"Jaehyun? Why are you crying again?"

The little boy sniffled, wiping the tears away, "W-Will I ever be loved, auntie?"

His aunt was worried why Jaehyun ran out of his room and went to her while she was sleeping in the living area. She sat and placed the little boy down on her lap. She hugged him tightly and combed his hair while he cries.

Another nightmare, maybe?

"Why? What happened?"

Jaehyun sniffled, "That lady again...a-appeared in my dreams."

She hummed, gently rocking themselves so the boy could calm down, "Can you breathe slowly for me, Jae? Let's do some breathing exercises first."

Her nephew suffers from trauma and the boy does get some trouble in breathing whenever he feel great emotions. They did some exercises for a few minutes, calming down Jaehyun. She would hum a song or tell him short stories some times to keep his mind off the scary thought. It was hard adjusting at first but she never thought about giving up.

"Jae, do you know what love means?" she asked.

Jaehyun stayed quiet, just sniffling and wiping his tears off. She knew the kid doesn't exactly know what the word means. It's something he never felt ever since he was born. He thinks the world is against him but in reality, his aunt was with him along the tough journey. The little boy wasn't familiar with the feeling of being loved.

Jaehyun's desperately finding something he doesn't know.

"It takes place when someone or a group of people becomes selfless for you, supports you and stays beside you even in tough circumstances."

The boy hummed, realizing things.

"You are loved, Jaehyun. You'll always be loved, and maybe not today, but sooner, someone will love you more than I do."

"Really, auntie?"

"I promise," she smiled, "And I'll stay beside you forever. Is that okay, Jae?"

Jaehyun just went to hug his aunt, and felt warm arms hugging him back.

Even if it were approximately an hour away, Taeyong decided to go and drive that far but of course, his parents would flip if he did. He just didn't think and called for a taxi. His parents are still in the middle of work at this hour, as well as his sister, so he has no choice but get one. Taeyong was trying not to panic but he was really worried about Jaehyun.

"Hey, bud, are you okay? Talk to me, please," Taeyong uttered, getting them into the taxi.

Jaehyun looked tense, still shocked. He was panicking about his aunt's condition. She currently got into an accident, a car accident, so he didn't really know what to do. Taeyong was the one who decided to go to the hospital they admitted her. He was tightly holding his inhaler, knowing that this situation isn't good for him.

"Jaehyun, eyes on me, please."

A soft hand went to hold his. He flinched, snapping him out of his thoughts. Jaehyun looked beside him and saw Taeyong, trying to comfort him.

"Your auntie's going to be fine. I promise," the boy whispered in a comforting tone.

Jaehyun didn't do anything, he didn't have the energy to. Taeyong was fine with it. He was about to remove his hold on Jaehyun's hand, thought that he wants to have some time to think, but the grip tightened. The boy looked at the man who was occupied looking at the window. Taeyong just moved closer and leaned against the broad shoulder, giving a comforting warmth.

He thought Jaehyun has gotten to the point that he's able to control his emotions a bit. The man didn't really go crazy when he heard the news, he just stopped. Taeyong was still doing this blindly. He doesn't know what to do when Jaehyun just acts differently but he's really trying his best to do something. He doesn't want Jaehyun to feel lonely again.

It took them long enough to arrive at the place. Both of them stepped out of the vehicle after they paid, they walked in hurriedly and asked the receptionist about Ms. Jung's room.

Jaehyun couldn't help but feel very anxious as they were on their way towards the respective room with a nurse assisting them. They hopped on the elevator and pressed the button for the correct floor. Taeyong took a deep breath as he comfortingly rubbed his thumb over Jaehyun's knuckles.

"You're doing great, bud," Taeyong whispered to Jaehyun.

When the elevator doors opened, the nurse walked ahead with them behind. She stopped and stood infront of the door before she knocked and opened it. Both men then saw Ms. Jung laid on the bed, casually eating an apple. The lady got surprised seeing them.

"What? I told the nurse to not call both of you," the aunt whined.

Taeyong and Jaehyun looked really surprised at the aunt looking like nothing happened when she has an arm casted and a few wounds that were took care of. The boy was still in shock but he heard sniffling and saw the man crying at seeing his aunt fine.

"Awe, is my baby Jae crying? Look, I'm fine...Just a few scratches, that's all," she uttered and by a few, she meant some bandage-covered wounds on her face and leg, with a cast around her arm.

Jaehyun ran towards her to give her a hug. The aunt sighed and chuckled as he soothingly rubbed her nephew's back. Taeyong couldn't help but smile at how his lover acted. His aunt really means everything to him.

"You must be really tired, Taeyongie...Sit down for a second," the aunt said softly with a small smile and comforting Jaehyun.

Taeyong hummed, "I'll maybe go and grab something to eat."

"Alright."

The boy quietly walked out and closed the door behind him. He went into the elevator and took his phone out to call his mother. He doesn't know what to do about tomorrow, for school and work. Jaehyun should be fine without him. He'll call from time to time.

Atleast his aunt's fine.

A/N: she's fine, everyone stay calm!!
