Chapter 2: Um... This is a Dream- Right?

As I peaked through the bush, I gasped unintentionally. But it was a gasp-worthy sight.
In front of me was a large grassy clearing, with a neat, but natural trim. In the distance, past a green hill, was a large, looming, medieval style castle. No, large wasn't the word for it- it looked seemingly endless. But that wasn't half of it.
Standing before me was roughly a class or two worth of high school age teens, all wearing almost identical robes, the only difference was the color. Some were green lined, others red. It seemed to be a uniform of some sort. They were interacting with- what was that? It was like- never mind, if this was a dream, overthinking it would only wake myself up faster.
I moved my gaze over, and almost snorted with laughter. There was one that would match the description of the toad Umbridge from Harry Potter perfectly. This lady was pretty short, 'plump', wearing all pink and walking around in her heels like she owned the place- sorta like a cross between Levi Ackerman and Draco Malfoy, if they took Levi's shortness and Malfoy's snottieness and added in an obsession with all things pink. She had her back to me, and had walked over to someone with green lined robes- this guy resembled Draco even more than the Umbrige look-alike. It was like the best Draco cosplay that there ever was. It seemed that they were chatting about something, though I couldn't tell what.
Suddenly, I heard a soft clop clop clop, and I jerked by head back into the safety of the leaves, ears ringing, and my heart pounding. Did I get caught? Please no- I thought frantically. After a few seconds of laying absolutely still, the ringing stopped as my heart slowed down, and I noticed that a voice was speaking from where the horse had moved.
"As homework, please write your summaries and observations from today," he said, the same voice from earlier. I heard some grumbles, and the gathering of things. There was a few minutes of scuffling (which felt liked hours) like they were gathering their things, but then there was silence.
"You may come out now child, they have left to their next class." I jumped. Did he mean me? He knew I was here? I knew this was a bad idea, even in a dream...

>>>>>Chiron's POV<<<<<<

I watched as this... child made her way out of the hedge she was hiding in. Immediately, I could tell that she was not a wizard, but she was not a mortal either, or at least not fully. She had the aura similar to a demigod such as Perseus Jackson or Thalia Grace, but more untapped power.
As the young woman brushed herself off, I watched her closely. Her long, brown hair streaked with red and gold was in a tangle of leaves and sticks. She wore a plain green t-shirt that was ripped on the sides slightly with faded Jean shorts, going right to her knees. There was some scratches on her arms and legs, but it seemed that they were not severe.
She looked up at me, standing up straight. She appeared to be roughly 14 or 15, the same age as young Harry. She had [hetero something] eyes, with an emerald green covering the first third of her irises, transiting to a Celestial Bronze on the lower two-thirds. Below her eyes, standing stark against her suntanned skin was an array of freckles, simmering like Imperial Gold. Her mouth was wide open, in expression of surprise and disbelief on her young face.
"Holy Macaroni! I was right! You are a centaur!" The teen exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. It seemed she knew some mythology. Interesting.
"Yes, I am indeed centaur."
"... Hmm, if this was... then I doubt you'd be a party pony... but if that was..." she was muttering to herself, with a thumb under her chin, staring at the castle with distant eyes. Then they cleared as a familiar voice sounded from the direction of the castle.
"Now who do we have here, Proffesor Chiron?"
