"Look, it's not easy to stand on the beach, wearing heels and a heavy saree. Tell me why you brought me here" Devi asked Madhav as it's already been half an hour since he brought her here.

"Devi, I don't know in what way you'll take what I am going to say. But I need to tell you this now, whether your response is positive or negative. I've to confess for the peace of my mind" Madhav explained nervously. It was his first time proposing for a serious relationship.

"Then tell me Madhav" Devi requested in anticipation. She was already able to guess what was coming her way through Madhav's expressions.

"Do you remember the first day I met you Devi? You were with Arpana that day, our first encounter was not pleasant, neither the encounters that followed. But without me realising I was enjoying it. Till a few months back, you were only that annoying girl to me but recently the place for you has changed in my heart. I think I'm starting to fall in love with you..." Madhav finally said.

Devi too liked Madhav. She had a feeling that he liked her back as well... but ... but she didn't think he'd confess this already. Devi stood there in shock, not knowing how to react.

"Devi, would you please say something?" Madhav requested her.

"Madhav, I like you as well but I do not think that I am a right match for you.
You know nothing about me Madhav! My father's in jail. Arpana isn't my real sister." But before Devi could complete her sentence Madhav stopped her. "Devi, this does not make you less desirable. I love you for who you are, not due to any other factors or what your family is like and I'm expecting that in return if your response is positive..."

Devi's eyes started to water. Devi liked Madhav but she didn't think Madhav deserved to come into her life and experience a share of her problems.

"Devi please" Madhav pleaded...

"Madhav, if we are going to date it's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard! We will have to work on this relationship very hard, If we want it to work out, you will have to deal with my tantrums, mood swings and promise to never break my heart" Devi explained.

"Devi, already you've shown me a lot of your tantrums and mood swings. So I am aware of what to expect and I am promising you that, if I need to, I will go an extra mile to make you happy and for this relationship to work out" Madhav said staring intently into her hazel brown eyes.
Devi smiled as a response to Madhav's promise.

"I have one more condition," Devi said, displaying a serious expression.

"And what is that?" Madhav asked her

"You may think I'm being cheesy or childish but I want someone in my life, who will love and care for me as much as Mr Bean cared for his Teddy...." Devi said very confidently. Madhav let out a laugh after hearing what Devi said... "I will definitely try to care for you the way Mr Bean cared for his teddy..." he said. Devi widely grinned hearing Madhav's reply.

Madhav then gently held Devi's delicate hands and they then walked along the shore welcoming the next chapter in their lives wholeheartedly....

Arjun went to the gym as soon as the sun rose today. Arpana was feeding Diya when she heard the doorbell ringing. Ever since that incident Arpana was nervous to open the door if Arjun's not around, especially because Diya's around as well now. Diya's safety was Arpana's priority.

When Arpana looked out of the window, she saw Nikhil. Arpana was much relieved to see Nikhil. Immediately, Arpana opened the door and welcomed Nikhil.

"Did Sakshi not come, Nikhil?" Arpana asked him as she closed the main door.

"Umm no, she wasn't Arpana," Nikhil replied. He didn't look very pleasant today. Arpana sensed something wasn't right from Nikhil's expressions. "Nikhil is everything okay?" Arpana asked him with concern.

"I'm not gonna lie to Arpana. Sakshi and I had a fight regarding Vihan. Ever since the return of him, Sakshi has become very secretive and she has started hiding things from me. She met with Vihan without my knowledge and they discussed something along the lines of harming you once again. I know this is wrong but I read a message on Sakshi's phone where the main topic was this. So please be cautious. Life is so unpredictable. I've only found out about you recently, I don't want anything bad happening to you leaving us shattered. I want my sister much longer.

I had a fight regarding this with Sakshi, she informed Damini about the fight to Damini, her mother. Damini came and took Sakshi with her to their house.

Actually Arpana, Damini knew everything about Vihan from the beginning. That day when you all conducted his funeral thinking he really died, Damini knew very well that Vihan was alive, his whereabouts etc. The most annoying thing is she hurt you so much even after knowing everything about her son.
That family consists of so many cunning criminals. I guess it will benefit my mental health if Sakshi and I get separated." Nikhil said, picking little Diya up from her crib.

Arpana was beyond shocked after hearing what Nikhil said about Damini. Her ex mother-in law Damini made Arpana suffer so much for Vihan's fake death! She was the reason for Arpana's miscarriage (her taunts and sufferings made Arpana beyond weak. Both mentally and physically). The only thing Arpana wanted to do was to give that lady a tight slap! In order to vent out Arpana's anger. It hurts to know that even Sakshi has different faces. Not everyone is sweet as they may look from the outside.

