Break Up

Taekwoon's POV
"Jung Taekwoon, we'll have to take you in for questioning and evidence. You are a suspect of the murder of the young child, Lee Soo Ah." A police officer said to me, as I answered the door.

"What the hell?! I did no such thing?" I told them.

"You have the right to remain silent!" The officer said to me.

"Taekwoon? What's going on? And why are there officers at the door?" Hakyeon asked me, waking up from his nap.

"I'm not so sure myself Hakyeon..."

"Hi there sir. Taekwoon has been accused of murder, and we are here to take him in for questioning and further evidence." He said to Hakyeon, then cuffed my hands behind my back.

"What? He wouldn't murder anyone!!" Hakyeon yelled at the officer.

"It's alright Hakyeon. I'll be okay. Promise me you'll visit though?" I asked him.

"I'll try..." He gave me a peck on my lips and the officer yanked me away.

He was practically dragging me to the police car, yet all I could hear was Hakyeon crying. Hakyeon, I'll be home soon.

Wonshik's POV
Another day in this lonely and dull place, known as prison. I don't mind being lonely though... Here I am, laying in my prison bed, staring at the old looking ceiling.

"Hey Wonshik! You have a cell mate! Get cozy!" The officer yelled at me.

He brought a black haired guy, wearing orange clothing just like mine, to the front of my cell.

"What the hell? I don't want a cell mate!!!" I yelled at him.

"I don't give a shit what you want! He's sharing the cell with you, whether you like it or not!! I don't care what you think!" The officer unlocked the cell, threw the guy in, and he fell on his knees.

"Fuck you!" I cussed at him. He stuck his tongue out at me and locked the cell again, then left us. The guy got up and brushed the dirt off himself. I looked at him with a nasty look, trying to make sure he stays away from me.

"Um, hi? I'm Taekwoon." He held his hand out for me to shake, but of course I wouldn't do that!

"Go away..." I turned my back to him and starting humming some random song in my head.

"Uh... Well, your name's Wonshik right? That's a nice name..."

"Ugh... Yeah it is my name. My parents named me with that at birth and I'm stuck with it. Anything else you want to know, hotshot?" I asked annoyed.

"Umm... Which of the bunk beds do I sleep on?" He asked me.

"Bottom. I like to be at the top."

"Okay then!" He sat down on the bed below mine and kept quiet for a few minutes, then started speaking again. "Wonshik?"

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?" I yelled.

"HEY! SHUT UP! IM NAPPING HERE!!!" Some prisoner yelled.

"HEY, I'LL BE LOUD AND TALKATIVE IF I WANT TO!" I yell back.

"Wow... You have a loud voice." He said.

"Okay? And your point is?"

"N-Nothing! So what do you do all day?"

"I lay down, and think. Sometimes I get visitors, but most of the time I don't. What are you in for anyways? You seem too soft to be a prisoner."

"Well, I'm accused of murder. How about you?"

"I- Why should I tell you?"

"Because I told you why I got in..."

"I don't care! You chose to do that! Not me!!! Now just shut up and don't bother me!"

He became quiet and just laid down on his bed. How could he be accused of murder? He's too soft and kind, and because of that, it doesn't seem like he'd kill someone. That's weird...

"Wonshik! You have a visitor!" The officer yelled.

I hopped off my bed and waited at the cell door. He came up to the door and I held my wrists out, as I usually do when I have a visitor. Then he unlocked the door and I walked out beside him. He locked the door again, and brought me to the visiting room.

It was some kind of grey room with two chairs and a table. Sitting on one of the chairs, was my girlfriend. I went over and sat in the other chair, then the officer took my cuffs off. The officer told us no physical contact and then left us alone.

"Hey honey... It's been a while since you've visited me."

"I'm sorry Wonshik, but I can't take it anymore." Her voice cracked and she was about to cry.

"What's wrong? Come on, you can tell me."

"I want us to break up."

After she said that, it was complete silence. I didn't speak and neither did she. Then out of nowhere, I asked her...

"Why?"

She meant so much to me. We've been together for just over two years now, even though I've been here and there.

"Because, I don't love you anymore Wonshik."

She started crying, but I knew this wasn't the reason why she wanted to break up.

"Stop it. I know you still love me, and I still love you. What's the real reason you want to leave me?"

"I'm sorry Wonshik!!! I just can't take it anymore!! All my friends and my family are killing me!!! They keep torturing me and laughing at me, for still dating you, even though you're in prison!!"

Ah ha! Now this is the real reason why she wants to leave me. Her parents and the rest of her family are really strict about who she's dating. I knew they never really liked me, and now they probably hate me. I understand why she wants to leave me now.

"Oh.... Alright. I understand everything now. I don't want you to be stressed out or anything, so it's okay. If you're happy, then I'll be happy."

"Really Wonshik?" She sprung up from her chair and wiped her tears away. "You'd do that for me?"

"Of course, I love you."

"Thanks Wonshik for understanding." She gave me a big smile and one last quick kiss.

"The officer won't know." I whispered. She nodded her head and sat down again. "Can you promise one thing though?"

"What is it Wonshik?" She asked me.

"When get out of here, let's meet up?"

"Of course Wonshik."

"Good..."

*buzz*

Her phone vibrated and she checked to see whom the text was from.

"It's from my mom... She doesn't know I'm here."

"It's okay. Just go to her and meet her. Tell her that we aren't together anymore, so she'll get off your back and stop bothering you about it."

"Alright Wonshik... I'll come and visit again okay?"

"I'd like that." She got up and waved to me, as she exited the visiting room. The officer came in and cuffed my wrists, then brought me back to my cell. He took the cuffs off of me, and threw me in, as usual. Then the officer left, probably to go and eat his food.

Taekwoon was still laying on his bed, and he looked zoned out. Then when I got in, he broke his focus on nothing and started talking to me.

"So who was that? Who visited you?"

"Shut up." I told him. I hopped up, back onto the top bunk, and started thinking about her.

"No really, who was it?" His stood up and started staring at me.

"None of your concern." I turned my back to him and kept quiet.

"Ugh... Wow." He said. Then he stopped looking at me and was walking in circles around the cell.

What the hell was he doing? And what did he mean by 'wow'?

"What? What's that supposed to mean??" I asked him, then jumped off my bed.
