Chapter 4- Basic party rules

"I'll take her home Jimin. Don't worry about it, I'll drop her home everyday. You stay safe too okay?" Jennie interrupted the scene. The four best friends had been standing next to the door, observing how strange the Bangtan boys were behaving around Nina. Jimin was always friendly but Jungkook and Taehyung were being shockingly nice. The girls figured that these boys had something in mind. The three girls were humans and couldn't afford to argue with wolves, especially the Bangtan wolves. So Jennie took the brave step and poked her nose in the conversation with a very sarcastic smile on her face. She dragged Nina by the arm before anyone could protest.

To say that Jennie wasn't scared would be a lie. That's why she didn't turn around to see the look on their faces. She knew they were throwing imaginary silver daggers at the back of her head. But she couldn't let her new friend fall into a trap right in front of her eyes.

The five girls brisk walked their way out of school. They got into Jennie's car. Jennie dropped Lisa, Rosie and Jisoo first. She thought asking Nina about Bangtan in private would be a better idea.

"So... do you know them? The Bangtan boys? Are you a wolf? You don't seem like one though.." Jennie mumbled the last part in complete confusion.

Nina's heart was racing. She didn't felt like lying to Jennie, she seemed so nice, she even saved her from the trouble she would've gotten into. But she couldn't tell her just yet. It had only been 2 days, that's not enough time to trust someone with a secret as big as her's.

"I'm human Jennie. I don't know what happened. You said that Taehyung doesn't talk to anyone but he was being so nice to me." Nina replied with just as much confusion, even though she knew why they were crowding her.

"I have no idea man. But whatever it is, stay on their good side. Don't ignore them, but don't be alone with them. I don't want to see your dead body on the news." Jennie sighed.

A chill ran down Nina's spine. Her life had just began and dying wasn't on her to-do list.

"Why would they kill me?" She asked.

"Nina they do what they want. No one has the balls to question them. They're the same as us vampires."

"But I don't get it. They don't need anyone's blood to survive..." Nina questioned her, genuinely not understanding shit.

"Okay firstly, just because vampires need blood, them killing people is still not right. And about wolves, Bangtan is the only pack that is known to be involved in killing people, vampires and even other wolves if the occasion calls for it. Other werewolves in the town love them for reasons unknown to me. The vampires hate them but avoid fights. The humans are just scared but the girls can't help themselves but take their chances with the boys. Honestly, neither can I." Jennie explained with a little giggle at the end.

"Jennie I'm scared. I like you, I like the girls, I like my life right now. I don't want anything to go wrong." Nina honestly spoke her mind.

"Nina I don't want that for you either." She pulled over on the side as they were on their way to the forest.

"I'm nice to everyone, no matter who they are. But I don't like every single person I talk to. I'm not friends with them. I'm only friends with the girls and I feel like I can be really good friends with you too. The Bangtan boys are known for attacking when their target is alone. As long as you're around me or anyone at all, you're safe." Jennie comforted her.

Nina was so confused. Was she really going to trust a vampire to look over her? But this isn't any vampire, this is probably the nicest vampire to ever exist. She could look out for herself though, she's been trained for it her whole life. But she didn't know why she feels so intimated by these boys? How would she defend herself from 7 powerful wolves? She was afraid, and it was showing on her face.

"You're zoning out. Look I get it, you're worried. But trust me they can't get to you if you're not alone. They're probably just trying to get to know you cause you're hot." Jennie said with a shrug but it didn't take the look of worry off of Nina's face.

"Johnny's keeping a party at our mansion tonight. Everyone's gonna be there. I didn't want to be there so I didn't call any of you guys. But I think you could take a little bit of deafening music and booze. What do you say? Should I call Lisa, Jisoo and Rosie?" Jennie asked with a hopeful smile and big puppy eyes.

Nina giggled and told her that she'll have to ask her family. This was when they exchanged numbers and Jennie added her to the kakao group that the girls had, 'We don't have money'. Jennie was puzzled when she got to know that Nina actually stayed in the middle of a forest but she let it go, she had enough on her head already and so did Nina.

To say that the four Bangtan wolves were furious would be an understatement. Hoseok was on edge. He was radiating so much body heat that he could power a small city for an entire week without any trouble. He couldn't help but think how dare a stupid vampire sass them and walk away like that. He wasn't sure if Nina was a wolf anymore. Logically, a vampire wouldn't help a werewolf out like she did. But why on earth was this damned girl wearing the potion? What was it that she had to hide with the help of a witch? If she's a human how did she even know about the potion? His mind was flooded with thoughts.

The maknaes were going crazy too. Jungkook was outside punching his punching bag which was about to fall off the hook any minute now because of the force he was exerting. Jimin and Taehyung went for a run to check their pack borders and to vent a little energy out.

The maknaes were going to this party Johnny was throwing. Johnny was annoying, cocky and a pain in the ass. But apart from all that, he was very intelligent. He knew that being friends with the Bangtan wolves would come in handy some day so he would always invite the maknaes for every party he hosted. The maknaes were younger but they weren't fools. They knew Johnny's game and didn't mind playing it. It was fun pretending like they were falling for his trap when they obviously weren't. Hoseok was against it at first because he knew how angry the boys were. He didn't want them to create a scene over there. He only agreed because Jin told him that he'll be their driver and wait near the house while the younger ones would have their fun.

"They're still young Hobi, we've got to let them live a little." Namjoon explained to a very grumpy Hoseok.

The situation at the witch house was not any better. The witches were freaking out, Hwasa included, except she was just panicking about how Nina didn't have clothes for a party like this.

"You will not step a foot out of this house. Not with those stupid dogs trying to get to you!" Moonbyul screamed on top of her lungs when Nina didn't stop arguing. Both of them had tears in their eyes.

