Elwin

[I luv Elwin's character so much in KotLC!! everyone underestimates him so i decided to do a chapter in his PoV]

The stab wound was worse than Keefe's...experience with King Dimitar. The puncture went clean through his flesh, and he wouldn't last for more than a few minutes. Then his girlfriend came and somehow healed him. Then Percy just left. Just disappeared like he was light leaping. Only he didn't. He disappeared into mist.

My brain can't process this. It's too much. He was somehow magically healed from a stab in the stomach due to some kind of liquid substance Annabeth had poured over his wound.

And to the fact that he actually got the wound in the first place? This guy was worse than Sophie at near-death experience. Never had I heard Bullhorn screamed so loudly, not since Sophie's limibium [is that how you spell it?] allergy. Never had I seen Bullhorn curl up besides someone's chest in a matter of 2 minutes. This was too much.

He also disappeared before I was finished checking him all over, since his cells looked dehydrated. I'm guessing it takes a lot of effort to do that fancy mist disappearing thing, so it's not safe for him to tire himself. He might collapse from the effort. Seriously, this guy worries me more than Sophie and Keefe!

When the councillors came, I insisted that he needed to rest, but they came in anyway. Pffft. This reminds me of the monstrosity they called a circlet to block Sophie's abilities. They wanted to interrogate him, and I knew that if they heard one word that he could destroy the world, they would lock him in Exile for eternity. If he could survive that long. I didn't want to bear that thought.

They marched over to Percy's cot, where he was sleeping soundly. I didn't want to wake the poor boy, but Alina went over there anyway and stared at him. He stirred, opening his eyes blearily and saw the councillor. He yelped in shock and fell of the bed.

Uh oh, that couldn't have been good, I thought as he winced and rubbed his stomach. I rushed over and started checking up on him. The councillors asked him some questions I didn't pay attention to. He laughed at the start, but then bot all fidgety and nervous.

The last thing I heard him say: "Oh, well, I don't like where this is going, so I'm gonna go. Bye." He disappeared into a cloud of mist. Councillor Emery shouted at no one in particular to catch him. I yelled at Percy to get back since I wasn't done with his check-up.

"This is getting us nowhere." Alina grumbled. "I think it is time to pay Sophie Foster a little visit." I froze. Sophie didn't do anything wrong. She was just protecting Percy.

"Agreed." Councillor Emery nodded. "We will visit Havenfield shortly after Foxfire's lessons tomorrow."

[and thats a wrap! Thank you all for reading, so close to 250 views! I'm gonna start to ask a question for each chapter and update the answer into the next chapter.

What were Keefe's first words to Sophie in Foxfire?

luv ya'll,

Jenny]
