Kristi's POV

When we exited I broke down crying when I saw the portal exploded. "Laurence..." I sobbed and was hugged by Dante. "Its okay...We will ge him back...one day" Dante said trying to comfort me. "How?" I said I leaned against his chest and saw snow surrounded the plaza. "I-Its...Winter" Dante said and stood up with me. I shivered. "Dante...We have to check on Aphmau!" I said and we ran to Aphmau's house seeing she was sitting with Levin and Malachi. "Aphmau?" I asked opening the door. "Oh my Irene! Your alive!" She said and hugged us both. "Wheres Laurence...?" She asked noticing he wasn't there. "Here, sit down let me explain..." I said. As I explained she had a look of horror. "K-Kristi, We have to get him back!" She said. "Aphamu. The portal exploded...We need anouther one but...We dont know how" I explained and she nodded. "Well then...Kristi and Dante get rest. We can save Laurence soon... I know it" she said and sent us off. As I climbed into my bed at home I heard Dante knock at the door. "Can I sleep with you..?" He asked. I sighed and nodded. "Thanks" he said and cuddled me. His arms around my waist protectivly. "Goodnight Dante..." I whispered. "Goodnight.." He replied and dozed off.

Dante's POV

I woke up and saw Kristi in my arms still asleep. I smiled weakly and got out of bed being careful not to wake her. As I walked out of her room I started making some pancakes. (Sorry I Had To xD) "Good morning" she said sounding sad. "Whats the matter?" I asked and gave her a pancake. "I miss Laurence..." She said and I sighed. "Kristi... We will get him back..I promise..." I said and hugged her. "I know but..." She trailed off as a tear ran down her face. I kissed it away and she shivered. "Dante..." She whispered and I smiled hugging her.
