A Talk
Sanghyuk's POV
I honestly don't know how much longer I can go on like this. Avoiding Hakyeon? Refusing to talk to him? It's hard, so hard.
All I want is to see his beautiful face, hear his sweet voice, just be in his presence!-but alas, I can't. I didn't think I'd be affected so much by the relationship he has with Taekwoon, yet I'm so affected-badly affected.

Hongbin: Meet me. 1 hour at the park near Hakyeon's place. Don't worry, I promise you two won't cross paths.

I stared at my phone for a moment, absentmindedly blinking at the message. Meet Hongbin near Hakyeon's house? I haven't seen him in just over a week-the same amount of time I haven't seen Hakyeon-and now suddenly he wants to meet up?
I shrugged my shoulders, grabbing my things, and headed to the park. If I walk, it'll take just under an hour.
an hour later (lol)
I scanned the park to see if I could find Hongbin. He was a small distance away from me just sitting on a bench. I walked over to him and casually sat down next to him.
"What's up?" I asked him, watching him put his phone away in his pocket.
"Well, hello to you too," Hongbin chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah, hi. What's so urgent that you needed to talk to me?"
Hongbin sighed. "Well, first off, remember how I was 'coming onto you' the last time we texted?"
"You mean your 'desperate-cry-for-Sanghyuk?' If so, then yes, I remember."
He laughed. "Haha, very funny. I didn't mean any of that at all, so you don't need to worry. Honestly, I just wanted to find out your feelings for Hakyeon. See if I could get a confirmation, you know?"
I widened my eyes. "You could tell?"
"Dude, you're so obvious. Hakyeon's a smart guy, but I'm surprised that he hasn't figured it out yet."
Keeping quiet, I looked down at my thumbs and slightly bit my lip. "Is that all you wanted to tell me?"
Hongbin shook his head. "Man," he said, "Hakyeon really needs you. He misses you like crazy-"
"-I can't be around him! At least, not right now..."
"But don't you see it, Sanghyuk? He feels something too, he just doesn't realize it."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Hongbin stood up, brushing his back off and looked at me. "You need to talk to him, seriously." And with that, he left.
I... should talk to Hakyeon, Hongbin is right about that; but I don't want to, not any time soon. What would I even say? I can't just straight up confess or anything! But... I really do need to clear things up with him.
Tonight. Tonight I'll talk to him. I have a few hours to figure things out, so until then.. gotta get planning.
