It was surprising to actually get to Hawks agency with Keigo and then to his office. Huge... very huge and spacious for sure. Definitely made so he could fly around if he needed too. This was however not the point why I was here. After the hospital, Hawks lead me to his agency and then his office, while I was simply following him completly confused. He didn't wanted to tell me anything until we got to his office. It was then that he gave me some paper to read without a single word.

"Contract...."

Me: What is this?

Hawks: Just read it.

Me: A contract?

Hawks: Continue...

Me: Contract of Employment.

Hawks: Mh!

Me: What do you mean with this employment contract?

Hawks: Exactly what I mean.

Me: ... You can't be serious! I am still underaged.

Hawks: True that which is why I need your mothers signature as well on this. 

Me: ..... and then?

Hawks: You will be my little employe.

Me: What am I supposed to do?

Hawks: Help me with office stuff and do some analysis.

He definitely did his homework since he knew that my analytical skills were top notch. No one ever said anything about them but he... this chicken... he did. Not only did he mention them but he was ready to actually employ a quirkless kid too.

Me: You don't even know my skills, do you?

Hawks: I don't have too. I watched you at the sports festival and I know exactly how good you are on judging a situation as well as analyse your opponent's. Trust an heroes judgement.

I couldn't help it right now.... everyone would have doubt him at this moment. This was just so out of the blue. But if the last two days showed me one thing, then it was that he did know exactly what he was doing and he knew me well just by observing me. Maybe we were not too far off. 

Me: Would I need to work with any hero?

Hawks: This is a hero agency.... your work will come into heroes hands but you wouldn't direct work with them.

Me: I am fine with that.

Hawks: Do you want anything? I included a salery, a place to stay, insurence, and everything which is important. You are someone I treasure and trust me kiddo, your skills are very rare. It would be such a waste not to get them for myself.

Me: Where do I sign?

Hawks: Pardon?

Me: Sign. Where do I put my signature on it?

Hawks: You didn't even read through this contract.

Me: I don't have too.

Hawks: Are you sure?

Me: Yes.... you are offering me so much, I doubt this would be a slave contract.

Hawks: It's not! How can you even think.... it was a joke wasn't it?

Me: Yeah....

It really didn't take to be a detective to know how much he cared for me and he did use his time to stick with me. Finally it was my turn to give back. After all just in two days he made me feel happy, made me laugh from the bottom of my heart and feel exitment. All these were emotions I thought I had forgotten again. Now if there was one thing I knew... then that he could make me feel alive again. He could make me feel emotions and not this empty anymore. I already decided to give this life he was offereing me a shot. 

After I signed, Hawks kinda told me to wait in his office before he actually left in a hurry.

I wonder how my life will be from now on.

He is offering me a job... a place and even money...

Am I really this precious... am I really worth it?

I don't wanna doubt him but I do...

How can he not be disguasted..... if he would, he would have dropped me for sure.

What does he see in me?

It's really quite puzzling but I think I might like it here....

I walked around the room as I was alone in there and found a small mirror. To tell the truth, I was shocked seeing myself. Never did I see myself in a mirror and be this shocked. Not only was I not faking my expression right now but I was actually smiling. It was a small and warm smile and my expression looked quite relieved. 

Wow.... what a difference.... am I really smiling... wow...

Guess I like it here.

Can't believe that I would end up feeling again and then this.

It is quite a wonder.
