Sophie

[The answer was red. I'm guessing Dex will dye Iggy red in the 10th book that's coming out soon.

IM SO EXCITED FOR THAT BOOOOOOOOOOOK]

"What?" I asked intelligently.

"Kill Percy Jackson." The woman repeated. Nico looked horrified.

"No. No, I can't. I can't." He whispered, clutching his head. Dread filled my stomach, weighing it down like a backpack full of rocks.

"Percy Jackson is dangerous. We only want the best for the Elvin World, and this boy is a threat."

"He's hardly a boy." I snapped. "He's literally 18! He's an adult!"

"A young one, at that." The lady sniffed. "The world is at threat, now that he knows about elves. He knows you, Ms. Foster. More than likely, he is immune to your inflicting, telepathy, and is an excellent swordfighter. Correct?" I nodded, still reluctant, but I could see sense in that. Gah! What's wrong with me? I couldn't just kill Percy. But then again, he was dangerous.

Lately, Percy was being more and more inhuman. Fitz told me his worries about the bloodthirst he saw in Percy's eyes. Even Annabeth was slightly terrified of him.

"I-I'll do it." I said, not knowing I say anything.

"Good, good. You are doing us a great favor." I gulped.

"Wait, what? No! I never said anything!" I protested.

"What is done is done." They took out a blue crystal. A crystal to leap to the Forbidden Cities.

"We will see you soon, Sophie Foster." A beam of light appeared, and they light leaped away.

"We're going back, Sophie." Nico grabbed my hand and we melted into shadows.

[Line break caused by shadow-travel]

"What the—" Keefe yelped as I accidentally bumped into him. "SOPHIE??" There was chaos everywhere.

"Stop!" Nico commanded. There was an eerie silence. "Uh, mind filling us in while we're here?" Percy suddenly came out of nowhere and hugged Nico. [I still ship Solangelo, but Percy treats Nico like a brother, so that's why I made this scene.]

"Ugh, Percy, you're so cheesy." Nico grumbled. Annabeth laughed and joined the hug.

"We thought you guys were goners!" Annabeth said, while Percy said, "I thought you would kill all of the Neverseen and not leave any for me!" Annabeth shot a look at Percy.

"Well, um, we had a run-in with the new Neverseen. They do seem like they've changed, but first they gave me an assignment." Nico visibly paled, even with his usual pale complexion. I transmitted the assignment to the elves.

We needed to kill Percy.

Everyone gasped.

"We can't..." Biana whispered. Percy frowned. "Do what?"

"Kill you." Nico grumbled. Percy looked bored. "What's with all the, 'I need to kill you to take over the world' thing?" Annabeth rolled her eyes.

"Are you that stupid, Seaweed Brain? They want to kill you because you're the most powerful demigod in the world." Annabeth reminded him. "They want you dead, or they want to recruit you onto their team. Having you on their side would destroy the world. Percy frowned.

"Don't they know that my fatal flaw is loyalty? And that I don't want to destroy the world? And also, why would I want to die? Not that I have anything against Hades, of course, but I don't like being dead very much." I blinked. This guy died before?

"That was a near-death experience." Nico growled. "That's not dying. Close, though. Your spirit was near the Underworld."

"Whatever. Same thing." Percy waved it off like almost-dying was a natural occurrence to him. Sure, I had my fair share of almost dying, but it wasn't that often. Maybe once every year. But for him, it seemed like it was every day.

"You guys wouldn't kill me, right?" Percy asked. We all looked at him, annoyed.

"No, duh!" Biana muttered. "What do you think we are, mass-killing murderers?" Percy shrugged.

"Just checking. Anyways, what are we going to do? The Neverseen are like, at our mercy. Should we kill them or...?" Percy exchanged looks with Nico.

"WE BLOW THEM UP!" They shouted in unison. Annabeth rubbed her temples.

"I cannot believe I'm dating this idiot." She mumbled. Keefe jumped up.

"Yeah, I'm totally in with these guys! Can we add gulon gas to the bombs?" A sliver of excitement showed in his ice blue eyes. I rolled my eyes.

"We can't just blow them up. They have valuable information they stole from the Council." I protested. Keefe pouted.

"What about the storage house, Foster? You got to blow it up." I sighed.

"It's not the same. That was last-second planning. Plus, they have storage houses everywhere on the planet."

"Has the Neverseen really changed?" Tam asked. I shook my head.

"They're faking it. I can tell." I growled. "Those good-for-nothing morons, thinking they could trick us."

"They tricked us a lot of times in the past." Keefe pointed out.

"Not helping, Keefe." I muttered.

"Then it's time to play a trick of our own." Percy decided. We all looked at him. He grinned maliciously.

"Those Neverseen are gonna get their butts whipped by the Black Swan." Annabeth cocked her head.

"What do you mean by that, Seaweed Brain?" She asked.

"I have a plan." He replied. Her eyes widened.

"No way, THE Perseus Jackson has a plan?? Since when did you have an actual brain, Seaweed Brain?" Percy pouted.

"Just 'cause you're a daughter of Athena doesn't mean you're the only smart one here. Now, for my genius plan..." Annabeth looked confused, then a look a realization came on her face.

"No, you Kelp Head, don't you DARE!"