"But Nikhil, I don't think Sakshi's being secretive to hurt you. As much as she loves you she loves her brother as well due to the way Vihan raised her (he raised her as his little princess) After all, brothers are more precious than an ex-sister in law" Arpana tried to defend Sakshi to save her brother's marriage.

"Baby Diya, oh I mean papa's little baby orange. Tell your mum to stop defending Sakshi aunty. Your mother tries to be a Saint sometimes and I don't like it because she falls into many problems and traps due to that" Nikhil said as he planted a kiss on his niece's forehead.

Arpana gently slapped Nikhil's arms and said "Stop speaking badly to my baby about her mum" Arpana jokes.

"Arpana, what's your career plans?" Nikhil asked out of the moon to change the subject.

"Ermm to be honest I'm not thinking about that. My priority is Diya right now. But I'm thinking of eventually starting a business once Diya's a little older... have discussed a few ideas with Arjun" Arpana replied, taking a seat next to Nikhil.

"I mean at the end of the day it's your choice but I think it'd be amazing if you'd have a career. Whether it's a 9-5 job or a business. It makes you financially independent and a perfect example for young girls like Diya to look up to." Nikhil said to which Arpana nodded and said "I know Nikhil even Arjun is encouraging me to do something. But I'm waiting for Diya to be a little older. Probably once she starts going to school. I don't want to miss her special moments."

Nikhil then grabbed a rattling toy and he passed the toy back and forth to Diya and watched her reaction as he did it. Eventually, in frustration Diya started to cry loudly. Arpana quickly picked Diya from Nikhil's hands and tried to comfort her. "You're scaring the poor baby Nikhil!" Arpana scolded Nikhil.
Eventually when Diya calmed down Nikhil picked her up once again from Arpana's arms and gave Diya the soft rattling toy once again, this time Diya kicked it as hard as possible making Nikhil and Arpana chuckle.

Sometime later Arpana hesitantly decided to ask Nikhil a question, "Nikhil, how's Ma?"

"She's fine, Arpana. The only thing she doesn't like now is when I speak about you to her" Nikhil said directly, so I avoid that conversation. She doesn't know the issues between me and Sakshi either".

"Oh" Arpana replied whilst turning around to avoid eye contact with Nikhil. Understanding that he probably has hurt Arpana's feelings, Nikhil placed his arms around her shoulders. Displaying all the brotherly affection, he never got to show her with all authority. "Arpana, life will be boring if it gives us pleasant fruits all the time. For it to be more interesting there needs to be a mix of negatives and positives. And like I've said earlier, not all parents are heroes to their children like we see in the films and the TV. In real life there are parents like our mother Bhanu ma and let me make this clear, I don't want my sister going after our mother because she doesn't deserve it after everything she has done to you Arpana. You won't be a mother by just giving birth. To be a true mother you will need to show a tinge of humanity as well. She has not shown that yet. You need to stand with your morals and values no matter what!" Nikhil made it clear and Arpana took a note of Nikhil's words.

Just before Nikhil could complete his advice session, Arjun entered the scene and looked at Arpana and Nikhil with wide eyes "heard some motivational dialogues, what was that about then?" Arjun asked as he popped a sweet to his mouth from the sweets packet.

"It's brother and sister's thing! You don't need to know" Arpana said with a wide grin.

"Oh is the husband out now, when the brother came?" Arjun asked as he picked Diya from Nikhil's arms.

"Well sounds like the husband is out?" Nikhil chuckled.

"At least I have my baby orange" just when Arjun said that, Diya began to scream and cry loudly making it intolerable for Arjun's ears. Arjun immediately handed Diya over to Arpana and said "well sounds like my drama queen is too with the brother and sister, leaving the poor papa alone" Arjun jokes.

That day Nikhil decided to stay over for the night. Deepak and Neria also promised to come, in a couple of hour's time. Therefore, to prepare for the night Arjun and Nikhil went to a restaurant to buy food for the night leaving Arpana and baby Diya at home alone. It was one of the most stupid decisions they've ever made!
Once they had left, Arpana gave Diya a warm bath. Bath time was now Diya's favourite activity of the day, every time when Arjun or Arpana bathed her she had all smiles on her face. As days went on she was becoming an exact copy of Arpana to which Arjun felt jealous.

After bathing the baby, Arpana fed her and put Diya into her cot when she saw Diya was fast asleep.

Some violence ahead, read at your own choice ...

