Arianne wrote some notes in the stave with her violin resting by her side. She was adding the last touches to her new original song, the one she was going to play the next day on the second round of the competition. She was quite proud of how it had turned out, and she decided to name it 'Gateway'.

"It's done!" she said excited, dropping the pen on the table "Now all that's left is to practice it!"

"You're going to do great, Aria! I'm sure of it!" said Ayu, floating in front of her, and making the girl chuckle silently.

"Thanks, Ayu" she replied with a smile "I really hope so. I really want to win this"

She would get the chance to record her own album if she did win! She really wanted to do it!

It would be hard, of course, 'cause she was competing against violinists from all around the world, and some of them, or most of them, were extremely talented. They had been practicing for more years than her, and that was saying something, 'cause she had been playing since she was ten.

"And you will! I believe in you!" encouraged the kwami. Arianne smiled, lucky that she had someone like Ayu with her. He was a very encouraging and cheerful kwami, and she couldn't ask for anyone better, really.

At that moment, her cellphone rang. It was Thiago.

"Bonjour, Thiag" she replied, placing the stave in a notebook she had, where she kept all her songs. Covers and originals.

"I've been waiting for you for like ten minutes!" he complained, making Arianne chuckle slightly at his impatience "Where are you?"

"Sorry, I was finishing my song" she and Thiago were planning on going to the movies together.

"Well, hurry up already!" he urged "I ran into someone that I think you might be happy to see" Arianne frowned curiously upon hearing that.

"Who?" she questioned, closing the violin case.

"You'll have to come and see for yourself!" Arianne rolled her eyes, though she was smiling.

"Alright. I'll be there in a few minutes. Au revoir" she ended the call, grabbed her bag, and went off to the subway.

She found Thiago easily, since there weren't many people, and he wasn't alone. Adrien was with him.

"You could've just told me that Adrien was here" she said logically, approaching the boys, who turned to look at her and smiled.

"I told him the same thing" replied her friend "But he just wouldn't listen"

"Of course not" added Arianne good-heartedly "He only listens to himself "

"Hey!" Thiago cried, making both of them chuckle "When you're done bullying me, I was thinking that Adrien could come to the movies with us!"

"Yeah, sure" replied Arianne without a second thought. She loved spending time with him. 

"That sounds great!" Adrien smiled just as the subway arrived, and the trio got in.

As soon as the doors closed, Arianne spotted Marinette and Alya on the next subway car. She waved at them, and they waved back. She then proceeded to nudge Adrien and gesture towards the girls. He looked at them, and waved. Marinette opened her eyes wide and hid behind Alya, while she waved uncomfortably.

"That's physically painful to watch" commented Arianne, cringing a bit as she looked at Marinette awkwardly waving at Adrien on the other compartment of the subway, probably because Alya had forced her to.

"Painful as in 'oh my god, what are you doing?' or as in 'I'm in love with my best friend but I don't want to tell him because I'm a masochist'?" asked Thiago, to which Arianne rolled her eyes.

"You know very well why I don't want to tell him" she pointed out, looking at her friend with a disapproving look.

"Yeah, because you're a masochist" 

Just then, a blue light engulfed Alya, and transformed her into Lady WiFi. The trio opened their eyes wide upon seeing that; Thiago recognised Lady WiFi, since Arianne had told him everything about that day, and about other villains they had faced before he moved to France.

Lady WiFi told Marinette something, before surfing out of the compartment on a fast-forward button. Arianne went off to transform, and so did Adrien and Thiago.

"That was Lady WiFi, right?" questioned Thiago to Adrien as they hid behind a wall.

"Yeah" Adrien nodded in confirmation "But Ladybug destroyed that akuma. I don't know what happened!"

"Well, we better find out. Quick!" both boys transformed and went back to the station, to find Marinette still staring at the direction in which Lady WiFi had headed.

"Hey" Tigre placed a hand on her shoulder, startling her a bit as she turned around "Did that villain say anything to you?"

"I think you should ask her if she's okay first" a new voice spoke up, and they looked behind Marinette to find Loup d'Argent staring at them "Are you okay?" 

"I'm fine" replied Marinette "But...I'm not sure, but her voice belonged to a little girl I babysit. It was as if she was controlling my friend Alya...I-I mean, Lady WiFi from a distance! This is so weird..."

"And what was all that talk about dolls?" questioned Tigre Blanco curiously.

"I've got some dolls at home that she likes to play with" replied Marinette softly.

"Your dolls?" questioned Chat Noir "Okay, where do you live?" she gave them the direction of her house, and the trio went off.

