"Ugh..." I groaned as Being woke up abruptly. My eyes opened and I saw that I was in Lucinda's house. I got up and saw them crowding around someone. I went over to them "What happened?" I said and realized Kristi. She was paler then usual. "W-what happened?" I asked. "She isnt dead...but she isnt awake either...shes in a coma" Lucind said and gathered a potion. "Im going to use my witchcraft and TRY to revive her" Lucinda stated as she started using her witchcraft to her abilities. Lucinda focused and a ray of light flooded onto Kristi, making her skin return its regulaur pale color but she didnt wake up. "She wont wake up until tomorrow..." Lucinda said as she collapsed, exhausted. "Now, lets deal with Jayleb" Dante said walking to a hooded man. "Now, tell me. What do you want with Kristi" Dante said calmly. "A-Aidrean said W-we had to sell her t-to Okhasis" Jayleb replied quietly. "What? As a slave?!" I said eyes raged. "N-no...To keep Aidreans alliance, he kidnaps the 'princess' and sends them to Okhasis." Jayleb said. "She was kidnapped by Zane before, but we got her back" I retorted and glared at Jayleb. "You mean the high priest?" Jayleb said wide eyed. "He said he would kill everyone and rip apart our village to find his 'one' and He askefd Aidrean and I to take Kristi from her village and for her to marry him." My eyes widened. "T-thats why-" I started before Kristi woke up. "Ugh...Where am I?" She groaned. "Your In Lucinda's place" Dante replied "Oh...Wait...I remember...Aidrean...he...blew the Phoenix whistle...I have a Phoenix DNA remember? It...it makes a Phoenix fall asleep" Kristi said.

Kristi's POV

"Thats why you fell asleep..."Dante said. "It physically disables them too, so you can tame them." I concluded. "Oh! Your awake! Yay!" Lucinda said and gave me some Chicken soup. "Thanks..."I said and ate it, while I did so my gaze traveled to Jayleb. "J-jay?" I said my eyes wide. "The one and only" he replied, "Why are you here" I hissed. "Why, we had to find You Princess Kristi." He replied with a smirk. "Why" I said internally chuckling of how many times I can say Why. "You know, Ohkasis needs a Princess or a very beautiful maiden to give to The High Priest." Jayleb replied smugly "To keep us alive" he added. My eyes widened "Im sorry, Jay Im not something you can 'Give away' Im not a slave nor toy" I retorted my eyes flashed orange showing my amusement. "Well, thats going to change because WyvernScale is going to attack" Jayleb said. "Lemme see about that Jay, Let me see"
