Chapter 16

We walked into the house and straight to the living room where he was snuggling with Alice watching a film, I cleared my throat and both of there heads turned towards us.

“Hiya, could I talk to you 2 for a minute?” Ran nodded but he was suspicious, His eyes were squinted and he was frowning at us.

“Well me and Drake were talking and we wanted to know if you 2 would like to join the pack and move into the pack house?” I said as fast as I could of.  They were both shocked.

“Umm, we’ll discuss it tonight and get back to you tomorrow.” Alice said while Ran just stirred at us. I nodded. “Okay, but I’m staying there tonight so I’ll see you at school tomorrow.” A grin spread across Alice’s face. “Sure” Ran mumbled and they both turned back towards the movie.

Me and Drake walked up the stairs hand in hand to my room to get my things together for the night. I packed a bag as quickly as possible including everything I would need and also some cds my iPod doc and a movie or 2.

When we walked past the living room they were too caught up in the movie to notice us, or should I say Alice was caught up in the movie while Ran was caught up watching Alice. I smiled. They are so cute together.  I turned my attention from them to see that Drake was looking at them as well obviously thinking the same thing I was thinking a minute ago.

Once we were out the door I looked at Drake under my eyelashes. “Drake?”  He gave me his full attention and nodded to tell me to say what I wanted and that he was listening.

“Can I please drive? Please? ”I pouted; he was looking between me and his car. I saw his hand clench around the keys. I batted my eyelashes a little bit.  “erm...you  have to promise me just this once and that you won’t damage my car in anyway and if you do I’ll never ever ever speak to you again.” A smile broke cross my face and I jumped up and pecked him on the lips which caused his grip to loosen on the keys and gave me the perfect opportunity to steal them. I ran straight to the drivers seat and jumped in.

He took his time walking to the car so I put the key in and revved the engine getting ready to go without him, well until he ran around to the passenger side and jumped in.  I was speeding down the road when I heard Drake growl. “Slow down now.” I loosened my foot on the pedal and made the needle drop from 110 to 102. When he noticed that I wasn’t going to slow down again he pushed my leg down hard and made me slam on the breaks.

Then he undid my seatbelt and slid me over his body onto the passenger seat while he moved onto the driver’s seat.  “I can’t believe you did that! You could have wrecked my car and on top of that you could of got hurt going at that speed, YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!” He roared at me. I just looked out of the window. He started the car up and drove us to his house. As soon as the car stopped I jumped out and ran in and straight up the stairs into his room and then through his door and locked myself in the bathroom.

I heard his footsteps not far behind me and I just about got time to lock the door before the banging started. “Kim open the door, c’mon I didn’t mean to shout at you but you scared me.” I just ignored him. What right does he have to shout at me? I can’t believe him. URGHH! He didn’t even ask me nicely to slow down, he just started growling at me like a dog with rabies.  What kind of mate does that?

After about ½ an hour I started to get a bit tired so I opened the door and made my way into his room. Drake was sitting on his bed waiting for me, when he saw me he sprung up and made his way over to me. His arms wrapped around my waist. “kind look I’m sorry I shouted at you, I didn’t mean to i was just scared that you would hurt yourself and I couldn’t control my wolf he was getting very protective so the only way I could tell you was by shouting. I’m sorry.” I looked into his eyes and could tell that he was telling the truth. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.

“I’m tired” I whispered in his ears.

“Lets go to bed then.” He led me towards his wardrobe where he put one of his tops on my head. “You go in the wardrobe and I’ll get changed out here.” He said to me. I diapered into Narnia and pulled the top over my head and walked out to see he was only wearing his boxers. I threw my hands over my eyes. I heard him burst into laughter as I tried to make my way in to bed without falling over.

“Kim this is how I sleep.” He said through his giggles. I found the bed and jumped in. My eyes were still closed but I knew he got in behind me because the bed dipped and I felt his hands go around my waist and he pulled me towards him. I turned over and rested my head on his chest. “I love you” I heard him whisper. “I love you too.” That was the last thing we said before we both drifted to sleep.