"Hey, guys!" Ladybug called from the balcony of the building as she waved at her partners "Up here!" the trio was soon besides her, and the both got inside the building, where Lady WiFi was already stealing Marinette's dolls "Puppeteer!" called Ladybug "Such a shame! It's really not nice to steal from your babysitter!"

"No one ever taught you manners?" added Loup, folding her arms in disapproval.

"Soon I'll get your miraculouses, you goody-two shoeses" said Lady WiFi, or whoever it was.

"There's only one goody-two shoes around here, and I'm not her!" replied Tigre Blanco, looking at Ladybug out of the corner of his eyes with a playful grin. Her friend just glared at him.

"Freeze!" yelled Lady WiFi, and threw a pause symbol towards Chat Noir, who diverged it towards one of the magazine covers where Adrien appeared in. The wolf girl furrowed her eyebrows.

"I always hated that cover anyway" she said to Tigre Blanco in a low voice.

"You hate all of the covers he appears in" he said logically, and Arianne had to agree.

"Remember how we defeated Lady WiFi the first time?" asked Ladybug, blocking Lady WiFi's throws with her yoyo. She desperately wanted the boys out of her room as soon as possible.

"Take out the WiFi signal!" replied Chat Noir "We're on it!" he grabbed Tigre Blanco, and they went off, leaving the two girls behind. Ladybug threw her yoyo against the bag Lady WiFi had, making all the dolls fall down to the floor, and she then grabbed the Ladybug doll.

As Lady WiFi was distracted by the fallen dolls, Loup slid through the floor and grabbed the Tigre Blanco doll. As she jumped back to stand next to Ladybug, a pause symbol was thrown her way, and she was frozen mid-air.

Then, Lady WiFi threw another pause symbol towards Ladybug, freezing her, too.

As she was about to take Ladybug's miraculous, Chat Noir took out the WiFi signal. Ladybug managed to throw Lady WiFi away from her, and Loup fell to the floor with a loud sound.

"Ouch" that was all she said, before standing up. Lady WiFi was going to throw another symbol at Ladybug, but she didn't have her phone anymore, Ladybug did. She threw it on the floor and stomped it, but no akuma came out of it "Why didn't that work?" questioned the wolf girl with a frown. Ladybug couldn't answer, because a desk was thrown her way, and she had to dodge it. When she stood up again, Lady WiFi was gone.

Both girls landed on the street outside the bakery, but they didn't see Lady Wifi anywhere.

"Did you capture the akuma?" questioned Chat Noir, as he and Tigre Blanco landed on the pavement in front of the girls.

"She didn't have one" replied Ladybug, making both boys open their eyes with surprise.

"How's that possible?" questioned Tigre Blanco.

"She's controlled by Puppeteer!" Ladybug suddenly came to a conclusion "She must have the akuma!"

"Lady WiFi is nothing but a puppet!" Chat Noir finished the idea, before gasping "Please tell me one of you got our dolls"

"Sorry" replied Ladybug, taking out the Ladybug doll "Only this one" Chat Noir looked at Loup hopefully, who felt very bad upon seeing his face.

"I'm sorry" she replied, and tossed the Tigre Blanco doll to Tigre Blanco "That was the only one I could get"

"What? Why didn't you get yours?" questioned Tigre surprised.

"If something happens to Ladybug, you can save that poor girl who's akumatized" she replied  "I can't" Tigre Blanco could de-evilize the akuma, but Loup could only save the person, the akuma would still be free.

"We better find Puppeteer fast before she gets the other dolls!" replied Chat Noir "And us" his ring then flashed.

"Kitty, you gotta go!" urged Loup "You're about to transform back!"

"Don't let he make me a puppet" he replied, doing a puppet-like posture before going off. As they watched after him, Ladybug called Manon's mom to let her know of the situation at hand.

"She's still here at the building!" announced Ladybug, as she went over all the cameras of the station. The trio had a suspicion the Puppeteer was there, and they were right.

"Okay, you all need to get out!" indicated Tigre Blanco "It's not safe here!"

"No, I want to find my daughter!" argued Manon's mom, and Loup grabbed her softly from the arm to stop her from going off.

"We'll find her, Mrs. Shamack" assured the girl "But it will help us more if we know that you are all safe" Mrs. Shamack blinked, and then nodded with a smile.

The trio then went to the hallway, to see if they could find Puppeteer, when Ladybug's phone rang.

"Have you located her?" questioned Chat Noir, who seemed like he was running.

"Inside the Kids+ TV building" replied Ladybug.

