Clair  -- Is often reading and being sarcastic.

Raoul -- Clair's older brother by four years.  Takes on more responsibility than he need a to.

Mom and Dad -- Parents of Raoul and Clair. Each have a past that they, uh, tone down when telling to their children.

Rosinka --someone Clair has to put up with on pretty much a daily basis.

Eris Alicia -- Clair's would-be older sister. Died from magic when she was young.

Kir Arendia -- King of Arium and close friend of Clair's parents Raoul and Clair's godfather. 

Ida and Adolf Ore -- Parents of William Ore and rulers of Dulcia.
Status--Deceased -- Killed in the first Murae invasion.

William Ore -- Son of Ida and Adolf Ore. Prince of Dulcia. Disappeared under strange circumstances during the Murae invasion, has later been discovered to be a nutcracker.

Mustara Shiraz -- Former emperor of Luschon. Status--Deceased -- Killed in first Murae invasion.

Monsiour Gingerbre -- Former king of Carrielle. Status--Deceased-- Killed in first Murae invasion.

Elora -- A Lumita Fiannu. Friend of Nutcracker

Places/ Groups

Arium -- One of the five countries. It's where Clair and Raoul were born.

Zelgwyn -- Country. This is where Clair's father is from.

Dulcia -- Country where Nutrcacker is from.

Carrielle -- 'Nother country.

Luschon -- Last country.

Lumita Fiannu -- A group of people from different countries. All have a special type of magic. Live between Arium and Zelgwyn.

Basically, the snow fairies.