Nina felt guilty because it was only her second day of school and she was already having an argument with her unnies about a stupid party. But she wanted to experience this. She wanted to live the life she grew up watching on the television.

Moonbyul understood that. But she could not even convince herself to allow Nina to go to school anymore. If Nina even got so much as a scratch because of anyone she would never forgive herself.

"I'm not going to stay locked up in this house my entire life!" Nina screamed back.

"You will not raise your voice at her like that. And don't you dare say we locked you up here. You know very well that this wasn't just our decision it was yours too." Solar couldn't stop herself from yelling at Nina when she mentioned that. She was 18, not 8. She can't be childish and talk without thinking.

"Be reasonable here. Nina mind your goddamned tone and Moonbyul mind your head for fuck's sake. The girl needs to go out. If you're so worried about her then go drop her to this vampire girl's house and wait nearby while the party is on and get her back home when she's done having her fun. We cannot restrict her. We shouldn't restrict her." Hwasa interrupted the heated conversation.

Everyone silently took a minute to think and then agreed to make the compromise. Hwasa and Wheein took Nina to her room while Solar and Moonbyul went to their own rooms to take a break.

Nina texted the girls and told them she was coming. They told her to wear something hot. However, that didn't seem to clear her doubts about what to wear so she told her unnies that she had to dress hot and the two ladies gave eachother a smug look and ran into Nina's walk in closet.

It had been a good half an hour since the two younger witches started to throw Nina's clothes out, piece by piece. They finally came out with absolutely nothing. They couldn't believe that Nina didn't have a single piece of sexy clothing in her closet. Hwasa and Wheein both took off from Nina's room and went to their own leaving the poor girl confused. Hwasa returned with a  light blue pair of skinny jeans that were ripped from the thighs and knees, and a red corset top with a heart shaped neckline. The top had two thin golden chains holding it in place. Nina was in love with the top. Wheein made a beeline back to Nina's room with a black Gucci belt, a thick golden chain, and black velvet heels. Nina happily got changed and when she stepped out of her room, Moonbyul and Solar forgot that they were angry with Nina.

"If I was a guy and if I couldn't have you, I would give up on life." Solar blabbered with her eyes wide and Moonbyul aggressively nodded her head in agreement. She looked like a beagle with her mouth open like that. Nina shook her head and blushed like the little girl that she was.

"You ready to go?"  Moonbyul asked Nina and put her hand out in her direction. Nina smiled and put her own hand in her's. Moonbyul explained to Nina that she probably wouldn't get drunk no matter how much she drinks because werewolves heal really fast. But just incase she started to feel tipsy, she had to stop drinking. The rest of the drive was basic party rules- no leaving your drink unattended, no roaming around alone, pick up your phone no matter how many times the unnies call her, the list went on. When they finally reached, Moonbyul told Nina that she's going to park in the next lane and that she's only a call away.

Nina got off the car and waited for Byulie to leave so she could know which lane she's parking in. Once the car was out of sight, she started to make her way to the huge mansion in front of her. She stood there for a second trying to appreciate the beauty of Jennie's home. It was white and massive. She could see girls and boys running with their swimsuits on to the back of the house, where she assumed the pool was. Nina pouted when she realised that she didn't have her swimsuit. The music playing in the mansion was so loud that Nina could feel it vibrate in her chest. Her first ever party, she smiled and mentally told herself that she will make sure to not let anything ruin this party for her.

She was just about to cross the road but she saw another white car coming her way. She waited for it to go ahead but the car stopped right in front of her. Jungkook got out from the passenger seat, Taehyung and Jimin got off from the back. Nina felt her heart drop to her feet and what was even more scary was that she could smell another wolf inside the car, another intoxicatingly delicious scent. She couldn't see who it was but she was tempted to open the door and find out for herself.

Jin though, was staring at her. He couldn't help but stare even after his brothers got off the car. She looked perfect and her scent was so sweet, more overpowering than he could try to explain. Something about her presence made him feel like this wasn't her scent, it was supressed, he could sense it. The three maknaes figured why their hyung wasn't leaving. She did look amazing, there was no denying that. But she was still their enemy and Jin was not aware of that.

"Nina! Didn't expect you to be here!" Taehyung chirped as he walked towards her and looked at his brother in the car to give him the hint. Nina stepped back without thinking. This made Taehyung stop in his tracks and smirk. 'So she is scared' he thought to himself.

"You look beautiful. You should stay with us for the rest of the night. This place really isn't safe. If Johnny decides to latch himself onto your neck, no one would be able to help you." Jimin warned Nina with a very cocky smile on his face.

They were asking to go in with her, they didn't want to kidnap her, they didn't want to kill her. At least not yet. If she agreed, she would be on their good side and would also be where she is supposed to be, the party, in the middle of many other people.

After evaluating the situation for a good few seconds, she decided to do as they asked for now. She giggled cutely and nodded her head.

Jimin held her hand and started walking towards the now obnoxiously loud house. Taehyung and Jungkook followed and Jin made his way to the driveway of the mansion to park his car. Clearly, he didn't care that it wasn't his house. He wanted to join the party as well now that he had a very valid reason to, but he knew the girls wouldn't leave him alone for even a second.

Jin was a full time model and worked for several brands. He occasionally did some acting roles too. With a face and personality like his, if the girls of the town were't crazy about him it would have been weird. Jin had always been that guy- 'the talk of the town' guy that everyone knows they can't have.

He decided to stay in the car. He thought he would finish replying to all the emails while keeping an eye out. It's impossible to even try to listen to what his brothers or anyone else was upto because of the deafening music. But he could smell them, it wouldn't be hard to locate them if he had to, or her. He took his iPhone out and started to go through his emails with Nina's scent lingering in the back of his mind.
