Glory and Deathbringer wasted no time in helping out Infinity.

It was a SeaWing, Glory realized as they got closer.

The queen thought the scales looked familiar, but as the SeaWing threw Deathbringer's sister against the water with enough strength to leave her motionless for a few seconds, Glory and Deathbringer furiously crashed into their new enemy.

Glory tried to fight alongside Deathbringer, but he pretty much took over as his anger at having his sister injured overpowered his common sense.

The queen decided to check up on Infinity and make sure was alright while her bodyguard fought the SeaWing.

The hybrid was lying on the beach, panting and wheezing as the ocean's waves washed on her.

Glory leaned her neck down and said, "Don't move and just try to keep breathing, your lungs might have taken the worst hit when she slammed you against the water."

Infinity, despite her pain, managed to give a look that Glory interpreted as, 'nooo, really?!'

Then, something dawned in Glory's mind. Something that her subconscious had realized a lot sooner than she did, but her worry about Infinity had erased it from the front of her head.

I said she.

I do know that SeaWing.

Of course it's her, who else would start fighting the first strange dragon she came across!

Glory growled and turned around, her head facing the fight between her bodyguard and said SeaWing.

"TSUNAMI!"

Deathbringer and Tsunami stopped fighting and separated to face the queen.

"WHAT!"

The SeaWing Princess was panting heavily as she tried to regain her breath while Deathbringer simply looked annoyed at the fact that their fight had been stopped so soon.

"GET. DOWN. HERE," Glory yelled in a furious voice.

When Tsunami was finally standing in front of Glory, the queen practically exploded.

"What were you thinking?!" Glory hissed.

"In my defen-"

"No," the RainWing interrupted, "don't put the blame of your mistake on an innocent dragon. How many times have I told you, don't act on impulse or stuff like this happens!"

Glory and Tsunami stood nose to nose as they glared intensely at each other, not one of them moving the slightest.

It was said, in fact, that if you looked close enough, you could see dangerous sparks of anger flying between their eyes.

Glory could have kept glaring at her sister for the rest of eternity, but Deathbringer interrupted, causing both of them to reluctantly turn away from each other.

"Umm, cough cough, injured sister over here, cough," the NightWing bodyguard said.

"Wait, sister? You have a sister?" Tsunami asked, surprise taking over her anger for a minute.

Glory rolled her eyes. "Yes, he has a sister. And while you're at it, why don't you go and throw his mother against the trees too?"

The princess's wings flared up in a surrendering way. "Geez, calm down. I don't live here okay? Sorry that I'm not up to date with stuff."

Glory opened her mouth to say another snarky comment but then quickly shut it.

Eh, she's right. But am I telling her that? Hahaha, burning skies no.

"We should go get a healer," Deathbringer said with a worried frown as he looked at his wheezing sister.

Tsunami shook her head and stood in between Glory and Deathbringer.

"We just need to lie her down on her back and extend her wings on the ground so that she can open up her airways wider," the SeaWing replied with a thoughtful look.

Glory and her bodyguard turned their heads to look at her and blinked in disbelief.

"Since when do you know any kind of useful knowledge in your head that doesn't have to do with fighting and being loud?" The queen asked with a raised eye-ridge.

Tsunami rolled her eyes and began to help Infinity lie on her back.

"Someone probably did the same move to her and that's where she learned it from," Deathbringer said with chuckle.

A loud growl resonated from Tsunami's throat, "Just. Shut. Up."

Eventually the three of them managed to place Infinity in the right position, just like Tsunami had said to do.

They sat down while they waited for the hybrid to regain her breath, Glory in between Deathbringer and Tsunami, obviously.

The three were in a bubble of awkward silence for a minute until Deathbringer decided to pop it.

"Tsunami, would you care to explain what you're doing here? And why you decided to attack my sister in the first place?"

Glory didn't show it, but she felt chills along her spine at the tone that her bodyguard used to address Tsunami. He sounded calm and he used the words that anyone would in a normal conversation, but Deathbringer's voice was cold and menacing, and most definitely a tone that she never wanted to hear directed at her.

"Listen, it's really not what it looks like-" Tsunami started, but was cut off by Deathbringer.

"So you didn't come out of nowhere and attack my little sister, almost killing her, yeah. Definitely not what it looks like at all."

Tsunami stood up and growled in Deathbringer's face. The NightWing didn't flinch, he only glared as coldly has he could at the SeaWing.

"Glory, tell your bodyguard to stop making assumptions," Tsunami said, not taking her eyes off Deathbringer.

Glory rolled her eyes and yawned carelessly. "He's my bodyguard, not my pet. And, this goes for the both of you, don't expect me to take sides until I hear both Tsunami's and Infinity's side of the story."

The queen then waited for the princess and ex-assassin to control themselves and not kill each other. Tsunami took a new spot on the beach so that the three dragons now formed a little triangle.

Glory nodded in approval and said, "That's better. Now tells us your story, oh innocent one."

The SeaWing princess rolled her eyes and exhaled harshly through her nose.

"I was just..."

Glory thought she caught movement out of the corner of her eye, so she turned her head and quickly scanned the area.

Infinity was finally back on her feet and currently sneaking up behind Tsunami in a very predatory way.

No, that's not what I saw, I knew she was up since two minutes ago. There was something else... there.

Coming out of the water was another SeaWing, only this one was a hundred times more peaceful than the first one, an assumption that wasn't hard to make even if Glory didn't know him as well as Tsunami.

"Riptide?"

~*~

SeaWings are everywhere aren't they.

And hello Tsunami, it's been a while since I wrote about you.

Thoughts, comments, suggestions? I'll take anything.

And yes I know, your OCs are still not in here, but this chapter was already pre written before I published the other one. Please just give me one or two more weeks. Promise you'll see them then.

Also, on Jan. 1 it will officially be a year since I published Chapter 1 of this story. And yes, you will get an update to commemorate the anniversary.

Wow, time flies huh. It seems only a few days ago that I first published TCoN. The fanfic that started everything.

Well, I think it's it for now.
