you the details later, when I tell Elysia about us,” Sam said.
“On other news, how have you been Amy?” Alan asked me. I smiled at him.
“As good as I’ll ever be,” I said.
“Well, you’re pretty good considering your life revolves around the devil’s kin,” he said.
“Dude, I missed you,” I said hugging him. He was like the older brother I didn’t have.
“I missed you too. Is Elysia fine?” he asked pulling away. I nodded.
“Alan Maurus, is that you?” asked a voice. I looked and saw this fake blonde girl, who looked like a mess.
“Erm, yeah,” Alan said.
“I haven’t seen you since senior year,” she said giggling. Clearly she was drunk.
“That was a wonderful night,” she said giggling more. Alex looked very uncomfortable. Sam looked outraged. I was just standing there feeling very awkward. I guess Adrian truly had invited everyone. That explains the age difference of everyone here. The girl got closer to Alex.
“Go away please,” Alan said pushing her away.
“Oh Alan, what happened to you? Oh, are you with her now?” the girl asked indicating Sam. Here comes a fight.
“Yes, yes he is, and I would suggest getting your drunken ass out of here and finding a guy who’s willing to bang you!” Sam yelled. Sam doesn’t take any shit from anyone.
“Whatever,” the girl said flipping her hair, and walked away. I predicted an argument about to happen, so I excused myself and went back to the living room. This dude -who I’ve never seen before- was trying to glue bread to the ceiling. I stared at him confused and wondered his intentions. I shrugged and walked away. I ducked as a roll of toilet paper came flying my way. As I was trying to find someone I knew, I crashed into Eddie.
“Oh, I’m sorry! Wait, Amy is that you?” he asked. I nodded.
“I wanted to talk to-.”
“Yeah, I’m kind of busy right now,” I said and started walking away. He looked really pissed off, but I didn’t care. I mean, why should I be nice to him? Great, he made me angry. I need something to drink.
