Glory hated how awkward this was.

When she first arrived to the rainforest, at least she had a little time to know Jambu and then find out he was her half-brother.

Deathbringer's sister just popped out of nowhere.

And tried to kill Glory nonetheless.

"First his mother, and now a sister. Don't you think it would have been just a tad bit better if you would have broken this down in smaller pieces? And where's your father?" Glory couldn't help but let her thoughts voice themselves.

Infinity laughed. "You're a curious one."

Glory rolled her eyes. "Yeah, the most curious dragon of them all."

"And sarcastic.... nice," the hybrid said with a mischievous glimmer reflecting in her eyes.

Glory offered her a knowing smile. But the fact that Infinity had intentionally avoided the question about her father didn't escape Glory's ears.

"I... I need a minute to think," Deathbringer said and stood up.

The queen watched him with a questioning look.

Do you want me to go with you? She tried to say with her eyes.

He shook his head and walked out of the hut.

Glory took in a deep breath and let it out with a whoosh.

"My schedule has gone exactly how I expected it to go," she said more to herself than anything.

"I know right? We so knew that the dragon we were looking for was in a relationship with his own queen," Infinity casually responded with a smirk.

Glory narrowed her eyes at Infinity. "Yeah, Deathbringer having a sister who tried to kill me was the part I looked forward to the most."

She smiled cheekily and scratched the back of her neck. "Yeah, sorry 'bout that."

Glory raised an eye-ridge before they both burst out laughing.

Quickstrike gave both of them a confused look. "This... I was certainly not expecting."

Her words just made the two young dragons laugh louder. It took some time before they regained their composure.

"Me either mother, but I don't think it went as bad as you told me it was going to be," Infinity commented with a faint grin.

Quickstrike sadly smiled back. "We can't be too sure about that. Deathbringer... there's something different about him."

Glory cocked her head to the side and let her tail sit on her talons.

"What do you mean?" She asked Quickstrike.

Her boyfriend's mother hung her head and their was a distant look in her eyes.

Yeepy! I finally said the word. Great for me.

"Deathbringer used to be so eager to please anyone that had some kind of higher position than him. When he was a dragonet, he did anything they asked him to without questioning a thing. I don't think he's the same now, nine years can really change a dragon. There's just something in the way he looked at me..."

Glory lowered her gaze.

She still wasn't used to the fact that Deathbringer had been an assassin at such a young age.

He was so caring and loving with her, that the thought of him killing other dragons sent her head into a whirling tornado.

Of course, she still hadn't forgotten that she had been meant to die by his claws either. But they had gotten to know each other better, and he had even confessed that after he met her, he hasn't killed anybody else.

Quickstrike seemed to think hard about something before she stood up.

"I'm going to talk to him," she said and walked out of the hut in pursue of her only son.

That left Glory and Infinity alone in the room.

"Sooo..."

"Sooo what?"

"Do you want to talk about something? I'm honestly having so much fun right now," Infinity stated as she looked her claws over.

Glory rolled her eyes. "Well, if you're Deathbringer's sister I might as well get to know you better."

"Cool, let's start off easy then. How old are you and how did you become queen? Did you challenge your mother?"

Glory laughed and shook her head. "No, I didn't challenge my mother. Moons, I don't even know who she is. I just challenged the multiple queens and won with the help of my friends. And since you asked, I'm seven years old."

Infinity raised both of her eye-ridges. "There was more than one queen? Did they take turns or what?"

"Precisely," Glory confirmed.

The hybrid whistled and her tail banged the floor.

"I had heard that RainWings had a giant secret with their queens, but I didn't think it was that..."

"Lazy?" finished Glory with a suggestive glance.

"I was just about to say unordinary, but now that you mention it, then yeah," Infinity insisted.

They shared a chuckle before they both went quiet.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Infinity pondered aloud as the faint sound of voices reached their ears.

Glory shrugged and her scales changed to a faint green with amber. "They could be talking about the types of fruit for all we know."

The Night and Sea dragon suddenly pretended to be all hyped up. "Oh my moons! I bet they're  discussing how they missed each other and what will happen after this!"

"I hadn't thought of that! You're SO smart, like, I thought they were chit chatting on how beautiful the weather is today," the queen played along.

Infinity snorted and fell to the floor in laughter.

"You, I like you. Mother always told me my sarcasm was annoying, but I always said-"  

"It's the truest thing there is."

Glory's scales turned an amusing yellow at Infinity's 'in awe' face.

"Are you sure we're not long lost sisters? Wait, not necessary, one day we'll be sisters-in-law."

If the RainWing queen would've been drinking water, she would have spit it out. Instead, she began choking on air.
