Soren's POV

They knew about Ivor being part of the order.

They knew that we lied about that.

Luckily they hadn't discovered our biggest lie.

But as we move across the abyss on Ivor's machine, I feel anger rise in me.

Sure I was fine with Jessie being here before, but now she was putting it all at risk!

How are people going to react when they discover that she came back from the dead?!

Not well that's how.

Besides, did she not know the risks of coming back?

If she stayed?

This couldn't end well if she stayed.

She has already altered the history if this place.

And if she stayed things would only get worse.

I needed to convince her to go back where she belongs.

If not?

Things could be ruined forever.

Olivia's POV

We touch the other side, finding ourselves at the bottom of a large staircase.

"Well, at least there aren't as many stairs as there was in the end." Petra points out, leading the way with Jessie at her side.

Man, those two were blind to each other's feelings.

Yeah not everyone would know just by looking for a long time.

But if you listened and watched, you would realize that the two obviously had a thing for each other.

It was kinda funny to think about.

I follow them up, finding myself hating stairs.

What was with the order and having so many damn stairs?

We reach the door and head inside, following Ivor into the library.

"Look around why don't you? I need to craft a few things." He states, making us all speed out around the room.

I catch Jessie gaging at the title if a book.

"The observations of zombie's and pigs? An intimate encounter?" She asks, backing away from the shelf.

Petra laughs, bumping into her slightly before looking around herself.

I just catch the blush on Jessie's cheeks.

Ha, nice one Petra.

Jessie follows her over and I can hear them talking from my spot at a bookshelf.

"I'm worried about Gabriel Jessie. I mean sure your sickness is gone now that you're back, but what about him? What if he never remembers anything?" She whispers, making me nerved.

How could anyone answer a question like that?

Jessie sighs, obviously not knowing the answer, but she looks up, her eyes filled with determination.

"Listen to me Petra. We will find a way to make sure he gets better. Him and everyone else with the sickness or memory loss. That I can promise you." She states powerfully.

The promise even strikes me.

Whoa.

"You never give up Jessie. That's what I like about you." Petra states before turning away from the raven haired girl, looking very awkward as she trudges away to a bookshelf.

Jessie stares after her in shock.

I had to surpress my laughs.

God these two were like a walking soap opera right now.

But that wasn't what mattered, for now.

I couldn't believe Jessie was willing to promise something so huge.

Something that impossible.

There was no way she could save everyone...

Right?

But as Jessie goes to talk to Ivor, the only Order member she got along with at this point, I can't help but feel something rise inside me.

Hope.

Or is it something else?

I'm not sure.

But there is a belief that Jessie can do this.

And if its the last thing I do, she will keep her promise.

Even if I have to be the one to finish it.

"Olivia! Hey." Jessie calls, walking over to me.

I look up from the books, seeing her emerald eyes sparkling.

The comment Petra made earlier must of done that.

"Yeah? What's up?" I ask, putting away the book I was pretending to look at.

She smiles.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Axle going off with the amulet must have you on edge." She states, making me rub the back of my neck.

Its like she could read the thoughts I wanted to keep hidden.

"Yeah. I just hope he's okay." I mutter.

Her hand rests on my shoulder.

"I'm sure Axle is fine. He's tough. And so are you." Jessie states before walking back to Ivor.

Wow.

That girl was something else.

She was gone for a few days, supposedly dead, and she was already back and ready for anything.

She really did belong here.

Kaboom! Two chapters in one day! Ah... Its good to be back.

Too bad I should be studying.

Oh well.