'Why are they taking so long to return?'
Arpana thought. Just then she heard the doorbell ringing "Arjun does have the keys, why is he ringing the doorbell?" Arpana muttered as she went downstairs to open the door. When Arpana looked through the keyhole she saw two men facing the other way. Thinking it must be Arjun and Nikhil, Arpana opened the door hastily only to see danger in front of her.

As soon as Arpana saw Vihan's and Manoj's cruel faces, Arpana quickly decided to close the door but Vihan held his foot onto the door preventing her from closing it and barged into the house.

"For the last and final time I'm asking you to come with me, Arpana. You may bring your baby with you as well, I'm happy to raise it along with my Shreya. However, if you say NO once more, I'll commit something serious that you'll never be able to come out of in your life. This is because I'm at that stage in my life where I'm nearly turning mental" Vihan shouted at Arpana after observing the surroundings.

"Vihan how many bloody times do I have to tell you that I don't love you anymore? I've moved on, just like me, you need to move on as well!" Arpana said softly.

"Okay Arpana I can understand. You are choosing someone over me, whom you only knew for a few years. You knew me pretty much all of your life and you are still choosing him!" Vihan exclaimed with a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"You are responsible for who I am today. I used to be a girl who would never give up on you. But you became a person which you said you will never become, absolutely shattering me. When I finally healed from that entire trauma, you're coming again to ruin my peace!
And for the last time, let me say this.
Presently, Arjun is making me feel what you couldn't even though I knew you longer.
Time means nothing, character does." Arpana said for her to get a tight slap from Vihan. She rubbed her cheeks as it hurt her very much. Her cheeks were red now due to the impact of his slap.

"Close your fucking mouth" Vihan said and using Vihan's eyes he indicated Manoj something. Vihan then immediately grabbed Arpana's neck as if he was going to strangle her and whispered into her ears "even if we can't be together. I'm glad you were a part of my life" At this stage Vihan had turned into a proper psycho. He slammed Arpana's head onto the wall making her dizzy. Eventually she collapsed onto the ground.

Arpana opened her eyes when she heard Diya cry. Arpana has never heard her baby cry as much as this. Blood was dripping through Arpana's head, but it wasn't her concern now. The safety of her baby was her concern.

Arpana rushed upstairs, only to see the poor baby lying on the cold floor crying for help as the two devils walked in a circle around the baby. Seeing Arpana, Manoj lifted his dirty legs to stand on the poor child but just in time Arpana managed to push Manoj out of the way. Quickly Arpana grabbed her child, rushed downstairs and hid inside and wardrobe (the first place she could find to hide). Arpana tried to calm Diya by trying to feed her breast milk but Diya wouldn't settle no matter what. Tears sprung through Arpana's eyes, she wanted Diya safe no matter what.

Why does this always happen to us?

Easily, Vihan managed to trace Arpana and Diya as he could hear Diya crying very clearly. Forcefully, Vihan grabbed Diya out of Arpana's arms and dropped the child onto the bed in the room, absolutely traumatising the poor baby. Diya was only able to communicate through tears as she was only a few months old but Arpana was able to tell how much Diya craved for her mother's warmth and protection now.

"Had no plans to do this until now, but why not? It is my right to claim this body whenever I need to, This time Manoj will be sharing my wife's body along with me as well as it's the END of everything" Vihan said emphasising his last sentence as he pushed Arpana to the bed whilst looking at her lustfully .

Arpana still couldn't believe the Vihan she had once loved could be this horrible and selfish. Poor Arpana was frightened now. But even in this state she was looking out for Diya like every mother would do.

"How much I missed our spicy moments," Vihan said as he put a tight grip around Arpana's waist. Just then Manoj too followed Vihan after placing baby Diya onto the floor and laid himself onto the bed, scaring the poor soul.

"Please leave me" Arpana pleaded but before she could complete Vihan took her shawl away from her body.

"Why so much hesitation now? Back in the day you used to enjoy it" Vihan said. The thought of it made Arpana feel very disgusted and sick.

Arjun please return.

Please save me.

Manoj clutched her hands and covered her mouth using his other hands to silence her screams.

"Vihan.... please... leave me alone!! Don't hurt me... Diya!" Arpana sobbed in front of them. But in unison Manoj and Vihan laughed like sadists, a maniac. Vihan enjoyed watching her helplessness and pain.

From this Arpana becomes clear that Vihan and Manoj have turned into criminals, who lack basic humanity!

Vihan wanted to see Arpana in pain for moving on instead of grieving for him all her life, for not forgiving him when he returned and finally for being happy with Arjun and for bearing his child!

Manoj tried to place disgusting kisses on her neck but using her free hands Arpana slapped Manoj whilst crying and wiggling. It infuriated Manoj and Vihan more...

