I write and weep,

As I stare into

The eyes of darkness.

Stuck with emotions

I can't harness

Like how I am falling,

Heavy but weightless.

And so I try

To save you,

But you can't

Be saved.

I try to fight, I try to

I'm just little bird

Ready for my first flight,

But I fall to the ground

Way up from the sky.
