He cut the call.....
"Sid wake up na please you can't do this to me I am sorry please please wake up I promise I will never go on date with anybody.... Please wake up na you are angry right then scold me be angry on me but please don't do this....." Sam arrived with Rads within 5 mins they sat on the front seat whereas I and Sid were in the back with him in my lap tears were not stopping from my eyes you gave the best gift to me god by sending him into my life please don't take it away... Please

Why does it always needs to happen to my brother only whenever he is near something so beautiful in his life his life takes a U turn
We reached the hospital within 10 mins and rushed inside with Sid in a stretcher....
"It's an emergency.... My brother had an accident...."
"Sir the doctor will come as soon as possible the patient will be taken to the emergency ward you please fill up the forms....." The reception told me..
"Listen you I am Sameer Nigam I fucking can buy this hospital within a second ask the doctor to come right now...... Otherwise you guys don't even have an idea what is gonna happen....." To this the receptionist called someone and they rushed Sid to the emergency ward..... After sometime a doctor rushed into the ward and after about 10 mins came out.....
"Doctor how is he.... He is fine na...." Avu asked desperately by now even Samaira and aunty had also reached the hospital...
"The physical injuries are not that serious but his head got a hit so right now I can't tell about the internal injuries but we need to stitch his wounds after that the other tests will be done..."
"He is gonna be fine right doctor...." I asked this time...
"We can't say anything right now Mr Nigam the test needs to be done and even the patient needs to wake up too..."
After that Avneet rushed from there and Rads went behind her why is this happening again I need to inform Bee..... She needs to be here...

