November  27th . I can never forget it. Only if I'd known it's end this way.

Lucy came into my room, smiling. 

"What are you doing?", she asked, sitting on the bed and swinging her legs. 

"Watching the match", I informed, as I popped a popcorn into my mouth.  She sat down with me, folding her legs and gluing her eyes to the television.  We watched the match in silence, the tension rising in the atmosphere. 

"So what do you think?", she said. 

"About what?"

"Will India be able to make it?"

"Four balls, twelve runs. I don't have the slightest clue.", I said. Cricket matches were always unpredictable.  Lucy bit her nails and watched the match silently. I slapped her hand. 

"Oh no! Last ball.. six runs", she said, squeezing my hand. Pearls of perspiration fell down from our faces. The bowler threw the ball and.. 

"SIX!", we screamed in unison, as the ball few up in the sky. And, landed right into the hands of the fielder. "Said too early", Lucy muttered. I laughed. She picked up the remote and switched off the television. 

"It could have made it !", she said. 

"Yeah. It's okay. ", I said. 

"Anyway", she began. "We're going to the amusement park today. Now, actually".

"Yeah", I said, lost in thought. "Yeah, WHAT?", I said, surprised.

"Yeah, let's go", she said holding my hand. 

"But why?", I asked, frowning. 

"Because I want to go to the amusement park with my boyfriend", she said, stressing on the word "boyfriend" way too much. I laughed. 

"You're such a kid". 

"Yeah-yeah".

"I guess we need to take a right from here", Lucy said, pointing her finger towards the right. I brought the car to a halt, frowning. 

"Okay, Lucy, seriously. Do you know the way? We've been doing this from the past 20 minutes now", I said, folding my arms and watching her. She smiled childishly. 

"Okay, at least I'm trying.I mean, I've been to the amusement park. I'm just a bit confused.  Take a right now, will you?", she said. I sighed and took a right. And to our surprise , we landed right in front of the amusement park . 

"See? I knew the way after all", Lucy said, nodding her head, clearly impressed. 

"I'd call that luck. Sh ere luck".

We paid for our tickets and went inside. Lucy held my hand , her eyes surveying the park and its rides. She looked at me and chuckled. She was clearly enjoying all of this. I smiled.

"This is so exciting", she said. I stared at her in amusement, and laughed. 

"ROLLER COASTER FIRST!", she said, pulling me towards it. 

After a few rides, we sat down on the bench, resting.

"It's the first time I came with you. It's so exciting", she said, her smile never vanquishing from her face.

"I think you're having a nervous breakdown", I said, laughing. 

"Yeah, very funny", she said, turning her face to the other side. 

"And now, you're angry", I said, shifting closer to her. She held her hand to stop me, but I just entwined them in mine. 

"Okay, okay. My mistake, I'm sorry ", I whispered in her ear. She giggled, and looked at me. 

"You pamper me", she said, laughing. "Well, you're my girlfriend", I said. 

"So, you're 'girlfriend' demands a ride on the giant wheel now", she said, getting up. I smiled and followed her.

We looked down at the city from the giant wheel. Each building which would otherwise seem so huge, now looked like mere blocks from this height. Fog filled the air, and the afternoon was quiet cold.

"It's looks beautiful  from here", Lucy pointed out. 

"It does, it sure does", I replied. She looked at me , her brown eyes boring into mine. She shifted closer to me, and held me by my arm. 

"I'm so lucky to have you, Blake", she said, softly. I smiled and pulled her into a hug. Her scent filled my nostrils and I rested my chin on her head, her black , soft hair beneath me. I kissed her hair, not wanting to pull away. Though we did, gradually. 

When we got down the giant wheel , a man came towards us, a picture in his hand. 

"It's the picture we clicked in the giant wheel", he said, rather shyly. Lucy took it and immediately blushed after seeing it. I looked at it. It was taken right at the time when we embraced. I laughed.  

We paid for  the picture and walked towards the exit, hand in hand. 

"Thanks for coming with me today, Blake", Lucy said. 

"Thanks for coming into my life, Lucy", I said. She smiled. I held her hand tightly, in an effort to keep her warmer. I wanted everything to be perfect for her.

We sat in the car, and I handed a cup of coffee to Lucy.

"Thank you", she said.  She shifted closer to me, trying to keep warm in the cold afternoon. I looked down at her fingers and entwined them in mine, looking at the cloudy sky. Just then Lucy's phone rang. 

"Hello?", she said. She listened for a while, and hen hung up. 

"Blake. It was from Heather. She needs something from the bank. Could we please go?", she asked. 

"Off course", I said, and drove towards the bank.

"I'll be back in five minutes", Lucy said. I held her hand and pulled her into a hug.

"I love you Lucy. I really do", I said, pulling her closer to me. I felt her hands on my back.

"I love you too, Blake. More than anything I've ever had".  We stayed there a while. Well, a little longer than a while. Then we pulled back. 

"I'll be right back", she said. I nodded as I watched her enter the door. 

But only if I had known. Because just then, I heard a blast.

They had loved, they had come closer,

But it seems it's going farther.

Blake's ears have heard a blast,

He needs to act real fast! 

I can't tell you what happens next..

But, all I can say is.. something's not very right,

The next few chapters don't look very bright !