Arpana's felt as if she just took her last breath when Manoj started squeezing one of her breasts!!! The only thing she could do now was to cry!!!

"Arjun! Please save me!!!" Arpana screamed out of the top of her lungs. Just that moment Arpana heard the sound of a car engine. The gates rolled up and Arpana could hear the car being driven into the garage.

Using the little strength Arpana had she managed to push away Vihan and Arjun. Immediately she picked up Diya from the floor and started to run towards the hallway but Manoj grabbed Arpana by her hair and held his strong arms around her neck tightly. "You can't escape from us, you whore!" Manoj said. Meanwhile, Vihan took out a knife and placed it near baby Diya's fragile body.
Just like Arpana, the baby was scared too, just like Arpana it would've probably traumatised Diya as well.

When Arjun opened the door, this was the sight he saw. He couldn't bear to see the love of his life and his precious child in this state. Arjun tried to quickly approach them. Nikhil stood behind Arjun, it infuriated Nikhil more than anything seeing Vihan's and Manoj's dirty inhumane actions.

"If you inch closer to us, I will finish your wife and your child" Vihan screamed.

Arjun really didn't know what to do at this moment...

"Vihan, please! What is it you want?" Arjun asked him softly even though Arjun's heart and mind was only filled with rage and anger, "if it's money you want, Arpana and I will give you all our wealth" Arjun said.

"JUSTICE! Justice is what I want!" Vihan screamed.

"For what?" Arjun asked and then Arjun proceeded to say "Isn't it Arpana and I who deserves justice for everything you and Anjali did to us?" Arjun asked emotionally.

"Don't try to be too smart, Arjun!" If you try to be smart, your daughter and your so-called wife will be gone before you know!" Vihan threatened Arjun.

Arjun wanted to punch the shit out of Vihan and Manoj and possibly kill them two. They were honestly testing Arjun's patience! But because his daughter's and wife's life were at risk Arjun had to remain calm and composed and to make sure Arpana and Diya were fine, Arjun proceeds to murder them!

Slowly Vihan's knife started going up baby Diya's small legs. Arpana clutched tightly onto her baby in fear.

"Vihan, please. Don't do anything to my baby. Your revenge is to me only, not Diya. Please don't forget that! Please don't hurt my child for the sake of your anger and revenge towards me and Arjun. Arpana sobbed but Vihan laughed like a maniac!!

"You deserve a cruel death Arpana. Okay, I won't do anything to you baby" Vihan said and forcefully grabbed Diya out of her hands and placed her onto the floor. Immediately, Arjun came and picked Diya up... Arpana was relieved that finally her child was safe but Arpana?

Manoj's hold on Arpana got tighter. Vihan started drawing circles around Arpana's stomach with the ends of his knife making her feel very scared. She didn't want to die so soon. She wanted to live many more years with Arjun and Diya and cherish those beautiful moments! Neither did Arpana want to miss out on Diya's milestones and her achievements as she grows into a beautiful young girl.
It pained Arpana's heart when she thought about all this.

It was like fate didn't want to see her happy neither the people associated with her!

"Vihan, please! Please don't do anything to Arpana!" Arjun pleaded and sobbed. Arjun felt like a useless fool who couldn't even save or protect his wife. Arpana helplessly saw tears falling out of Arjun's eyes. His gaze was fixed on Arpana! Arjun was not ready to give his wife to death.

Arjun quickly ran towards Vihan and Arpana with a ray of hope that he will be able to save Arpana...

Seeing Arjun approaching them, Vihan lifted his arms to stab Arpana with the knife. Manoj was watching all this with a cruel smile.

Just then they heard two sharp and extremely loud sounds.

At that moment all the memories Arpana had after the life she began with Arjun flashed before her eyes. Arjun and Arpana's wedding, all their fights, the time they spent in Goa, their first date, their love confession under the dusky moonlight, the pregnancy announcement, the day Diya was born, the moment when Arjun held her for the first time and finally the precious moments they shared along with Diya ...

It had all came to an end

Arpana closed her eyes, not willing to accept the reality... 

"The sorrow we feel when we loose a loved one Is the price we pay to have had them in our lives ..."

Poor baby Diya, she does not deserve to be treated like this ! Neither Arjun or Arpana

Arjun and Nikhil went to the restaurant together, but when Arjun return not much of Nikhil has been mentioned ? Where could've he gone ?

Looks like Nikhil and Sakshi have separated! What do you all think of Nikhil's revelation about Damini ? Should she suffer and should Nikhil and Sakshi reconile ?
