What Was Waiting At Hogwarts

*James POV*

Christmas Break is over, and I feel a little uneasy about Evelyn. She was acting so weird about Hogwarts, it was almost like she was plotting something. She looks all mischievous, like an evil villain. But she looks like that all the time, so I really have nothing to worry about. I say bye to Mom and Dad, then run into platform 9 3/4 with Lily, Albus, and Teddy. I sit down in my usual compartment with Allie, Frank, Hugo and Rose. I tell myself that I am going to make sure that this ride is fine, and no drama occurs like last time. Maybe I can figure out what's up with Allie.

"How was break?" asked Rose, filling an awkward silence.

"Going to Grandpa's was a blast!" Frank piped up. "He's really weird, but that made it all fun! He told us a lot of stories, and showed us some of his artifacts."

"Sounds great," I replied. "Nothing much happened for me," I said.

"Are you sure?" Rose asked. She was always poking her nose in my business. But I knew if I made the wrong answer, the train ride would end up terrible again.

"Oh my gosh, nothing like that happened! I just talked a little, okay," I answered. I am so annoyed with Rose. "She is just a friend, and I know that all of you can relate."

Allie smiled a little more than she usually does. She looked very relieved.

"Yeah, I think we have some apologizing to do, Rose," said Hugo. "They are just friends, and nothing else. We had no reason to be laughing." Rose didn't think so, though. She just rolled her eyes and looked out the window.

"I'm sorry," said Hugo, Frank, and Allie, although only Hugo really needed to apologize.

"Rose?" asked Hugo.

"I'm sorry. Yeah, whatever."

We started talking like normal friends again. Hugo and Rose had a good time at the Burrow, but not extra special or anything. I'm glad that everything's better now. But Frank looked frightened for a second.

"Guys?" he said. "Look out the window." We arrived at Hogwarts, but there was something strange. There was a huge crowd of people there staring up at the castle. Some were pointing, some were gasping, and others were taking photographs with muggle-style cameras. Those photographs couldn't move. They were muggles. At least 100 muggles were there, and they could see Hogwarts. How could this be? What was going on? The only way they could see it was if they knew about Hogwarts. And then an idea struck me: Evelyn must have told them.
