"Good morning,"Blake said to me in his beautiful voice as I got out of my house  for school.

"Good morning,"I responded, smiling. It was a cold January morning. The winds were cold and brushed passed against us. A chill ran down my spine.

I walked with my hands in my coat's pockets. Blake walked beside me, whistling, as if unaffected by the icy breeze.

Mrs.Rowley entered our class in the fourth period. We wished her and sat down.

"I have good news for you," she said.

We sat up.

"Our school's organising a trip, to a beach. It's only for 2 nights. We'll be leaving next week via bus. It's a five hour journey. If you are interested, I'd like you to inform. By tomorrow," she ended.

This elicited a loud noise of "yays" in the class.

"Okay, quiet now,"Mrs. Rowley scolded.  "Let's start with the class"

During recess, Kristine leaped on the chair and said , "We're definitely going"

"I know right,"Eros agreed,joining us.

"Yeah,"Blake nodded.

"Hmm. Maybe  I'd not go,"I began. I could utilize this time for studying.

They looked at me as if they'd stab me right away.

"You're going,"Kristine commanded.

"And that's final,"came Blake's firm reply.

"Yeah, absolutely," Eros nodded.

"Fine,"I muttered, as the thoughts of studying came crashing down before my eyes.

I went home and placed my bag on the couch. I ran to mom who was in the kitchen.

"Mom?," I said.

"Welcome back, sweety,"she replied.

"Our school's organizing a trip. To a beach. Via bus. Can I please go?," I asked.

"Sure. You can,"she said, smiling.

"Thank you so much mom," I said, throwing my arms around her.

"No problem," she said with a laugh, hugging me back.

The week passed quickly. A day before the trip, I sat on my suitcase, zipping it up.

Then, I rolled on my bed.

The beach. Blake.

I smiled at the thought of it. I couldn't wait for tomorrow!