I ran towards the Mandir inside the hospital and stood there....
"Please please god make him fine I will do anything for it..... Please make him fine again...."
With that I broke down there.... And started crying...
"Avu Avu stop this.... you need to be strong nothing is gonna happen to Sid he is gonna be fine...."
"It's all because of me Rads it's all because of me..... I can't live without him Rads..."
"It's not because of you Avni you didn't know all this will happen.... And doctor said right physical injuries are fine only they need to wait for Sid to wake up"
She picked me up and we went towards the ward I saw Sam talking to someone on phone..... I need to be brave I can't be crying like this... Sam came near us..
"I informed Bee she is coming as soon as possible..."
"Did the doctor say something else...???."
"Yes they are getting his stitches done.... After that the doctor will talk to us..."
After about an hour...... The nurse came and called Sam....
"Sam can I come with you..." I asked Sam
He nodded we went to the doctor's cabin it had his name as Dev Khuranna..."
"Sidharth Nigam's brother??" he  asked  Sam nodded....
"So his wounds are fine now..... And we searched for internal injuries but there are not any.... Your brother is quite lucky usually people suffer a lot in this kind of accident but yes his MRI report hasn't come yet it's with the neuro department but as for now I think he will wake up in about 7 hours...."
"Thank you doctor thank you so much...."
"No Mr Nigam you don't need to it's my job to save others..."
"And yes he is in the observation now so please don't request to meet him "
"Okay doctor" I replied thank you god thank you so much my Sid is fine....
We came out of his cabin and Rads came running towards us....
"How is he?? "
"The doctor says he is fine and gonna wake up in 7 hours..." Sam replied to her...
"Oh thank you Jesus..."aunty Jo said.....
"Rads you take aunty Jo back it's her medicine time she needs to rest also .."
"Avneet you also return I will be.  "
"No Sam I can't do that I will be restless please let me stay here..."
"But bacha even you need to rest too..."
"My mind will not be in peace aunty if I am away from him...."
"Okay.... You guys be here we will come in the morning..."
"Yes that will be fine..." Sam replied
"Guys excuse me I need to call Bee "
He went towards a corner to talk to Vibha aunty.... I hope she is fine... God please wake Sid up as soon as possible....
"The flights in Mussoorrie have been delayed due to weather condition and even the roads are blocked so she will be late.... But will reach by afternoon...."
"Is she fine...??"I asked...
"Ya she is fine now.... Everything is gonna be fine once Sid wakes up......"
"Hmmm"
After that aunty Rads and Samaira returned to their homes Sam and I kept waiting there neither of us had slept that night soon the sun rose and Rads came early in the morning itself...
"Did he wake up??" Rads asked Sam...
"No not till now..." Sam said...
"Hmm... Come you guys have the break fast.  "
"No Rads I am fine take Sam with you..."
"No even I don't feel like eating anything..."
"Listen guys Sid is already admitted here and I don't wish to see you guys admitted here too... So eat your food..."
"Rads..." I tried to say something..
"Shut up Avu come with me both of you"
She dragged us to the cafeteria and made us eat the breakfast.... When we returned back the nurse came from Sid's ward...
We rushed towards her...
"Sir I was just going to call the doctor the patient is awake now..." She said...
I felt like life returned back to me
"Can we meet him..." I asked...
"No ma'am first the doctor needs to visit him...I will just give him a call..."
"Why are they not allowing us.... " Sam asked irritated...
"Baby just relax they need to make sure of his health too there must be a reason" Rads said
Just then Vibha aunty entered with Samaira...
"Sameer how is my son is he alright..???."
"Bee relax relax he is fine infact he just woke up..."
"I need to see him please take me to him..."she pleaded to Sam with tears in her eyes...
"We can't visit him Bee the doctor needs to see him first..." With that she sat there and and was restless...
I went near her...
"Aunty don't worry he is fine.... You have made him too strong that's why nothing happened to him we just need to wait a little more.. " She just nodded with tears in her eyes.....
Just then the doctor arrived...Sam rushed towards him
"Doctor why are they not allowing us to meet him he is fine right..."
"Ya Sameer he is totally fine that's the problem with Indian cinema they show all these hospital scenes where the patient is allowed visitors as soon as he recovers but that is not the case in real life he needs to be examined and checked too besides it was a serious accident so I needed to check him......."the doctor replied with a smile...
"Sorry doctor....." Sam apologized
"It's okay even with all this medical knowledge I would have reacted the same way you did if my brother was admitted in the hospital...." He said tapping Sam's shoulders....
With that he entered into the ward... And after about 45 mins came back but this time he didn't look fine I rushed towards him
"Doctor his fine right....can we meet him" I asked him...
"No I need to talk to you guys...."
"What now doctor you said he is fine just an hour ago.... What is the problem now??
"I will explain everything just come to my cabin..." With that he went from there we all rushed towards his cabin...
"What is the problem doctor...how is my son ??" aunty asked crying...
Now even I didn't had the courage to console her because I was myself frightened with the doctor's reaction just then another lady wearing a white coat entered his cabin she was a doctor I guessed
"This my colleague Sakhshi over here she is the best neurologist we have..... She would be handling Sidharth case..."
"Neurologist?? But why ??? you said the reports are being shown just to make sure right..." I asked...
"Yes you are right it turns out that the report has some bad news for you guys I just saw them.. after talking to Sidharth
"What is the matter doctor??... Please tell me my son is fine..."
"Ya Mrs Nigam he is fine but he has lost his memory of last 6 months...."
"What how is this possible...??" Sam asked....
"Due to shock " doctor Sakshi replied......
"In some cases the reason for the patient's condition is not the harm that was done physically instead it's the shock that affects him for example in many cases when a snake bites a person even if it is non poisonous the person suffers from a cardiac arrest and dies just because his brain goes into shock in Sidharth's case he must have seen the car coming towards him but didn't have the time to react hence his brain went through a shock....due to this shock the part of his brain which had this recent memories have been blocked...."
"W...w...will he n...n..never get his m....memory back...??" I asked...
"It depends in some cases the patient slowly slowly remembers everything but in the maximum cases people don't remember anything and just move on in their life.... And for this shorter range of his life I think the second possibility is going to come true..."
"But can't it be treated I mean medicines and stuff"
"No Mr Nigam there are no medicine for this yes we can go through a surgery but the success rate is only 40% and besides it's done for patients who have lost their entire memory or have forgot major part of their life but for a short period like 6 months I don't think the risk is worth taking.."
"But y...y...you said that sometimes memory comes back slowly it can happen in this case right...." I asked hopefully
"Yes surely it can but for now it would be better that Sid is not told that he has lost his memories he is gonna stress out due to this the hit he got has affected his brain if now he gets stressed about his condition now it wouldn't be good for him... Infact it would be better if he is taken to a place where he remembers everything and everyone so he doesn't feel that he has missed something..."
"But what are we going to say if he asks what was he doing all this six months" Sam asked...
"We have to lie to him that he was in coma due to an accident which he can't remember due to shock"....
""And yes one more thing... How many of you know him within this range of time..."
"Me and Avneet" Rads answered her...
"I think you shouldn't come Infront of him for the time being..."
With those words she broke my heart into thousands of pieces no this can't be happening this is all a bad dream once I wake up Sid is gonna be there to caress my face and be sitting beside me doing his antics this is not true he can never forget me.... It felt like I was going to collapse there my body couldn't handle my weight I stood from the chair and fell with a thud.....
"Avu!!!"
"Avneet"
I heard all of them take my name but all I could say was....
"Sid....."

Avu have been unconscious since the last hour the doctor said her bp got low but I know that is not the only reason how can you be so cruel god she never believed in love neither did she want to.. you made her fall in love then took it away from her.... Why did you do this god..... Just then I heard her mumble something...
"Si...Sid no... Sid" that is what she has been mumbling since she got unconscious... She can't even stop taking his name how is she going to live without him... I was in the middle of my thoughts when she woke up with a jerk...
"Sid...!!! Rads I need to see him he can't do this to me.... He can't forget me.... He just can't....."
"Avu Avu calm down calm down sweetie everything is gonna be fine...."
"Nothing is gonna be fine Rads nothing... I lost him forever he is never going to remember me never...." She said crying
"No Avneet he is going to remember you.... You know na Sid never makes you upset he will not do it now also.... He is going to...."
She stopped me and said...
"Rads leave me alone for a moment....."
"But Avneet...."
"Please Rads..."
I came out of the room where Avu was admitted in the hospital... Aunty was sitting just outside the door...
"Is she fine....??"
"Ya she woke up....she wanted to be alone"
"Okay let her be then she needs to calm down too...."
I couldn't control myself anymore....and broke down over there itself....
"Why aunty why is this happening to Sid and Avu they never did anything wrong to anybody..... Why....???"
She came and caressed my face
"You have to be strong child for Avu she needs our strength you can't even imagine how is it to not have that someone in your life whom you love the most in my case it's easier because with time you come to accept that he is never gonna come but in Avu's case it's more difficult because even after knowing that he is there somewhere you know you can't be together.....