"Got it!" he said with determination, and ended the call. He needed to get there as fast as he could.

After some minutes, Loup felt a hand on her shoulder. She grabbed it and curled it behind the person's back.

That person was Chat Noir.

"I'm okay" he replied "Not a puppet yet. But I'd like to find the akuma before that changes"

"Me too" replied Loup, letting go of him "Sorry, kitty"

The quartet scurried backwards to get a good running start, and started counting. When the counting reached three, the four of them kicked the doors open, but they froze when they saw the scene.

"Loup d'Argent, come to life!" exclaimed Puppeteer, gesturing at the doll with her wand. The violinist opened her eyes wide and jumped to try and get the doll back, but it was too late.

She was now under the control of Puppeteer. And the same thing happened to Chat Noir, even though he tried to prevent it, too.

"Guys, no!" exclaimed the remaining two, with their dolls hanging from their outfits.

"Give us those dolls!" the duo gestured towards the other half of the quartet as they said that "We're gonna get your miraculous!"

"Not so fast!" yelled Ladybug. She wrapped her yoyo around the spotlights, and flipped behind the akumatized/possessed people "The akuma must be in the wand!" she realised, and proceeded to wrap her string around Tigre's wrist, before dragging him to the light holders "Tigre, get the wand!"

"You got it!" replied the tiger, and threw his boomerang towards Puppeteer's hand, the one that was holding the wand. He didn't get it, though, 'cause Loup jumped up and blocked it. Tigre cringed in pain when he saw that "Sorry, Loup" he replied, as the boomerang returned to him.

The doors then were opened, and Rogercop and Evillustrator got in.

"Hey, no fair!" exclaimed Tigre "That's two against five!"

"The dolls!" yelled Puppeteer "Get them!" all the possessed people charged towards Ladybug, who was on the floor, while Evillustrator erased the light holders, making Tigre fall down. Thankfully, he managed to attach a rope to a pipe and land down unharmed next to Ladybug. He saw duct tape nearby and grabbed it, before running off towards the roof.

"We need to get rid of them first. Then Puppeteer" announced Ladybug, and Tigre nodded. As Ladybug turned on the lights, Tigre was quick enough to wrap duct tape around Evillustrator and Robocop, trapping them.

Then, he ran towards Chat Noir, who enlarged his staff to hit him, but he jumped onto the end of it and threw him down the side of the building.

"The doll!" Ladybug yelled to Tigre Blanco, who threw it towards her immediately "If you want these dolls so badly, come and get them!" that being said, she threw them far away, managing to make Lady WiFi go after them. The only one left now was Loup d'Argent.

"I'll take care of her!" Tigre Blanco announced, looking at Ladybug "You should go after Puppeteer!"

"Okay. Good luck!" wished Ladybug, before going off.

"Oh, the kitty comes out to play!" mocked the girl, making Tigre grit his teeth at being called a cat.

"That pains me, you know" he said, pretending to be offended "I would expect it from Ladybug, but from you? It offends me!"

"As if I care" replied Loup d'Argent, and both heroes were soon immersed in a fight.


"Ugh, I'm going to need medical attention after this" groaned the boy once the fight finished, rubbing his arm painfully. He looked over at a knocked-out Loup d'Argent, and felt guilty. This was still his best friend after all.

He carried her bridal-style towards the inside of the building, and tied her up against a hidden column before approaching Ladybug.

"What did you do to her?" questioned Ladybug curiously, upon seeing their partner like that.

"Fought her, probably broke several bones, but won" replied Tigre Blanco, and then his gaze stood on the power strip in his partner's hand "What are you planning on doing with that?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out" replied the girl. She looked around to see what she could, in fact, do with it.

"You've lost, Ladybug!" exclaimed Puppeteer.

Ladybug finally realised what she could do, and, needless to say, that she defeated all of them in minutes.

"Woah" breathed out Tigre Blanco, upon seeing the scene. Ladybug had frozen everybody with one of the pause symbols Lady WiFi threw against her. Ladybug walked casually towards Puppeteer, grabbed the wand, de-evilize the akuma and returned everything to normal "That was amazing"

"Ugh, what happened?" Tigre turned around, to find Loup d'Argent awake "My head hurts" she then noticed the ropes tying her up "Why am I tied up?"

"It's a long story" replied Tigre, as he untied the girl, and they both approached their teammates "You know..." he spoke up, looking at Ladybug "You have to admit that we made a pretty good team back there" 

"I'm not admitting anything" she said stubbornly, making Tigre give her a 'seriously?' look "But...you're right. We did"
