~*Arceus' POV*~

Arceus eyed the newcomers, then looked at Mew. She was shaking in Liana's arms, her eyes uncertain of what he thought. Liana herself looked uncertain, but confident.

Mew, why do you keep talking to humans?

I-I... Her sentence trailed off.

"It's not her fault, I'm the one who chased after her," Zed quickly said.

Why are they here, Arceus asked, his eyes still locked on Mew.

Well- Liana cut the psychic type off.

"They want to help you," She explained.

Arceus looked at Liana, then at the two boys standing next to her. More humans helping him meant that the other legendaries could stay at their posts. He inwardly sighed, and looked back at Liana.

Who are they?

"The one with the Tyrunt is my brother, Devin, and the other is Zed, a trainer that was held captive by Yveltal."

Held captive by Yveltal?

"Yveltal claimed that he was hungry and didn't like going outside during the day, so he captured a trainer and his Pokémon because they so happened to have wandered into his home," Liana explained.

I'll have to speak with him... Where's Darkrai?

"He ran away after Devin discovered him."

Arceus sighed, outloud this time. Darkrai was tough, but he could get startled easily if a human out smarted him. He looked back at the two boys.

You two can help, but under one condition: You must always serve me until I let you go.

Devin and Zed grinned, their Pokémon cheering with them. Mew teleported out of Liana's arms, and came back with two pokéballs. She handed them to Devin and Zed, who let them out immediately. Two oddly coloured Gallades came out.

"Woah!" Zed exclaimed. "What are these for?"

They know the move Teleport. They're used to get to the different legendaries quicker.

Devin was walking around his Gallade, examining it. The Pokémon watched him, but did not move. Zed was talking away to his, his excitement really showing. Arceus sighed again.

Liana, show them what to do. You too, Mew.

With that, he teleported away.

~*Liana's POV*~

Liana looked at Devin and Zed, who were now talking to Mew. She turned her head to a nearby shadow, where Darkrai was rising out of. Darkrai hovered over to her, his eyes on Devin.

I don't trust him.

"My brother?" Liana asked.

Darkrai just looked at her, then sunk back into the shadows. She sighed, and looked back at her brother. Why doesn't Darkrai trust him? She thought, puzzled. Liana shook off the thought and walked over to them.

"Mew, do they have everything they need?" Liana asked.

Yes, you can get them started now.

Liana nodded and Mew teleported away. She took out her list of legendaries.

"Let's check on Giratina," Liana told them.

She led them to a room that was full of reflections. The floor, walls, ceiling, and even the door had reflections. Mew had told her to come here when checking on Giratina. Liana looked around, her eyes growing wide. The room was about as long as two football fields, and taller than she could imagine.

"Woah," she breathed.

Devin was looking around the room, his eyes landing on he floor. His Tyrunt was sniffing at it. The surface rippled, causing it to look like water. Giratina flew out of the reflection, landing in front of them. Zed stumbled backwards a step, then regained his balance. Giratina looked at Liana.

You seem familiar.

"You probably saw me with Xerneas the other day," Liana suggested.

That's probably it.

Giratina looked at Devin and Zed. Devin was examining the legendary, his hand on his chin. Darkrai's words kept replaying in her head: I don't trust him. She shivered, looking back at Giratina. Liana pulled out her pen and notebook.

"Giratina, I need your report."

Giratina looked back af Liana. His red eyes locked with hers.

Xerneas got attack by some trainers today, that's about it.

"Attacked? Did you help her?" Liana asked, worried.

Of course I helped her, I wasn't going to leave her to get hurt.

Liana wrote down what he told her, and flipped her notebook closed. She put her stuff back in her bag.

"Thank you, Giratina."

Giratina nodded to her once, and flew back into the reflection he came out of. Liana looked at Zed, who was staring at the spot Giratina disappeared to. Devin still had his hand on his chin, his eyes full of thoughts. I don't trust him.

Liana shook her head, trying to clear her mind of Darkrai's words. She had to talk to Darkrai, she had to know why he didn't trust her brother.

"Let's go guys," Liana said, her mind still on Darkrai.

"I will find out why he doesn't trust Devin," she muttered. "And then I'll try to make it right."
