Dante's POV

My eyes widened.Those words.The tone.What was that? My heart literally stopped. "Laurence!" I yelled. "What!" he shouted back. "We need to go to WyvernScale, Kristi is in danger" I shouted and Laurence walked into the room. "I understand, lets go" Laurence said and we contacted Aphmau. "We are going to visit Kristi, she might...be in danger" Laurence said and she replied. "Okay...be safe" she said. I sighed and grabbed my twinblades. "Ready?" I asked. Laurence nodded.

Kristi's POV

I was shocked. I sat on my bed. Those words...they...they scared me. But then there was a knock on the door. "Yeah?" I said opening the door. "Princess, there is someone at the gates requesting you" he said. I nodded and became my guard form and walked to the gates. "Z-Zane?" I asked, my eyes were wide. "Kristi! Your alive!" Zane said. "Yeah...I am...why?" I asked. "There was rumor...that a shadow knight might be trying to kill you" Zane said and I stood there shocked. "Let him in" I said to a guard and I had him follow me to the castle.

Laurence's POV

"Dante...we are almost there" I called to him. Our horses were moving in sync. "Yeah I know" Dante replied. The bitter cold wind blew through us. It made us shiver, "We should stop for the night" I called and Dante nodded. As we were setting up camp, we were quiet. Very quiet. Atleast until...Dante was on his sleeping bag out cold because he was talking, in his sleep about somethings that I dont understand. Listening to him mutter...made me...fall under the enchantment of sleep.
