It wasn't hard to find Tsunami and Riptide, like they had said, they stayed close to the main village.
And wherever there was loud yelling, there was Tsunami.
Deathbringer had heard her first, and when they followed the sound, they found Tsunami arguing with a pair of NightWings.
Glory felt that if she rolled her eyes any more, they would fall out of their respective places.
"We really can't leave her alone for more than twenty minutes, can we?" Deathbringer stated as they stood on a vine bridge that allowed them to overlook the scene below.
The queen moved her wings in a shrug but noted that it was true.
"Thats Tsunami for you," Glory said with a small sigh.
"Maybe we should go and break them up, don't you think? That's if we want peace around here any time soon," Deathbringer suggested with a frown on his face.
Glory thought about it for a second before coming to the conclusion that he was right. If there was any chance that she would have the opportunity to rule over a kingdom successfully, she needed peace. With that thought, she knew she had to do something about the tension between the dragons living in the rainforest. Even if some were only there by force.
"Let's do this quickly."
The RainWing and NightWing swooped down onto the platform where Tsunami was bickering with the other NightWings. Glory could see that Riptide was trying to calm her down, but nothing he said or did worked.
The queen looked up at the trees when she heard the traces of soft whispers around her. She noticed that the trees were moving, not to her surprise. Although she was caught off guard when the shadows of those trees seemed to be shifting, despite being midday.
So the NightWings also enjoy their share of drama... interesting.
"You three, that's enough!" Deathbringer called out with an authoritative voice.
There was a silence of only a few seconds before one of the NightWings burst into laughter.
Glory raised an eye-ridge in question. She knew she was being watched by several dragons, and she also knew that the majority of those dragons didn't like her too much. If she showed any lack of control, well... things could go bad for her and her reputation as queen.
"Yeah, and who are you to tell us what to do, huh? Last time I checked, you were just a filthy traitor," the NightWing that had initially laughed spat out with rage.
Glory frowned at his words and her scales changed from the neutral lilac that they were to an irritated orange. She saw her scales change color and reacted by switching them back to a light purple. She remembered that there were also RainWings among the spectators and they could definitely tell what she was feeling. Like every time it happened, she hated it.
"I'm actually your worst nightmare... Knifeslice," Deathbringer shot back as he menacingly stepped forward.
They know each other? How does an assassin that worked in the mainland know dragons from the island?
"Uh, hello? I'm not done with you yet, NightWing!"
For what seemed the millionth time that day, Glory rolled her eyes at something that had to do with Tsunami.
"You were never worth my time, SeaWing," Knifeslice snarled back.
Tsunami growled and set her body in a fighting position, no doubt ready to go and defend her point in whatever argument they had with her claws and teeth. Glory knew this was where she needed to step in.
The queen approached her sister and made sure to speak soft enough for the words to be only audible for the both of them.
"Go back to my pavilion and wait there, if I meet with Coral then she can't know about you causing trouble or Riptide being here with you."
Glory could see the anger and frustration in Tsuanmi's dark blue eyes, and she understood how much pride meant for the SeaWing princess. However, she also knew how much more Riptide meant to Tsunami, and she had seen the resent that Coral had towards Webs' son. Tsunami may appear to be tough and annoying, but any dragon that really knew her would know that she deeply cares for those who she loves.
"Fine," Tsunami said and hesitantly backed away from the others. She flew off into the trees with Riptide right by her side.
Glory sighed softly, proud of herself for handing a part of the situation.
Now the other two parts...
She turned around and when she saw Deathbringer and Knifeslice arguing even louder and worse than before, Glory wanted nothing more than to yell at the skies and then say a few things to the two NightWings in front of her that wouldn't be too dragonet-friendly.

Hey! How's it going everybody? Good, I hope.
Although I think we can all agree that 2020 is just a year that needs to be reset in general.
Anyway, thank you for reading and your support, it's honestly all I could ask for.
And this chapter's OC is Knifeslice, owned by:
Like I said, I'll be adding your OC's as much as I can.
Not much going on besides that.
Oh!
I actually started to play acoustic guitar. I'm barely a week in, so I'm a terrible beginner as of now. But if anybody else on here miraculously also plays guitar and has tips or anything of the sort, feel free to comment.
Okie Dokie
Some mistakes get made, that's alright that's ok. In the end it's better for me, that's the moral of the story
